Description:

First, it is enchanted to be nigh-indestructible. Stone is dense and heavy, but it can’t cope with stress like metal can, so this is critical. But the main boon it is enchanted with, is hinted at by its name. The Piecemaker. It is especially good at breaking things. Floors, walls, doors. Sticks, stones, bones. And maybe some hearts as collateral damage.

History:

A massive axe with a wedge-shaped head of marble sitting on the top of a long wooden handle. As good at crushing with the poll as it is cleaving with the bit. Crafted for Mathollak by the best and brightest of Larket’s Arcane Smiths as a reward for becoming the Hero of Freedom. There was a defect in the manufacturing process that sent cracks from bit to poll. Somehow making it deadlier.
