Galio is an avian, a holy warrior, and a servant of the god Arkhen.

In the times long past he was once a knight for the glory of the Royal Empire.

Galio had a love who was an elf named Adrain, they lived happily with each other till the day

of the civil war between the elves and the dragons.

The dragons had attacked the floating city of Krizar where his love Adrain lived.

Galio was visiting her the day they attacked and in front of his eyes as he was trying

to help her escape a dragon swooped down out of the sky picked his love up with one arm and

slashed his claws across Galio's face leaving a scar. As the dragon lifted Adrain up

and bit off her head and then tossing her body up and devouring her whole. In his disbelief

watching his love die before his very eyes rage came before him. He lifted his claymore and

charged at the dragon in a scream of rage and pain. The dragon quickly tried to knock him back

as Galio quickly rolled under the hand and kept coming, as the dragon drew his head back

slightly sucking in air and blew fire towards Galio. With all his might he spread his wings and

took flight dodging the fire as the dragon moved his head trying to catch him. As the mighty

avian landed on top of the dragon's neck he thrusted down his sword, and slashed the dragon all

the way down his back. As the blood poored down the dragons back he tried to turn around and

bite the avian. The avian still with rage in his eyes flew into the dragons mouth while taking

his sword and jabbing it through his mouth and into his brain as the dragon let out a final

roar it fell over laying lifeless on the ground. The avian still with rage and passion in his

heart was not through with fighting. As the war continued he fought alongside the elves

massacring any and all who crossed his path. Unfornately for the brave warrior when he returned

home to the city of Ashtaeum. He was not welcomed by the royal empire but instead exiled for

committing war crimes and putting himself into a war that they did not want to be a part of.

The angel was casted out, his wings was torn off his back, and left to walk in the lands of the

sage forest. The elves welcomed him as a war hero though and allowed him to stay with them.

However the guilt of killing so many weighed heavily on the mind of the warrior, he did not

kill out of survival or loyalty he killed because he enjoyed it and reveled in the massacre.

Galio had decided to take an oath and to atone for the sins of the war as he traveled the lands

of hollow he helped all he could and saved many lives as a nomad. Galio for hundreds of years

tried and one day as he traveled he landed in a temple of the god Arkhen. The priest there took

in Galio and taught him the lessons of Arkhen and Galio worked hard everday to help the priest

and the local community. However one night vampires and the undead attacked the temple. The

nomadic warrior told the priest to get everyone to safety and he would take on the threat.

Galio fought as courageous and as fierce as any warrior could be. The avian took as many

slashes as he was giving but would not falter. The lone warrior killed every last one of the

enemy before thrusting his sword into the ground, bleeding from head to toe, and got on one

knee and looked over at the church. No one had been injured or hurt as the warrior feel over

onto the ground his body not being able to move. He heard of a voice come over him and a light

that would not dim. He walked over to the young warrior and said, "I have not seen valor and

honor like that in a long time and I may have use for someone like you. However you will leave

these lands and serve me for the greater good of all worlds. Arkhen said from this day forth

you will be a holy warrior for me; you will be trained as a paladin by my personal guard. The

avian accepted the challenge and as he finished his training Arkhen gave him one last gift. He

said, "I believe you lost these during your time of doubt but I believe you have more than

atoned for your sins and I grant them back to you." As the god raises his hands, the Avians

wings regrew from his back bigger and more beautiful than before however they are not white

like they once was and the god changed the color to grey. As the god tells Galio, "These wings

will be grey to show that while you walk in the light it will be a reminder to you how easy it

is to fall into darkness." Several generations has passed as Galio made Arkhen's personal elite

guard through taking several missions. However the god worries about the prayers he is

recieving from the world of Hollow concerning the city of Larket and it's people scared of the

war between the fermin and shadow gnomes affecting them. To keep the peace and to help ease the

people's mind the Paladin Galio has been ordered to return to Hollow and prevent any of the

innocent from being harmed and is allowed to take all means necessary to make sure it doesn't

happen. The avian being sent through a dimensional rift landing in the city of Kelay. Galio's

memories of the sage forest return to him as he takes a huge sigh and begins his mission.
