Dubiously Crafted Stuffy Doll - (Pet)

Description:

A pet, supposedly crocheted from yarn spun out of a gryphon's mane, this miserable looking tiny creature is the perfect assistant. Not actually alive, but a suitable facsimile, it quickly becomes the master of whatever workshop, factory, laboratory, or apothecary, memorizing the names and locations of all ingredients, tools, and supplies. It won't ever look happy to help, but it will do so quickly. Just mention the name of the item you're looking for.

Once its new owner is recognized, it will bond to them, look up to them, and revere them. Seeing them as a role model, it will amend itself with embroidery or scraps of cloth or pieces of jewelry in an attempt to look just like the one it serves.
