Another basic variant of the cakelog, the marble cake is simply this: chocolate and vanilla batter swirled and baked together in the same pan. The filling can be any sort of jam or frosting (whether vanilla or chocolate) and the top of the cakelog decorated to either the baker or buyer’s (in cases of special orders) taste.
