Description:

The cunning, elusive jackalope resembles a large hare with horns like that of an antelope, although one species has miniature deer antlers instead. Known for easily eluding irate Rynvalian farmers, the intelligent jackalope also delights in playing pranks on would-be hunters. When cornered it becomes extremely hostile, targetting the legs of predators with the sharp points of its horns.

In a captive environment it makes a surprisingly loyal companion animal, though it’s likely to revert to its prankster ways if denied treats or allowed to become bored.

Abilities:

The jackalope is an excellent mimic and can even reproduce the sound of human voices, especially singing which it is rumoured to enjoy.
