Description:

Crafted by the same jeweler that made the Swirled Blue-Green Moon Earrings this bright red and green apple-shaped cabochon of ammolite, a representation of the apple constellation, is fixed to an apple-shaped hooked plate of platinum, and allowed to hang from a long braided chain of the same metal. Much like the earrings, this pendant too has a very thin layer of quartz formed over top of it to keep it safe from the elements. It is often paired with the Buddstone Broom-Constellation Pendant on another long braided platinum chain. In each of the spots where a star would be on the apple constellation, tiny faceted quartz crystals are embedded within the ammolite, giving off a rainbow-y shine when the light hits it just right.

Ammolite is an opal-like gemstone created from the fossilized shells of ammonites and primarily comprised of aragonite, which is the same mineral found in mother of pearl. Ammolite, in crystal magic, is connected to the root chakra, located at the base of the spine. It's associated with elemental power, past-life regression, protection, and longevity. The apple symbolizes wisdom, good luck, and sometimes temptation.
