Name: Kor'Deth [House name, removed.]

Aliases: Hermit, Witch Doctor, Old man.

Race: Half-Drow, Half-Elf.

Class: Witch Doctor

Eyes: Dulled Red

Hair: Long White Matted Hair

Skin: Aged Pale Skin

Age: Looks to be around his early 50's (Appearance wise) Age wise, he's into the four digits.

Heavy cloak and garb that disallows anyone to easily see anything about him.


Kor'Deth's Biography:

A story was once told to a young Tysinni by that of the old man, Kor'Deth. He spoke to her in riddles, he spoke to her in rhyme, and he told the little child exactly what was on his mind. He wanted her to change, he wanted her to differ and he wanted to make sure, little Tysinni would not become like him when he was of her age. This, is the story he once told that very young child.

Little Tysinni, you would like to hear a story? One of heart ache and woe, something of tragedy around every corner with little to no upbeat moments? The story I present you is of a curse, a man, one who was named Eternal Curse, who had his own house name removed because he was an embarassment upon the family. Listen young Tysinni, for his story is not much better then your own.

Once, there was a child, born to two races, the drow and the elf... It was no pleasant life, it was no pleasant childhood. In fact, it was a despicable life he was born into. The drowish father? He abandoned him, wanted naught to do.. The elvish whore of a mother? She wanted to force him to leave but the disgrace she had already bestowed upon her family was to immense to suffer that loss as well. She kept him around, as an insult, as if to boost the house name so minimally as to say, At least we left him alive.

The child was grown into tutoring, oh yes the tutoring.. He learned one thing, how to fight. Do you know why? They wanted to send him off to war, good bye young man! You're off to war to fight with the sword! You'll probably die, we hope you do, so that way you can bring some honor to our house! They traded the boy's life, for honor.. That's all they wanted from him.. And he died, or at least.. They think he did.

The story goes on, young Tysinni but for tonight.. Don't you think it's more then enough to be told?

Kor'Deth’s Capabilities:

-Age It makes him slower, he has less strength, but it makes him wiser as well.

-Combat skills Can he use them well? Nope.. Does he still know how? Yep. It was his beginning life.. And, while he doesn't hone it, he doesn't care much for it, a little of him still has the potential (Not likely that it'll ever be used) to use it.

-Pain suppression A life time of being abused, mistreated, and hated has left him to a point that pain doesn't truly effect him as much as it should. He still gets mistreated and hated so he tends to avoid drawing attention to himself.

-Magic The only thing of those listed in his capabilities that he's good at with a variation of some kind of skill. He's been at it for some time.. Talking with the dead, curses, hexes, removal of the first two, are examples of things he can do.

-Potions Self Explanatory.

-Salves Usually for healing or curing something of a sort, it's a more natural way for it to be fixed.

-Charms He can make charms, what these do is depending on what he wants them for. Usually, they act as a way to work with the dead though not always.

How does Kor's magic work?

The type of Magic

Kor's type of magic is like that of a druid however, rather then asking for the aid of the various elements, he asks for the aid of those fallen from the past.

What this means

Just like that of the druids, Kor doesn't have absolute mastery over his magic instead asking the spirits of the dead for help, just like a druid might a different element. The biggest difference being that usually he needs something to act as a medium between the two worlds, that of the living and that of the dead. Typically, you will see him use something like a bone charm, which he happens to have numerous upon his person.

How he casts the various spells

Normally, he does these spells through a form of ritual involving chanting words of the arcane, using the various charms and components, along with somehow forming the various sigils and symbols around him to activate the spell. If any of these three suffer, it usually means the spell will not work. (Though, it depends upon the spell, obviously not all will need all three.)

An example

Kor'deth stood before the powerful illusionist, irritated with the way she continued to toy with his mind. The bone staff he always held began to draw, symbols traced within the ground to start the ritual he needed to cast the spell.

Kor'deth finally finished tracing the various symbols upon the ground that were needed for the construction of his spell. The bone charms were tossed upon the ground, readied for the ritual to begin. Mana seemed to flow all around the witch doctor, encircling his form in a crazed fashion as the words were spoken. Upon completion of the spell, his staff slammed forward into the written soil, smashing into the center of where the marks were made. The charms suddenly came to life, ethereal chains suddenly bursting forth from within. Shackles aimed to clasp onto his foe's limbs, spreading them apart so that no weapon could be drawn. Chains sought to restrain the body, wrapping around it in a snake like fashion until their hole body was suddenly to feel crushed. The chains however, were not without a second part for they began to suck the mana from the person in which they held captive. The bones that acted as an anchor for such a spell happening to be the only true weak point to this spell, for none could break the bindings of the dead with magic or blade.

On a note, the two parted post was for a reason. The mass amount he has to put into it makes it take far to long for a one parted post.
