All's Quiet On The Western Front... For Now
It has been several weeks since the conclusion of the war between Cenril and Larket, wherein King Macon surrendered to Mayor Valrae. The silence left in the wake of the war's devastation has left many wondering just what's going to happen to King Macon, after Cenril's occupation of Larket. Will there be a trial? Will he be sentenced to death for his consistent war crimes? Many hope for both of these, while others are just glad it's over, before things could spill into more neutral territory, like it had with Kelay-Sage.
A New Era, And With it, A Celebration of Love
The expansion in Vhys has been completed! And acting as a sort of "grand opening" party for the region, the Passionbloom Celebration, hosted by Vhys' own Chancellor Lhyrin Amarth and Delisha's Axe of Love and biggest fanboy, Mathollak, had a seemingly successful night. Despite this, however, there seemed to be a verbal altercation between the Chancellor and the best dressed winner of the night, though the peg-legged vampire's name goes unknown for now.
A Yearly Warning!
It's during the Spring season that we, the leaders of Vhys' main Houses, like to warn both citizens of Vhys and our lovely visitors, that if you feel yourself being pulled towards the forest after sundown, please head back into the city! Many dangers lurk in our ancient forest and if you do not have a proper escort, you may find yourself disemboweled, hanging from a tree! But, if seeking out those sorts of things are your prerogative, then you have been warned...

My name is Lady Wysandantris. You do not know me and rest assured you never shall, but be forewarned that I certainly know all of you. Scandal has graced the esteemed halls of the ton and it appears the drama is far from over even though the first official day of spring is yet to be sprung. Allow me, Lady Wysadantris, to regale you with the latest whispers that have reached my ever-curious ears.
It seems that Lady Elora Zummaer, known for her exquisite taste and impeccable manners, has found herself entangled in a most peculiar situation. Rumors swirl that the Duchess Chandrelle Yinfiel, a woman of undeniable charm and influence, has taken a keen interest in Lady Elora's affairs in a not so subtle manner. Could this be a case of friendship, or is there something more clandestine at play? Yet… that is not all, dear readers- Lord Glarald Petquinal, a distinguished gentleman with a penchant for the finer things in life, has been seen in the company of both Lady Elora and the Duchess Yinfiel. Could this unexpected trio be forging a bond that defies the conventions of our elite society, or is there a web of deceit waiting to be unraveled?
One can only imagine the secrets that lie beneath the surface of these seemingly innocent encounters. Will Lady Elora, the Duchess Yinfiel, and Lord Petquinal emerge unscathed from this tangled web of intrigue, or will their reputations be forever tarnished by the scandal that threatens to consume them?
In other news, love is in the air among the ton as Lady Cynarith and rake Viscount Ievis Reyfaren III have officially become the newest power couple, captivating society with their undeniable chemistry as they’ve been spotted on long promenades along the square and gardens. Their budding romance shines brightly, but of course it doesn’t dare compare to the love story of our very own Illustrious Countess Arlayna Venpeiros and Count Lorsan Venpeiros, setting hearts aflutter and inspiring envy in those who witness their seemingly perfect union. In a world where love and scandal intertwine, these couples stand as beacons of enduring love and unwavering devotion, reminding us all that true happiness can be found in the arms of one's beloved.
As always, dear readers, I shall keep a watchful eye on the unfolding events and also shall not rest until the truth is revealed. Until then, remember that in the world of the ton, nothing is ever quite as it seems.

Academy Open Houses
For the first two weeks of each season, open houses are held every other day, with the days alternating each week, allowing for potentially new students and their parents/guardians/patrons to check out the school and make decisions on whether or not they'd like to join. Please see an attendant in the Student Services building for times and dates.

