A maiden stands at cliff's edge the dawn wind molding her modestly cut gown to her back and legs.

(the music starts with a faint back beat that grows slowly louder the rhythm like that of a heart beating a little too fast and too hard.)

As the dawn light seeps over the scene we see her attention is fixed on two objects before her.

(a lute joins in now, faint at first, mellow and yet compelling as it weaves around and through the beat.)

As the light falls upon a translucent blue scale etched with roses a baritone starts to sing with a voice that is soft and smooth, but somehow we know it could shake mountains.

"Dare to dream my dear one dare to sing my heart. A dragon lives forever but not so little maids, hold tight to me, don't let go fight for our dream. It's the heart of the fire. The thrill of the flight, rising up the the challenge of light it's the heart of the fire the thrill of the flight. As we plunge into glory."

The last word is held until it fades at last as the light touches a dagger with a crest on the hilt. A tenor sounding clear and bright after the baritone starts to sing.

"Come my dearest walk with me and talk with me live with me and love with me. It's the gentle hours, its the peace of the heart. Sing with me and laugh with come let us never part. But one sweet word one gentle yes my love and we will never part."

The lute fades and the steady beat softens and seems to falter and at last the maiden's sweet alto caresses to dawn winds.

"How do I choose whats right for me one offers peace and love and answered prayer. The other dreams if I only dare. Loving dragon or gentle knight. A sweet and tender love or a firery love of a another kind. What must I choose what must I do. A simple word a gentle life to make, fire, love, and glory a leap of faith to take."
