RP:Korike tells Teira about the Dark Phoenix

Purpose:Korike tells Teira about "The Dark Phoenix"

Synopsis:The Jester tells his Wife about "The Dark Phoenix" he saw the other day.

Participants:Korike, And Teira

Korike does join her, and shrugs. "It was alright." He then remembers something from the other day. "Oh! A couple of days ago...I saw a black phoenix!"

Teira quirks an eyebrow, as the immediate thing that comes to her mind is a giant bird made of black fire. "A black phoenix, huh?" she asks, clearly interested.

Korike nods. "Yeah...I was exploring around the mountains, and I just saw it there in the sky. The phoenix landed nearby, so I went to have a look. I hid behind a tree so I could watch it without being seen. The phoenix had lava dripping from its eyes and beak!

Teira blinks, "Wow...it actually sounds a bit terrifying..."

Korike nods. "To be honest, I was a little afraid. The creature then seemed to transform into a woman, but, she appeared to be on fire, even though her flesh wasn't burning. A lion then came charging at her. She turned back into a phoenix, and swallowed it in one gulp! I had accidentally moved from my hiding place...and she spotted me..."

Teira looks him up and down, hiding a smirk. She thinks he's making all of this up, "Well, apparently she didn't find you much of a threat. You're still alive."

Korike nods. "She flew over to me, landed, and just stared. Her closed beak nearly touching me. Then...she just flew away."

Teira stares at him for a few more moments, the smirk slowly making its way to her lips, then bursts out laughing, "Oh, yeah right! Nice try!"

Korike smiles. "I'm not surprised that you don't believe me. I doubt I would have, either, if I hadn't seen it myself." The gnome then starts thinking about something.
