About Friday/Saturday Night Fights
Each Friday or Saturday (depending on interest), around 8 or 9 PM (Hollow time), House D'Artes will sponsor a UFC duel for the viewing pleasure of Trist'oth and all of Hollow's citizens. Winner will receive the purse of 10,000 Gold and the right continue on and defend their championship the following week against a new competitor. Fights will continue so long as interest remains for the battles. Fights and competition are IC, bouts and results will be advertised via Tavern boards. Duelists are free to add thier own stakes to the duel if they wish, though it's not required.
The primary focus of the Underdark Fighting Challenge is fun, for both the duelists and the audience. Vendors, healers, bards, thiefs, bookies, commentators, or anyone who can just have fun with a group of RP friendly people are invited to attend.
How to Enter
To apply for entry, contact Tiphareth via Hmail, if you are generally unknown as a fighter, please include a base descripton of your skills. A worthy opponent will be chosen each week to face the champion, if you're not chosen right away, be patient, your turn will probably come in due time. There is no entry fee to compete. If sufficient interest is shown, more fights for lesser gold may be added to the lineup, including play-in fights to decide who will face the champion. If the champion does not show up at the fight time, another combatant will be chosen in their place.
Rules of the Arena
- - Three judges, agreed to by competitors before start of duel. Majority vote wins.
- - Number of Rounds and Round time to be announced at duel time.
- - Special conditions may be set up for the combatants at duel time to make the fight more interesting.
- - Light contact / mild control allowed
- - No godmodding / autohits
- - Items on the ground are available for duelist use if they so choose
- - Magic, melee, and ranged attacks are all allowed.
- - Venue RP is both allowed and encouraged by spectators so long as they don't physically interfere with the duelists.
