General Information

Name: Bathe'lemy

Combative Class: Primarily sorcerer, though he is competent in use of the katana and longsword.

Alignment: Lawful Evil. Though he does believe in a structured society, he would intend to bend such rules to fit his desires.

Personality: Often laid-back, yet can be quite serious when the time calls for it.

If Bathe'lemy likes a person, he will generally act: Callous and oblivious to their feelings. Though he knows of emotions only as far as his own go, however, he generally helps those in emotional distress if said person is pulling him down or causing him trouble as a result. If not, however, he simply spouts "I just think you need some time to sort this all out on your own."

If Bathe'lemy has no opinion of a person, he will generally act: Omniscient. Of course, he knows that he doesn't know everything, but this is the only way that gains respect from people, he thinks. At very least, he expects most to humor him yet not trust what he says.

If Bathe'lemy dislikes a person, he will generally act: Unpredictable. One day he may act as a friend, the next he may attempt to kill a person. This is, however, true unpredictability. He is as likely to attack as he is to display an illusion of himself jumping off of a bridge.

Social Class: Noble-like, yet set apart from other nobles due to the fact that he sports no last name and practices sorcery. Other nobility still respects him, however, yet whether that is due to his sorcerous power or simply his polite nature is unknown. There is a tale of a certain incident within the distant city of Tuskar (often referred to as the "Willow Incident" for reasons unknown) that he tells on occasion, yet this story isn't just for anyone to hear. He chooses the recipients based on their actions, not whether he likes them or not, and has even been known to tell those he seems to hate about it.

Favored Weapons

Illusions: Bathe'lemy prefers these to conventional weaponry, as they require little physical effort on his part and are just as lethal. Unlike most illusions that people hear about, the sorcerous bloodline of Bathe'lemy allows him to project images that affect all five senses: Smell, touch, sound, sight, and taste. As a result of being able to affect touch, his illusions are even said to physically kill people.

Katana: An unnamed katana that was either magically forged or enchanted after creation. This blade is said to be able to cut anything within two seconds after it is released from its sheath. However, the truth is that this time is increased by a millisecond for every victim its steel takes. Whether the blade started out with two seconds or Bathe'lemy killed two thousand people is unknown.

Lightning: Interestingly enough, lightning and thunder both are an improvement made upon the repertoire of weapons at his disposal. He has several more uses for it than the standard attack, of course, such as activating and deactivating certain functions of a living organism through tampering with the electrical nerve pulses. This could cause an opponent to react differently to a situation by intercepting the nervous impulses that alert his mind to the pain of an unchecked wound, thus increasing the chances that said individual will die from an unchecked cut in a vital area. By itself, Lightning is not an effective weapon, yet its use in altering impulses adds a unique deadliness to the horseman's style.

Hollow's Bane: This is a physical weapon combined with numerous illusionary enchantments on both the longsword and Bathe'lemy himself. Though he would never refer to the series of spells as "Hollow's Bane" in the middle of combat, it's a simple combination of extreme magic and swordsmanship. Though the sword itself has a magically lightened weight, its power as others would see it is vastly stronger. Even the blade itself grows longer and becomes increasingly unique, as well as gaining several powers that were thought up to counter the seemingly endless number of 'unique' powers found within Hollow, especially soul magics. However, as with most illusions, strong disbelief is enough to shatter the spell due to the fact that Bathe'lemy cannot empower this particular illusion, as he does his others.
