• Selling at the Enchantment Apothecary:
  • You do not have enough Elixir-of-Ethereal-Form to sell 1 of them. I get this message by clicking on the sell 1 link and the sell all link as well as typing the sell command manually.--Ilydia 23:57, 20 June 2010 (UTC)

• When I type: eat (insertitemhere), it says that I don't have the item in my inventory. I have say, 5 pickles, I type, eat pickle, or eat 1 pickle, but then it says that I don't have any of that item to eat. What's up with that? -Qnairou 27 November, 2008

• Daily Login Bonus
  • I noticed that sometimes I do get some amount of silver when I have logged in two days consequently in a row. But if I was logged on during the night into the early morning hours, I seems to not get any of this bonus silver even after I have logged out, went to bed, then I logged on that same day. Is this a delibrate feature to prevent 'unfair' advantages of time zones? Impontus 21:53, 14 February 2011 (UTC)

Battling (mobs)

I love the new look of the battle page, and I'm not sure if you guys are done with it. But I can't seem to use potions or cast healing spells any longer in battle. I really liked being able to do that. If it's a bug, I just wanted to report it. If that's how you guys wanted it. . . o well Thanks --Blyss 4-27-2014

The Preklek Scouting Party scampered off downwards. You attacked the Preklek Scouting Party. You sing a song of death at the Preklek Scouting Party. While battling a Prek Party (one of the wandering ones) It took me to the Sculptures in the Shadows (Hans says room 4:101705) room (in Gulon). Again it wandered, going west (available direction) then going east (unavailable direction). Mob was no longer fightable. Possibly went into a locked/hidden room? --Trinsa 06:53, 30 July 2010 (UTC)

-- Possible answer, since you're using cure rather than full cure, is that you weren't at full hp when you started the fight. If you were down, say, 100hp, then the mob would do 4 (-104), you'd cure 33 (-71), it would do 4 (-75), and you'd cure 36 (-41). And so on. No guarantee that's what happened, but it's an idea. --Cyllarus 14:41, 31 May 2010 (UTC)

--You can't cast full cure during battle. I'm stating more of the fact that it is attacking twice when I cure. I'm mainly asking if it is a bug or not because I've only noticed this when I successfully cast cure. If I fizzle, it only hits once. I'm more of wondering if it is a bug or if it is intended. It attacks twice, once before cure, once after cure. --Ilydia 17:45, 31 May 2010 (UTC)

Is this really necessary?
* They're generating extra messages now too. There is only one Giant Spider, and it only went East, not south. Same for the Scared Workman.

is it just me or is it impossible to send a fire bolt at something that dose not exist.

• Arrow Rain, consisting of 19 arrows at 5 damage each, plus 10 additional damage from the true-sight-long bow is 105 damage total. However, it only damages mobs for 104 damage. ~Rhocielle 8/17/2009 22:37 CST

• shedu mob in Cenril is locked in battle with a player named Brackyn, who has not logged on in weeks. If a player idles out of Hollow, the mob should leave battle with that player so that it is free for other players.

Formatting Issues

• Not sure if this would go under "Formatting" or "Misc" and I'm not even sure there's anything to be done about it, but when I use Google Chrome to access the wiki, the navigation buttons on the left of the screen get shifted down below the main panel of the page. It seems to be universally just shoved to the bottom of the page. I suppose it isn't really a problem or a bug, but I figured I'd note it just in case. ^_^ --Lokthull 22:43, 5 May 2011 (UTC)

• I've found that, on occasion, Hollow may not format text correctly at times, yet after I press the submit button, it may format it correctly the next time. It alternates between the two (more often than not, it is formatted correctly). --Bathelemy 16:27, 30 November 2007 (CST)
  • This occurs when someone types into Microsoft Word, and copies and submits it right from Word. To fix this problem, type what you were going to into Notepad, copy it and paste it into Word for spell check, then re-paste in Notepad(Not sure if this is necessary) and then backspace your last character, such as a period or question mark and retype it, then copy what you have in Notepad into Hollow. --Demont 13:20, 23 October 2008 (UTC)

Other bugs

• I guess this would be the place to put it; I've noticed three times now, when going into hibernate the rest feature either stops or comes off as I go to rest, hibernate come back and none of my stats are regained.

• Tried using the in game bug command and it did not work. I've always liked that. I can understand if the admins don't want people messaging them all the time to. . . Just wanted to report if it is a bug.

