Talk:Crystal Dragon (Race)

So this race is hard as crystal, magic absorbent and has no specific weakness? Overpowered much? This needs some serious work here. --Ryeanna 11:40, 17 February 2010 (UTC)

I always figured that, since they are so magically inclined and oriented, that they would be physically weaker than other dragons, and would only be magic-using classes. That way, there's a balance to it. --Sanlig

I did what I knew, I knew the admins would say what you have Rye. So change or edit however you see fit. Tis the Admins job is it not? I only gave it a page and threw what I believed was correct on it. Which, as we all know is never completely correct. --Ravnes

I appologize then. Ill add some things to it now, let me know what you think. And remember these are rare dragons. And powerful they are. Their crystal like hides would do well against a physical attack would they not? Although blunt weapons and sound would be a weakness since their skin is that of crystal --Ravnes

The thing you have to remember about dragons, though, is that they tend to be played in an overpowered sort of way already. The natural balance of fantasy has to be respected here, too: one being cannot be both a physical tank and a magical genius. You have one or the other. Besides, I never saw crystal dragons as being made of actual crystal, anyway...more like they have skin that looks like crystal. I do agree on the blunt weapons, but I think it should be expanded to include all physical attacks. See Blue dragons as a reference, as they are also weak to physical attack. --Sanlig
