The first part of this RP can be found here.

""Summary"" Larket's Apothecary, Artia and Thronnel took the southern area of Larket to search for any of the children.

Southern area of Larket

Thronnel's eyes surveyed the action. A mage, an archer, a swordsman, and a green... thing, had joined the fight, and now were taking off in all directions, chasing down the remaining rat people. The fermin by his foot had finished dying its slow death, and he was debating going on his way when a woman came up to him. He looked her over. Attractive, for a human, and he could sense something magical about her. "Very well," he said to her request. He supposed he couldn't do what he came to with this chaos about. "Lead on, my lady." He started to follow after her and, as an afterthought, snapped his fingers and lowered the wall of earth he'd raised.

The witch moved up beside him, looking at the directions taken but the southern one. "I guess we will take this way." Off she started to walk a bit quick, but slowled down not sure how well the stranger could keep up with her. Offering for him to take her arm, large cyan eyes scanning the male again. "Do you have experience with the fermin?"

Thronnel could match Artia's pace just fine. He hesitated, but when she offered her arm, he took it. Sure, why not. "I've heard of these... fermin. I had no idea what they were until today. I also heard you were having problems with them. Perhaps I may be of assistance." The two of them headed east, towards the bakery. Outside, they saw the proprietor, Kyla, attempting to fend off the fermin with a broom. "Back! Back! Someone help!" Thronnel took that as his cue and separated himself from Artia. He rushed forward, murmuring an incantation and rubbing his palms together. Sparks flew from his hands and, thrusting his hands forward, a spout of flame burst from his palm towards the fermin.

Artia looked to the male beside her, "So you already know who I am then? I never turn down assistance, Larket I am sure would be proud to have another around." She rattled his skill around in her mind, what was he? The one warlock she knew was Desparrow, but was this male one too? About to open her mouth as they headed into the bakery for information, there was poor Kyla trying to fight the two off with a broom. If it wasn’t a serious situation Artia would had laughed her head off at the site, about to rush forward the female stopped at Thronnel had beat her to it. She moved to his side, her serpent armlet coming to life moving into her hand forming into Black-Scarab Engraved Wand. Lifting and pointing the wand forward, speaking her own words as a black ray of light charged forward taking care of one while he took care of the other. The black ray wrapped around the fermin like a snake constricting, black ooze spreading along its flesh as it pulled its soul from the creature. Once the soul was ripped from the creature, Artia looked up to Thronnel with a nod. Moving from his side she moved to wrap Kyla into a tight hug, "Well that answers what we came for. Did they have a child with them?" The female shook her head, Artia pulled away and looked to Thronnel. "What is your name?" She asked as they exit the bakery.

Pilar hadn't seen Artia's show of power earlier, or else he wouldn't have been surprised now. Once he'd finished burning the fermin to a crisp, he watched Artia hug and soothe the baker with disinterest. There were no more fermin about, no child, no time to be wasted here. Heading back towards the center of town, Thronnel looked down at the witch. "No, I'm afraid I don't know you. Should I? I apologize, I am new to these lands. My name is Thronnel. Who do I have the pleasure of addressing?"

Artia moved inside the inn, looking to thomas who seemed unphased with a bottle in his hand. "Any fermin run off in here?" The male shook his head, looking quizical at Artia, "I will come back and explain to you later. I will want a drink after all this..trust me." She turned around almost running into the male, not knowing he was so close by. "Artia, Larket's personal witch. I go by Larket's Apothecary. I am glad to have met you Thronnel, as you seem to know your way around with spells." She gave him a subtle wink, opening the door for the male to lead out first.

Thronnel almost couldn't believe his luck, running into the reason for his sojourn to Larket like this. If only he hadn't gotten swept up in this fermin business. "Artia. It's an honor. I wish we could have met under better circumstances." When she made note of his prowess, he nodded. "I have spent much of my long life studying magic. I should hope I have achieved some mastery by now." He led the way, walking with much less urgency than one would expect from someone attempting to rescue stolen children.

Artia glanced to him as they approached the bridge, scanning the area walking around as she hurriedly looked. Discovering nothing, "Aye...I have studied magic since before I could crawl." She did, but right now her hands went to her face, rubbing her visage with a loud sigh. "Nothing, lets head back to see if those others have appeared."
