Description:

Crafted by a skilled jeweler, these Vaalane-themed earrings are composed of two separate shades of chrysocolla, a deep green-blue and a pale greenish-white, that are fixed to titanium earring hooks, allowing them to dangle somewhat from the wearer's ears. Each one is carefully crafted to ensure a lifetime of wear, having a thin coating of clear quartz formed around it for protection from the elements, as the stone may fade in the sun and cannot come in contact with water for long periods of time. One is shaped like a crescent moon, while the other is a full moon.

Chrysocolla is typically worn for its ability to grant the power of discretion and to increase wisdom. A stone of peace, it's also used to help drive away unreasonable fear and illusions, helping to soothe emotions. In astrology, the moon (as a whole) represents our deepest emotions and instincts. In spellwork, the full moon represents a time for clarity and intuition. It's a time to let go or release things that aren't helpful so you can properly heal from them. The crescent moon has two sides, the waxing and the waning. During the time of the waxing crescent, spellworkers should be working towards the intention set during the new moon. The waning crescent, on the other hand, is the last phase before a new moon. This is meant to be a time of rest and reflection, to prepare for new beginnings.
