Arc:Merfolk Tale

From HollowWiki

We used to be a majestic race, plentiful and sophisticated, until you came along.

You with your sea lore of our beauty and magical voices that was surprisingly more truth than fiction. You spread our lives around through words and songs as though it was yours to sing about, drawing attention to us in a way we never wanted. And then, when you could no longer merely enjoy the thoughts of us, when that wasn’t enough for you to survive on, you sought us out.

Now we are stationed in the bay between Rynvale and Cenril, and while we haven’t made ourselves known to you yet, we don’t trust you enough that you won’t somehow stumble upon us. But just know, we’re ready and waiting.

CHAPTERS:

The Artifacts of Mercea

The merfolk who survived the hunting of their species to the brink of extinction live for one thing, vengeance. For a long time that vengeance was limited to the mayhem they could cause in the lives of the surface walkers out on the water. Now, however, fate has seen to guide into their hands the means to deliver mayhem into the heart of the world they despise; a way to destroy it from the inside out with the compulsions of its own base nature. A set of custom made and magically imbued jewelry is about to be introduced to Hollow, and madness will be the result.

Items: Note, After three weeks of continuous wearing or use of any of these items, characters should begin to manifest symptoms of the appropriate taint.

IMPORTANT: As with -any- rp in Hollow, protocols of rp etiquette are expected to be followed. It is not recommended that any wielders of an artifact attempt to 'auto influence' an unwilling charry. There will likely be someone willing to go along with your role play if you look hard enough. It is hoped however, that most who are approached for rp will be willing to play along in the spirit of the story.
