Serpent-Shaped Yew Bow - (Weapon +25 (Missile))

Description:

This 7ft tall longbow was carefully crafted over months by its owner, from a yew tree deep in the ancient forest of Vhys. From top to bottom, it's form is that of a cobra, its hood on full display with mouth agape and fangs bared. The sturdy heartwood used for it is stained an exceptionally dark green that almost looks black. Two dark garnets have been embedded into the face of the cobra, to function as eyes.

History:

Thanks to a certain dream, Lhyrin now has a bit of an obsession with snakes, though perhaps the fondness for them and other reptiles, as well as amphibians, has always been there, as the forsaken elf often makes use of their venom and poison for hunting. They've joined this newfound passion with their skill in making bows, which is typically taught to rangers (both normal and dark) so that they may be self-sufficient, to create this weapon.
