Description:

An uncommonly large blue- and violet-hued jeremejevite crystal tower of perfect clarity, its top carved into the shape of a star, the Stella Maris is an extremely sacred object to the Seaborn peoples and is believed to be one of three magical items left behind on Selen (now'Selene') Island when the goddess Selene abandoned it aeons ago.

Magical Power:

Primarily, "finding that which is lost", be it a physical object,, a person or something more abstract like a feeling or state of being. However, the actual path of finding that which is lost, as guided by the stone, is said to be transformative in itself, and some speculate that this may be the Stella Maris' true power. It is also believed that the Stella Maris will not shine in the presence of evil.

'History'

The origin of the Stella Maris is shrouded in mystery. Several conflicting myths describe its creation, though all concur that it was once in the possession of Selene, goddess of moon and sea. Legends among the Seaborn say that the Star of the Sea can neither be stolen nor given away unless the stone itself wills it.
