Peridot geodes roughly cut give this crown the illusion of being coated in glittering moss, intermittently interrupted by off-white puffball mushrooms peeking out like pearls. Branches of the dead oaks standing guard to Vailkrin have been sourced with the Necromancer's Guild's blessing, woven to create the base of the crown and enchanted with a unique blend of druidic and necromantic energies so that the fungus regrows if disturbed or plucked. The crown is as much of a weapon as it is an accessory; the mushrooms have hardened due to exposure to the dry Cenrili air. When plucked from the crown and thrown, the mushrooms shatter and expel a lightweight spore cloud that contains a powerful neurotoxin. If the neurotoxin is inhaled, it induces fast-acting symptoms such as a loss of coordination, muscle spasms and convulsions akin to temporary paralysis, and in cases of prolonged exposure, death by respiratory paralysis.
