The dragon of the light is thought to be a unique variation of the red dragon due to it's ability to summon a rain of snow white fires upon those who encroach on it's territory. Like the red dragon, this dragon boasts a large, solid body, and massive wingspan, though their scales appear as pale as solid geodes of alabaster.

Little can be discerned about these creatures because a sentient or sane counterpart has never been encountered; these dragons are always in their beastly form, and show signs of advanced aging in the scarring upon their horns and scales that comes from centuries of fighting those in their way. Unlike their theorized counterpart, the dragon of the light does not raid other settlements in search of loot and prefers to remain in it's chosen territory unless actively seeking food. In the Dragonlands north of Port Rynvale, it has been observed that the dragon of the light will sometimes take a dragon of the dark as a companion. This is a stark contrast to it's visible hostility towards all other dragons in the area.
