Nightmare-Warding Iron Crown - (Head Armor +15)

Description:

A nondescript crown of cool iron, save for the spider emblem on the inside of the crown, this artifact changes its form when placed on a sentient being’s head, adorning itself with jewels or precious metals as if pulled straight from the wearer’s dreams. Regardless of form, the crown emits an unsettling aura towards those who sense such things. This crown possesses a unique ability to protect its owner from nightmares and other resident hazards of the Plane of Dreams. It also grants immunity from the powers of the Unholy Serpentine Nightmare Athame, though no other immunities or resistances have been uncovered as of yet.

History:

This crown was inexplicably found at the center of an abandoned giant spider’s web in the Dark Forest, just outside of the Black Spire that serves as the Necromancer's Guild headquarters. Upon deliberation of how to treat this object, it was deemed low-risk enough to serve as a runner-up prize for the Vailkrin tournament being held.

Additional Information:

Though Lita initially won the dagger, when she won the Vailkrin Blood Bowl, at some point afterward, her and Khitt switched rewards, because she wanted the crown more (because she's a #queen).