• When using cure instead of full cure on other players, it sometimes does not cure them, but it displays on the upper left corner that I did and I get the experience for curing them. However, they do not receive the message and they gain no hp. Others receive no message and do gain hp. I have yet to find someone who has told me that they have received the message for cure and thus I have to use full cure on other players to make sure I heal them. Edit: It seems to be a relatively isolated issue and may have been resolved already, will do further testing later. --Ilydia 17:53, 31 May 2010 (UTC)

• When I use full heal (as a priest) I dont' get the stamina I should. I counted 72 individual healing hands to raise my stamina once, but when I used full heal and restored over 230k health, I only got 1 stamina.

• I'd have to say that it seems that rangers also don't get the stamina that they should be getting. I counted over 50 heals worth of full cures with no noticeable stamina experience gain. However, the magic gain seems to be fine. It appears that for healing other players, stamina experience may not be correctly accounted for. --Ilydia 21:15, 21 June 2010 (UTC)

• Looking at logged out characters:

I went to edit my character's (Sidney) bio this morning and discovered you can look at players that are offline. I discovered this by clicking on the text bar and scrolling down to 'look at Sidney'. Instead, I accidentally clicked 'look at Nasada'. All of a sudden, my alt's bio page comes up.

I found this odd, so I assumed it was a built in feature. I then checked a couple others Bios that weren't online and sure enough I could see their character's bio and looks. I then tried another friend and it wouldn't show me. I then got the idea to go to where she last logged out and try, and sure enough I could see her bio/character gear from where she last logged out. Further experimenting, I went back to the Hanging Corpse, and tried to look at someone who logged out last night, who didn't have a bio page, and I could see them as well. I have come to the conclusion that if you are in a room where a player logs out, you can still see them by typing 'look at (playername)'. Not a major bug, but interesting nonetheless. - Nasada (04/11/2010)

• For some reason I have to use the recover button in order to post using the '/'. I type out my post and it doesn't appear, however I hit the recover button and it returns to the submit box, I hit submit a second time and it sends fine. As far as I can tell there are no other glitches but this one is more than a little annoying.(02/13/2010) -Jaegar

• Every time I click the clear or rest on the control panel, the control panel, itself, disappears. (02/10/2010)

• I changed 25,000 copper and 6500 silver into gold, but my amount of gold remained the same. The copper and silver is no longer in my inventory. -Satoshi (02/16/09 3:24 PM)
  • Possibly related or not (I doubt it, but it's at the bank too): Any time I wish to change an amount of currency into a higher grader (like copper -> silver), it's possible to input a number with something else than 0 in the ones digit. The change function will then round it to the nearest ten. When it rounds down, the fuction does everything correct. But when it does round up to the next ten, it will return something along the lines of 'You do not have ____ silvers.' and no currency adjustment is done. Please correct this slight bug so that at all times the changing function will always round down to ensure smooth operation, Thanks. Impontus 20:24, 27 April 2011 (UTC)

• I cant sign my messages at the wiki. the command bar thingy is missing... Noemi

• The first time I logged into the game with my new character, I took off the rusty dagger and still had it on, so took it off again and found out I had two, the same thing happened with the ragged dress. Though I'm not complaining about that, cause it could have given me more gold when I sold them, I don't think that was suppose to happen. Secondly, now when I look at my inventory, both the weapons and clothing section is gone, and each time I try to go to a different room, it repeats itself. exp- I was in 'One final note' hit south, and was once again in 'One final note'. That seems to happen with each room and i don't know what to do about it. I tried logging off and then back in, but that doesn't help.

• I cannot transfer 1 Cosmetic Set from my inventory to another player. I entered "give PLAYER NAME 1 Cosmetic Set" I get a green box error on the top of the screen that says I do not have that in my inventory. Same happens when I try to drop the item as well. I tried to copy and paste the item name from my inventory into the command bar so I was sure all the spelling and punucuation was correct.

• As of just a few moments ago, seemingly after Tranzier gave me two items, anytime I look at my Inventory, I don't get to scroll through and it automatically re-signs me in. --Anshera 14:35 EST April 18th 2008

• When using Clan list command as a non leader, it should still bring up the mail whole clan command, however, this feature was either removed with trinities upgrade, or there is a technical error. ----Colin 19:47, 14 September 2007(EDT)

• I can type clan and a message and get through even though I'm not in one. Wether or not it is actually still connected to my clan is beyond me, but it tells me I've spoken in a clan channel. - Vincent

• When I battle monsters, i don't seem to be getting any form of stats increase, and i have tried quite a few times... does this mean that I can only get XP by fighting creatures of a high enough level, or is something actually wrong? -Morikage 16/05/08

• Mining apparently does not count as activity. If I mine for too long, when I am finished I come back into Hollow with a blank screen (no history), and others see me suddenly appear in the room when I was not there.   • That's not a bug, It's the language and words being used. Full after using food/drinks is a full stomach. Full as in can't move is hunger/thirst to the full max possible. But yeah it CAN get confusing. Impontus
