Selene Island, nestled between Cenril and Rynvale, boasts many natural wonders and mysterious tales. Its shores are adorned with intricate mangrove forests, offering both sanctuary and mystery. At the heart of the island, an inactive volcano rises, now teeming with vibrant flora that paints the landscape in hues of green and gold.
But it is not only the island's natural beauty that captivates; it is the stories of its inhabitants that lend an air of intrigue. Selene Island has become a haven for refugee witches who sought solace and safety in its hidden coves, their presence weaving a tapestry of magic and resilience. Amidst the whispering mangroves and beneath the gaze of the two moons, these witches have found a new home, nurturing their ancient arts and forging a community bound by shared experiences.
But the island's secrets run deeper still, for hidden amidst its uncharted depths lies a secretive lycan pack. Beyond the mangroves and veiled by the shadows of the island’s summit, this pack dwells, its members living alongside the untamed wilderness. These lycans are reclusive and most outsiders who have managed to make contact with them claim they are more feral that not.
History
Selene Island, a long-standing piece of land between the coasts of Cenril and Rynvale, had long been considered uninhabited, and only known for its ancient ruins. However, recent events have changed this as well as revealed a different reality.
After the Larket incident, numerous witch refugees fled to Cenril for safety and political asylum. Among them were the Witches of the White Owl, an ancestral coven from the Isle of Uireasa. With seemingly no other inhabitants on Selene Island, many witches chose to establish their settlements and places of worship there.
Unofficially, the island has long been considered an extension of Cenril, although no documented claim of territory has ever been made by either Cenril or Rynvale until the arrival of witches.