Here you'll find a list of advertisements for temp/part/full time work, that includes but isn't limited to: apprenticeships at the Zamfrin Glassworks Foundry; positions for the cafe, bookstore, and diner; a new lightkeeper wanted for the Forsaken Beacon, after the previous one's untimely demise; and an ad from the dark rangers looking for more able bodies to join their ranks, with a note that other races besides forsaken elves are welcome to apply.
Local Events
Half a page is dedicated to the following list of weekly events found within Elimdor: Weekend parties at the Grand Temple of Delisha, which are family friendly from 3-8pm and adults only 9pm to sunrise; Weekly glassworking classes for minor trinkets and baubles; and flower arrangement, and cooking with herbs and spices classes at Apothecary By The Sea.
Vhysian Trade
Stocks for glass, lumber, and ore/minerals are up. Leather stocks are up. International trade is down, due to the ongoing need for new trade agreements with other regions.
Vhysian Weather
As per usual in the Spring in Vhys, there's quite a lot of rain. Nearly every day. If it isn't raining, it's probably overcast, with a few days of sunny skies sprinkled in here and there. Constant fog for the foreseeable future at the harbor.

War Erupts On The Mainland
After years of accusations, murders, and mayhem, the word that had been at the back of everyone's mind for years, when it came to the witches of Cenril and the supposed servants of Death himself in Larket, is now finally at the forefront: war. Who will come out on top in this unsightly battle between the two regions? Only time will tell how many Vakmatharas takes home to the void, from both sides.
Final Decision Made In Vhys As The Expansion Nears Its End
With the war on the mainland, those on the council in Vhys has taken it upon themselves to finally choose someone to run the region, naming Lhyrin Amarth of House Vasile as Chancellor of Vhys. With the much awaited expansion nearing its end, and with Lhyrin's lowkey campaign to appeal to the leaders of each of the main houses and get them on their side, it would appear that the dark ranger's plans have come to a close, allowing the region to finally be unified under one person, rather than many, one that will hopefully keep the region out of wartime, unlike others in Lithrydel.
"Everything that has transpired has done so according to my design! I want what any other leader wants: for their region to prosper just as much as the others. To be able to take part in worldwide things, like the World Leaders Summit, and not feel less than. There is a great disturbance on the mainland and we must unite with ourselves first before we consider helping those at war, and this is the first steps towards that. With everyone's help, Vhys' expansion is nearing its end and we will be able to fully open ourselves and our culture to the world. I would like to take the time to thank those in the other major houses for their votes. Strange Sightings In The Ancient Forest
Sightings have begun once again of the Lepkemanó ("Moth-elf" for those that don't speak the Vhysian tongue) as they do in the colder months of the year. It is believed that the moth-elf goes into hibernation during the summer and comes out refreshed and ready for chaos for the rest of the year. Beware the Lepkemanó and its deadly, jewel-like stare!

Vhys Expansion Continues!
The ever-ongoing expansion continues as the foundations and walls go up for Elimdor's new bookstore, coffee shop, 24 hour diner, and a shop dedicated to magical necessities, while the finishing touches go on the Elimdor Academy, as well as the much awaited Grand Temple of Delisha!
Words of Corruption and Weariness Exchanged At First World Leader's Summit!
Lithrydel and Rynvale's leaders and representatives were called to a meeting in Lithrydel's own City of the Dead, Vailkrin, by its newly appointed (and former) King Kasyr Azakhaer. All had been in wonder for weeks at what might've sparked such a gathering, and all was made known not long after the invited, the press, and any others were settled. As reported elsewhere, King Azakhaer would declare his alignment with that of Larket, before allowing the much hated King Macon Jauzon the floor, wherein the lover of Larketian stone would make his own declarations and demands for several regions, continuing his campaign as dictator.
Several members of the leaders and audience would take their leave before Macon had even finished, with our very own Vhysian representative Lhyrin Amarth, secondborn child of House Vasile, making their thoughts known before also retreated, along with Queen Lunalesca of Enchantment and her guest, the esteemed bardess Kanna Tsuji. After showing their disdain of King Macon's religious ways, Lhyrin made known that they thoroughly questioned Kasyr's decisions, taking a more neutral stance on the subject as a whole.
It has since been announced that Queen Lunalesca herself wishes to have a do-over of sorts, calling for another World Leader's Summit. For the moment, things point to Representative Amarth keeping out of this round, despite their acquaintance with the fae queen.
