Basic Info
Name: Juliette D'arcy Rennoir
Nickname: Jules
Alias/es: The Wolven Maiden, The Blood Wolf, Madame Cirque
Age: She appears to be 19 years of age, but is in fact much older.
Occupation: She recently came to be employed at the Hot Springs in Schezarade, and has a job lined up as a waitress in the Hanging Corpse once it is finished thanks to Eilyo.
Race: Forest Lycan
Class: Summoner
Hair: Dark crimson, almost blood colored. It falls to her waist and is usually kept back in a loose braid and threaded with beads.
Eyes: Moss green, but they become a dark glowing emerald when using her magic.
Height: 5' 7" while in her normal human form, 7' 4" while standing at her full height in her feral form.
Weight: 134 lbs. while in her normal human form, closer to 300 lbs. while in her feral form.
Features: Two very distinct wolf-like ears, crimson in color and tipped in a dark black, sprout from the top of her head. A long, bushy, wolf-like tail extends from the base of her spine, also crimson in color and tipped in a dark black. In addition to this, her nails are longer and sharper than average, and she has sharper-than-average canines while in her human form.
Feral Form: Her feral form resembles a much larger version of a species of wolf known as the red wolf. Her fur in this form is crimson, with the tips of her ears and tail, and the bottom of her paws covered in black fur.
Home: She lives in southern Sage Forest, rather close to Enchantment.
Clan: None, at the moment.
Guild: She belongs to the Bard's Guild.
Pack: Araina's
Marital Status: Single, no longer looking, but open to any possibilities.
Companions: A python named Belka, with whom she can communicate telepathically; an orchid wyvern appropriately called Orchid, who she is attempting to learn to ride in flight.
Alignment: More good than evil, but has her moments. She considers herself Chaotic Neutral.
Deity: She follows Hind, the god of Nature.
Weapons:
- ~Serpent Staff: A weapon she is most often seen with. The staff is made of a very dark wood that appears almost black, and is covered in the carved and painted bodies of serpents. The head of the staff is carved to look like the head of a dark colored snake, with crimson colored rubies imbedded into where the eyes of the snake should be. On the bottom of the staff is a well concealed blade, which she uses when in a close proximity to an opponent.
- ~Throwing Knives: While not a regularly used weapon, Juliette can use them with a fair amount of accuracy. She's still learning, however.
Clothing: She can most often be seen wearing a flowing black gown with a matching hood, made to hide her face from someone she may not want to be seen by. The black dress is accompanied by long silk gloves that stretch up her arm to just above the elbow, a choker necklace imbued with black diamonds, and a pair of black embroidered slippers. The gown itself has a very well-concealed slit going up the leg, only really seen when she sits, that allows one a glimpse of the snake tattoo on her upper right thigh.
Interesting Facts
~Juliette is afraid of water, and has a very acute fear of drowning. This causes her to stay away from any body of water that goes up past her waist, and while she finds the ocean beautiful, she could never travel on a boat across it. She never learned to swim because of this fear, and has never been to Rynvale.
~She loves to fly, and secretly envies those with wings such as avians, dragons, and pixies.
~Juliette has a deep love for anything reptilian, which is what probably led to her excellent friendship with Taikahn. She dreams of meeting a naga in person someday, as she's heard they resemble snakes.
~She actually is connected via her soul to Belka, and is very protective of the snake due to this. If any harm comes to Belka, she will likely curse the one who has attempted it. This connection also allows her to communicate with him telepathically (if you would like to read the story behind their connection, simply send me an hmail with the request).
~She's stopped using voodoo magic, as it drains her physically.
People of Note
Friends
Taikahn: Taikahn is Juliette's truest friend in Hollow, and quite possibly her only friend. He won her heart from the moment they met, and he's the only being in the world she would tell her darkest secrets to. It's been rumored that she has deeper feelings for the preklek, but she won't admit to such.
Lloyd: While this odd human was once an object of disdain for Juliette, he became a good friend over time. For a short while, the two even had what could have equaled to a relationship, but a lack of romantic feelings on Juliette's part drove the two apart. They speak, when he's around, but otherwise the friendship seems to have died in Juliette's eyes. This is a fact that she feels bad about. She does like Lloyd, just not in the way he wants her to.
Eilyo: Though they've only spoken in person once or twice, Juliette can't help but like the vampiress. Eilyo is the one who offered her a position in the Bard's guild, and has offered her employment in the Hanging Corpse tavern again once the place is completed.
Enemies
Ymheshphilun: For the longest time, the giant centipede caused nothing but grief for Juliette. Their fighting resulted in her getting captured on more than one occasion, and finally wound up with Juliette being a sort of slave to the creature. Luckily, a quick journey away from the bug's proximity allowed her to break his hold on her, and after his death, she's felt much lighter and freer than she had before.
Jersher Race: Due to more than one unpleasant encounter with these odd new creatures, Juliette has taken a rather calm dislike toward them. While she would never outright attack one without reason, she chooses to keep a wary eye out for one that may attack her.
Current Events
- She was recently employed by Kirien at the Hot Springs in Schezarade, and is planning to undergo training to become a masseuse there.
OOC Information
I was brought into Hollow by my older sister, who plays Teira. You can either thank her for it, or blame her. Whichever you prefer. She also helped me write (and re-write) this bio, and is constantly helping me with ideas for my character. So I guess I should be the one thanking her.
