Blyss's Biography: Blyss Lee Alexander was born over a millennia ago as a half elf. His mother was a high elf named Filauria Tarsis, and his father a human knight called Lee Alexander. His mother died during childbirth, so his father raised him and taught him the way of the blade. During his thirteenth year of life, Blyss’ father died in a great battle along with his older brother Lehman, leaving Blyss on his own. Blyss became a thief stealing what he needed to live.

Six years later, Blyss stole from the wrong person: A pure blood vampire going by the name Azariel Orlock. Blyss was caught in the ancient vampire's abode, and instead of killing him Azariel turned Blyss into a thrall. Blyss spend the next centuries as a slave, toiling in Lord Orlock's personal mines. Lord Orlock finally saw Blyss for his true potential when he killed Lord Orlock's right hand vampire, an immense vampiric general known as Dune. The vampire general had taken away Blyss’ blood rations unfairly and was beating Blyss bloody. Using the skills his father had taught him, Blyss took the blade from Dune's belt and killed him, cutting his throat again and again. Soon Dune's head was detached from his huge orcish body. Blyss - afraid of what the Lord might do - ran, killing 10 other Vampire thralls in his path before finally being caught and sent to Azariel's throne room. Unbeknownst to Blyss, the Lord had disliked Dune anyway, and congratulated Blyss on his new position as general. That night Blyss became a full fledged vampire.

Blyss spent almost four centuries fighting for Lord Orlock, perfecting his skills with a blade, and crushing his adversaries. On one fateful campaign after being away in a far off land for many moons, Blyss found his master slain. The fortress was in ruins, fires had been let loose throughout every room, and nothing was left but a few bare walls. Vengefully, Blyss began his search, becoming a rogue mercenary. It did not take him long to find out who had destroyed his master: It turned out to be a powerful drow who ruled a nearby under kingdom. This drow had become jealous of Lord Orlock, and betrayed him. Blyss found help in his old foes. Selling his services to the human king who Azariel had been struggling with for sixty years, under Blyss’ command the human army took to the tunnels. It took three generations of human warriors to finally break down the drow defenses. Finally having his revenge, Blyss burned out all of the drow caves, and killed the drow ruler.

After that, Blyss began to wonder the world, free of any master. A few decades later, he stumbled upon a great land called Hollow. Here he made friends - and foes. That was before a undead demigod named Xaden cursed him, binding a demon to his soul. He was exiled from Hollow, not allowed to return less the demon be removed. Finally, Blyss has returned to Hollow after many a season, finished now with his quest to exorcize the demon that resided within him. Now after so many years and weakened by his ordeal, Blyss hopes to resurrect his clan, Daaku Shisou, and become as powerful as he once was.
