About the Weapon
Resembling a shorter sort of spear, the javelin can be used as a melee weapon, but its' intended purpose is to be thrown. A common weapon on battlefields, javelins are often thrown into a cluster of soldiers, surely spreading terror through opposing armies. Though not as effective in one-on-one combat, it is not entirely useless there; some can be hidden behind a shield until they are ready to be thrown, offering an opponent little time to react to a previously unseen weapon.
