Talk:Duel:Demelza v Hector

Hector:: I would really like feedback on this duel considering some of the judges really lacked in explaining their views on it. I was told my writing was noncontinuous when Demelza herself even changes my post (Second attack post) to make one of my actions useless (stating her kama was still in his chest when it was RP'ed being grabbed and stabbed at her)also unrealistically fended off an opponent who was much stronger than her (she parried a short sword with a dagger) and resistant to everything she used against him which was bladed weapons. I was told she flowed better and was simply a better writer for dueling. Also I was told I didn't take any damage and that is not true, I just didn't take any serious damage because of the nature of my character and his resistance to blades. He has weaknesses, none of them were touched upon. All in all I am a little upset I have lost the duel, though it's only because of the disjointed, unrealistic nature of the duel's course. I simply want to know others thoughts on it. I can take criticism well, so I don't care what is said so long as I get the same general consensus on why I lost I will be happy.
