Description:

A weapon of mutable nature. Typically residing in the easy to store form of a mere sword, it can shift into any number of different shapes depending on the commands input into it. These are limited by runic commands and there are only so many possible configurations. As well, the simple nature of the weapon is a weakness to it. It carries no enchantments, nor can it be imbued with one, as its changing nature would reject them. The forms are also limited by the amount of mass it possesses, and is not easily changed or added to, even outside of battle. Because it is command driven, complex shapes are impossible to replicate in the weapon's current form. On the upside, the weapon is versatile, and always keeps its edge due to how it can simply reshape itself when damaged.

History:

This weapon was originally meant to be the fate of a certain blob, but as Ranok hadn't had the heart to destroy the creature, he settled for a much simpler version of it instead. A splice taken from it and worked over with what skill he possessed in runes, the resulting weapon is of a similar nature of what he originally intended, but much less versatile or able to swiftly adapt as he'd wished.
