- Garm are a species of large wolflike beasts native to the area under the Xalious Mountains that divide Craughmoyle from the Underdark. Unlike traditional wolves, these creatures have two rows of teeth; the first being reminiscent of what is known for wolves to have, while the second row consists entirely of sharp incisors to aid in quick feasting. With a deep brown-red coat reminiscent of blood, they are sometimes referred to as the Bloody Keepers of the Underdark in local folklore. Their name comes from the low, guttural noise they make to other members of the pack when prey has been identified. They are known to prey on dwarves and drow alike on a regular basis, making them extremely dangerous to any humanoids that cross their paths. While garm usually travel in packs, it is not uncommon to see an exiled member of the pack on the outskirts of Craughmoyle that has been left to starve.
