This is a Healer's Guild RP.

House of Ara

Joan was leaning against the receptionist desk, chatting away with Mei over cups hot tea for her and coffee for the elf this afternoon, the vampiric healer and necromancer just shooting the breeze and relaxing, catching up with clinic gossip. Quite laughter heard coming from the two women as others moved about the clinic going this way or that.

Qindrephyss made his (today) way through the woods until he found what he was looking for- the Guild. A smile made its way across his lips as he examined the interior once he had passed through its lavish doors. While he personally prevered underwater homes, he appreciated the aesthetic. The sound of ladies laughing was pleasant to him- it was nice that a place like this, which had the potential to carry such sorrow inside, felt warm and peaceful so far today. For the time being he kept a bit of distance- he wanted to take an opportunity to examine the place, given he hoped to spend much more time here learning.

Joan sent a look over her vested shoulder once Mei paused, both women looking towards the stranger standing not to far from the entrance, Joan would offer a friendly wave, not knowing if the man was a visitor, clinic patient seeking help, or one of the newer novice healers. Thou Mr. Fennigan would clear the matter up post haste as he made his way over to the male to inquire about why he was here and if he needed help in anyway as Joan finished off her tea and Mei moved to the center of her desk area to begin going through her paperwork.

Qindrephyss greeted Mr. Fennigan warmly on his approach, and explained that he had come in as a novice. He explained how he had met Penelope and worked with her to show his aptitude for healing. He ended by expressing his desire to learn more- which is why he had come.

Joan would make her way over once Mr. Fennigan held his hand out to the other in way of greeting and welcoming the newer novice. As Joan paused near the two men she’d offer a welcoming smile and wave of her hand as she introduced herself. “Hiya! I’m Joan, one of the healers here on staff and with the guild.” The front of her shirt was unbutton enough to show off her guild badge she chose to wear on a pure silver chain around her neck. “Who might you be?” She asked in a friendly tone as her voided gaze looked the fellow up and down in a polite but curious manner.

Qindrephyss offered a bright smile, and raised his own hand in greeting. "I am Qin, or if you prefer, Physs." He smiled. He didn't typically give his full name- non-dragons had a terrible time trying to reproduce the sound of it. It was better not to embarass them in such a way. "I am.... an acolyte, I suppose? I met with Pen very recently, and have joined your ranks in hopes of helping to make a difference."

Joan took the offered hand and gave it a good firm hand shake, up and down twice before letting go and then making a gesture towards the west end of the clinic. “Alright cool, I was about to start my rounds in the teaching clinic, if you would like to follow me and we will toss you into the fray, mostly it’s just general bruises, small to minor wounds/cuts, upset stomachs, etc, etc. They don’t like us handling the really bigger emergency cases by ourselves just yet till we can prove we can take care and patch up the minor stuff first.” She nods to Mr. Fennigan and his takes over going over the basics of clinic duty as Joan leads the way towards the west end wing. It is also stressed that one needs to always disinfectant and wash their hands before and after treating a patient so not to spread germs.

Qindrephyss nodded and kept pace behind Joan. "That is understandable. An inexperienced hand making things worse for someone already suffering would be," he paused to think of a polite way to say it, "unfortunate." His attention then turned so that he could listen to Fennigan as he described the duties and what all he needed to know.

Joan pushed open the swinging double doors that leads into the teaching clinic, already plunged into what seemed like controlled chaos, Joan would nod, wave or say a friendly hello to everyone she knew and greeted the amethyst colored hair vampire as she lead the way towards where the clean lab jackets where and the hand washing station for the staff, grabbing the nearest lab jacket off one of the hanging hooks she’d slide into it and dig out her name tag from her tailored pants pocket and fix it to the small tag on the front left hand side before moving towards the hand washing station. It was now Mister Fennigan’s turn to show and tour Qin around the busy clinic floor while dodging busy healers and patients. With Qin safety under Mr. Fennigan’s watch the vampiric healer took the first chart offered to her by frazzled looking ward charge nurse and swiftly move to follow her as she explained the case to the amethyst colored hair woman.
