Description:

Crafted from the bones of a satyr, this powerful magical instrument bears intricate engravings along the curved body that seem to dance and change form when exposed to different types of light. Having been dipped into unicorn blood to give it an ethereal silvery shine, the harp emits a powerful bardic aura that makes it stand out to even the untrained eye. The harp has been strung with carefully dried and woven strings from a dragon's heart, giving the music it produces a heartbreaking tremolo as though sung by an anguished goddess from Praemia. Despite it no longer bearing connection to the Ascendi that created it, it might still have a connection to the original God that blessed the gift of bardic magic upon mortals...

History:

This item was created by Daedria just before she and the other Ascendi were locked in a higher plane. Having been hidden away, this instrument was long thought to be a work of fiction created by those who peddled trinkets that once belonged to the pseudo-deities when they walked amongst mortals. That was, until word of it reached a certain mad queen's ears...

Additional Information:

This item has the ability to help train one in bard magic like weight to a muscle. This way it can be passed on to an aspiring bard or someone who is wishing to change their class. Dragon heartstrings are impressively durable and could possibly possess different qualities based on what color dragon they're from, though the process of obtaining a dragon's heart, properly crafting the strings, and replacing the strings that were there before could prove to be a deadly task.
