Research Tasks

As new lore is workshopped, developed, and refined this also creates a need to introduce these changes into the game organically. That is where you, the players, come in!

Introducing: Research Tasks, an idea that was proposed by Alex in our event survey!

How it works:

Look for pages with the “Research Tasks” tag, or pages with a "Researchers Needed" link that will direct you back to this page.

Once you’ve chosen a task you’ll need to do a few things.

1. Workshop an idea!

• What is your character discovering? How does your character discover this new information? They could uncover a forgotten tome, go exploring a hidden temple, win it by arm wrestling a mysterious stranger? This is up to you!
• Who are you choosing to RP with? We’re asking for these tasks specifically to be group efforts, no solo RP here.

2. Hmail the admin with your proposal.

We’re here for you! If your idea fits within the lore, we’ll do what we can to make it happen. This includes offering prompts, helping you reach out to others to find a partner in the event you don’t have one or are looking to try writing a scene with someone new, or NPCing (pending availability).

3. RP & have fun!

Beyond the experience of RP, for every task completed we’re offering:

• 5k gold
• A chance to get a shout out for your character on the page you helped shape!
• Your participating character will be entered in a bi-monthly raffle to win up to 10k gold!
