Vailkrin Arena Championship Fighting is a monthly melee duelling event organised by the Arena Manager (position holder currently being decided by event contest, details coming soon).

Champion of Vailkrin is not simply a title. It is also a position of great respect and authority in the city, and the Champion will be responsible for training the Vailkrin City Guard in melee combat as well as attending national events where possible.

• It not necessary for Contenders to be citizens, though a luxury apartment will be available for those who hold the Champion title.

• The Champion will win 10,000 gold per monthly Contender battle and a bonus of 20,000 on their sixth successive win.

• In addition, there will be a Champion's Ceremonial Torque awarded as a symbol of status.

In order to become a Contender, your worthiness must be decided by battle in the weekly Vailkrin Arena matches. The fighter with the most wins in any month automatically becomes that month's Contender. Contenders recieve 3,000 gold for achieving Contender status.

• The Contender is the only person eligible to fight the Champion for the title.

• In the event of a Champion's death or disappearance, the title becomes open to the top Contender at the time, and the person with the next greatest number of wins.
