Description:

A large book bound in what looks like navy blue leather, with silver clasps and intricate filigrees decorating the spine and corners of the front and back cover. The pages were originally blank, although they have been rapidly filling up with a midnight ink courtesy of Satoshi's penmanship. Spells, runic catalogues, theories, results, and similar are recorded within the book. Likewise, the book is encased in what appears to be glass--in fact a pristine ice of Satoshi's conjuration, to ensure the book remains locked should it leave her possession.

History:

It was crafted by Iintahquohae as an unexpected gift, in hopes Satoshi could use it to keep notes. The magus has since put it to heavy use for designing runic layouts, working out magical theories, recording arcane information, and other such spellwork. She holds the book dearly, as she does most books. In the Ice Queen's absence, her Mansion in Frostmaw has fallen into neglect. After clearing a particularly voracious infestation of book-worms that were making a meal out of Satoshi's library, Hildegarde passed the book on to Odhranos, in the hopes that he could make use of it, or find someone trustwothy to bestow it upon, rather than leaving it to gather dust in the old library
