RP:What Goes Around

The Tavern Basement

Lorina had been sitting in the corner, alone, in the darkness this basement had so kindly gave her. A small sigh escapes her lips as she smooths out her silky black dress and then leans her head against the wall, seemingly a rough day.

Louhi practically hops from the final step leading down from the tavern above. The noise of late night drunks was a bit overwhelming after a while and the basement seemed like a good escape from all of that. The dim light was so inviting it made the witch giddy and cheerful. She skipped around the large room, her white gown flowing like a specter about her thin frame.

Lorina hears someone else enter the basement, standing slowly with a smirk as she watches the woman skip about, she moves with unique vampric speed over to the woman, with a single attempt to grasp her by the throat and pin her to the wall. It was nothing personal, her peaceful night had been interupted. If she would have gotten this woman against the wall, she'd grin whickedly and speak through an almost whisper. "Now now.... Why have you come and disturb my rest?" Her other hand would rest upon her hip, where lays a dagger hidden underneath.

Louhi is suddenly jerked off her feet and pinned. Momentarily disoriented, she can only blink until her vision clears and she sees the woman before her. The witch counters the wicked grin with one of her own, despite the pain in her throat. "I will do more than that if you do not let me go, I assure you." It was hard to speak, really, but Louhi managed well enough. Of course, it usually wasn't a good idea to seem arrogant in a situation like this.

Lorina would let the woman go... Not now though. She'd try to increase the pressure on the woman's throat to momentarily cut off all oxygen as she'd try to raise her from her feet and raise her high off the ground. Being a woman or not, it would not be difficult with her vampric speed and strength. Cold blue eyes stare into the woman's as the grin only widened. "Oh yeah?" She asked most curious to what exactly this woman had in mind.

Louhi grits her teeth as she is lifted, but there upon her lips is that same sinister grin. She would not be intimidated. However, she did break eye contact momentarily to search the room for Ciaran. The cat was taking his sweet time, but it was understandable. Just as the witch's airways were being constricted, as were the cats. Still, he shoots out of the darkness in a path for Lorina's arm. His only goal was to surprise the vampire and hopefully free his mistress in the process.

Lorina had in fact been caught off guard by the pouncing cat. Letting loose of the woman as she glares at the feline, perhaps a new target? No.... Lorina could never harm a cat. Taking a small breath, she'd raise her dress knee high and unsheath her dagger. Letting the dress slide back down her slender smooth legs, she'd now focus her attention back to the woman. "What the hell is your ass doing down here?" She asks angerly.

Louhi coughs a few times, leaning against the wall she had previously been pinned to for support. She wipes her pink lips with the back of her hand before standing up straight. Ciaran, having recovered as well, approaches and stands beside the woman, perhaps a little more protective now that danger is present. "I wasn't aware I needed a reason to go into a basement that apparently anyone can enter. Perhaps I could ask the same question of you, if I actually cared." Louhi, though she speaks with the woman calmly, has already began work on a plan for revenge in her mind. Lorina would be sorry she had ever laid a hand on the witch. If Louhi made it out of here, that is.

Lorina only grins as she advances with her dagger in hand. "And what makes you think I care for you...at all...? I was fine til you started making all that damn noise." Thinking of choking the woman again, simply because she had a purrty mouth. Lorina resisted the urge, for now...until she'd hear a response.

Louhi doesn't let Lorina get much closer. She sidesteps and maneuvers away from the wall. There was no sense of accomplishment there, though. A vampire would have little trouble catching her if it had a mind to. No, Louhi just felt much better not being so close to that wall. If she wanted to get out, she would have to talk her way out, or perhaps resort to using a better distraction than a leaping cat. "It wasn't my intention to disturb you, but what's done is done. You can continue being a rude, but you should know. What goes around, comes around. At least when you are dealing with a witch."

Lorina brusts out laughing so much at the name of her being a witch. "A..A witch? Darlin..." She takes a deep breath and smirks. "I bet I am the closest thing to a witch in these lands... Trust me." That same wicked grin forms yet again. "You call yourself a witch... thats a funny one... Maybe a bitch, like me... but I have my reasonings and I don't have to explain them to you." She continues to advance slowly as Louhi backed up, if she would not pin her to a wall, she'd trap her in the corner of the room.

Louhi keeps moving, never slowing down enough to let the vampire get within arm's reach. "You do not believe me, I see," says the witch with a grin. "Doesn't matter. You'll be a believer by dusk tomorrow. Practice your manners, dear one, you'll need them." That said, Louhi scoops Ciaran up into her arms and tosses a vial of green liquid onto the floor in one swift motion. It was a stinging concoction that burned the eyes and lungs if contact was made. It formed a wall between the pair and Louhi takes the opportunity to make her escape. All that remains of the witch as the resulting green haze vanishes is a high pitched cackling from the floor above.

Lorina was not expecting that at all. Hearing the glass shatter, she soon begins to cough and covers her mouth as she notices the so called witch making her escape from the corner of her eyes. "What the hell?" She said through her coughs as she followed, hoping she had not lost the witch this soon.
