Description

Short in stature, the half-breed appears as a child. Swirling silver optics peer out beneath a rather unkempt mass of snowy white locks. She is usually seen clad in a set of Amethyst robes, runes covering their surface. Upon her finger lies the signet of the Lyastri family, the youth connected to the pack through her father. The clothes she adorns herself in are rarely seen to be clean, the girl having a hard time dealing with messes.

Despite her child-like appearance in body, Miia's mind has developed as most other adults – though at times she slips into more childish patterns, her sanity is compromised due to the time she was trapped by the time-lord Vuryal after he murdered her mother.

Biography

Born of two different worlds, Miia grew up in a very familiar place called Hollow. Her father was Jesserios Lyastri, a simple human who tackled life to become a great King. He held a dark past though, known for his dark magics and scythe of souls. Her mother was a simple elf, following the ways of the earth who fell madly in love with the man.

Miia Rose came six minutes before her twin brother William Gage, using that fact as leverage over her brother, mostly because she did not grow like the other children. Will developed regularly, being of normal size and stature. Miia on the other hand was stunted, and as they aged, she fell behind. But she remained studious, while her brother wandered the woods, she stuck strong to her mothers side, hungry for every but of information the woman would bestow upon her child. It seemed her hands were not meant for that path, no life came from her fingers, only death. She had inherited Jesserios' dark side.

Vuryal. The man who shaped Miia's future. He was the one who took her mother and father away. He was the one who led Miia to the voices, the twisted Archmosian Empire swallowing the innocent girl.

Shamaness. It is said there are two ways for a Shaman to come to be. First one could learn the techniques from the elders as spiritual powers were usually inherited. But they could also develop through psychological crisis, and unfortunately Miia was the later.

The empire tainted Miia, and she clung to the time-lord as he was the only adult she could turn to now, even if he had taken the lives of her parents. Her mind had twisted her thoughts to follow Vuryal, becoming even more torn inside. Inside her head was hell, two sides of right and wrong in constant battle. And from this loneliness blossomed her talent.

The spirits flocked to the child. She could see them, hear them, she was overwhelmed by them. They spoke to her, knowing more about her life and self than she knew herself. In this time, she came upon two wolves in the forest, both plagued by evil spirits. She was able to completely save Borias, the male healing fully from the encounter. The other, Ephiny was not so lucky. Miia was unable to detach the evil that had woven itself into the wolfs soul, but instead of passing into death as she should of, the females soul remained by Borias' side, the two having been a mated pair. Only Borias and Miia can fully sense Ephiny, but others of the canine persona may be able to sense something strange. Ephiny has become Miia's guild through the spirit realm. This was an obvious link, as Miia was a Lyastri, her heritage known for their affinity to wolves.

Talents

-Soul Magic – As a shaman, Miia's specialty is in souls. She is able to both see and hear the deceased, but often requires some sort of trance to fully communicate. Depending of the case, this may be through meditation, various herbs, fasting, or blood-letting. During these trances Ephiny accompanies Miia's soul, while Borias stays behind to guard her physical form.

-Herbs – their effects, healing powers, and magical properties. She uses these to induce trance

She has taken to collecting dead/rotting things and often smells as such
Most of her time is spent reading the ancient texts throughout Hollow's libraries.
