RP:Violets birth

kain enters the building, sees Dawn, and immediatly asks, "Are you okay?" Then he notices what everyone is focused on and quietly asks, "It's happening, isn't it?" as he moves over by her head, out of the way of those with more understanding of the process than himself.

Dawn lays half supported against the wall, eyes wide with fear and pain, as she looks up to see several people make here way into the room followed but kain, which makes the avainess a little more relaxed "oh" leaning fowould at a contraction, then "oh. Know" as the avianess feels a trical of water down her leg and sets her face into a grim line of concentration she was going to need it .

Lorena with a calm look on her face quickly walks over to Dawn gently taking her hand. "When you feel the pain squeeze my hand. Don't worry you won't hurt me." She gives her a reassuring smile.

Kenneth entered the house, and at once went to work. "Alright...Where is the father and how often is she having her contractions?"

Kain feels momentarily torn. He didn't have a clue how the baby was going to be extracted from her belly, but attention seemed to be focused toward the area below her belly... Not wanting to anger or embarass his 'adopted' sister, he stayed beside her. Taking one of her hands he gave it a reassuring pat, then his eyes widened as she clamped down, mashing his fingers together. "This is happening? Right now?" he murmered, partly to Dawn and partly to himself. "You'll be alright. I won't let anyone hurt ya, or the babe."

Dawn nodding at the womans words, grips Lorena hand hard, a smile spreading over her face as kain come to take her other hand, whitch rapidly turns to a moan aa the consecutions get even closer. Lorena looks to the two males, "We should find a way to make her more comfertable. Kain go and get some pillows so that she can rest her back against them. Kenneth you must be the doctor so do what you have to do. Do you have anything for the pain?" Taking her other hand she wipes the sweat from Dawn's forehead making sure there is no fever.

"Alright.....Now.....let's see....you are almost ready, okay? You are at seven centimeters.....Just hold off a little more then....It'll be time for the final stage..."

kain patted Dawn's hand to get her to release her grip, gave his hand a few shakes as he hustled about grabbing anything soft for her to lay back on. As he returned with just about every pillow, and most of the blankets, available he paused a moment, blushed deeply, and hurried back to her side. Helping her lean forward enough to get the padding under her, he mumbled, "Didn't mean ta... uh... nevermind. This better, or ya want the blanket too? It's still folded up." Lorena seems to appear from out of nowhere, spontaneously generating next to you.

Dawn as a general rule wouldn't let a strange man this close to her, but this wasn't really the time to be shy. Lorena smiles at Dawn, "It's okay just breath deep. Take deep breaths and push." With her other hand she pets Dawns head and starts to hum a beautiful soft melody. To all those listining it sounds as if a heavenly voice is humming. The humming sooths all those around her. Relaxing Dawn to where she does not feel the pain as bad. "I hope that helps." She starts to hum again.

"Alright.....You're ready, ma'am...Now..work with me...were all here...Lorena...this man...me..all of us....Now...You have to listen to me closely....Deep breaths...and when I say push, I want you to push as much as possible, okay, ma'am?" You said OOC, "In one right now. Dawn's giving birth. Might track ya down and pummel ya later if something's wrong with the baby. "

Her face going red and sweaty as she lets out a high pich scream and fall back for sa moment onto the blankets behind her.

Getting his first good look at what was there, his face begins to shift from a deep red to a pale, but he looks up at Dawn and says, "The vamp said to breathe. Breathing is good. The doc said to push. You seem to know what that means. I've never done this before, but I know you haven't either. Now just keep doing what you was doin' an we'll... uh... do what we got's ta do." His face was beginning to turn from pale to a somewhat greenish color, as the region began to bulge slightly.

The aviness feel the baby leave her womb, relief washing over her as she slumps back into thr blankets when she here crying, the avaness had drought forth a tiny, but defiantly alive, baby girl, thought she couldn't` see her yet and hope that kain had caught her, Dawn looked at you. You gently lifts the baby and sets it gently on Dawn's belly, unsure what the cord is that's keeping them connected. His face turns from greenish to a deep blush as he looks between her legs, wondering if he should try to tug out more of the cord so he could move the baby up to her arms, or what exactly he should do. Looking around in utter confusion, he decides to grab the first clean looking cloth he sees and wipes the majority of the blood off the baby. "Uh. It don't look like it's got a pisser, so I'm thinkin' that she's a girl. I'd hand her ta ya, but she seems ta be on some sorta tether cord er somethin'... and yer spot's still leakin' blood. What am I supposed ta do now?"

Dawn looks up feeling the baby being placed on her belly, Instinctively the avainess reaches for her baby, scooping her up in her arms to gaze down her falling in love with in an instant, dark curls framing her face, even thought they were matted with blood. "she's beautiful " whispering softly tears filling the avains not paying any attention to kain or the cord which was still attached Dawn told you, "hand me a blanket would you..and a knife if ouy have one."

kain smiles and sighs in relief. "Okay. Glad that's over." Glancing around, he snatched up a bed sheet, and began wiping the blood from Dawn's inner thighs. Then he paused, took hold of the cord and pulled lightly. "Uh... looks like there might be more in... Dawn? I think ya might need ta do the push thing again. Seems there might be another in there." Bewildered by how something so comparitivly large could come out of something so small, he was really confused on how anything more could be inside, but there certainly seemed to be. Placing his hands in position to catch whatever else might come out, he looked up and said, "Need ta push again, Dawn. Think there might be another in there." You keeps one hand ready to catch whatever else might come out, and reaches over to the extra blanket, partly unfolding it, as he passed it to Dawn, then carefully passed her a small knife he used for eating. While too small to be considered a dagger, the blade was keen.

Dawn stears at him, "there can`t be..it might just be the after birth" kain placing the baby vary carefully on the blanket. And keeping the knife as far away from the infatnt as possible. The aviness gives a push and out comes the presenter "just wrap it up" seeing kains faces as he caches it. Before turning to take up her daughter "woukd you like to cut the cord kain" nodding to the knife

You 's eyes grow wide and he dras his head back in suprise as he catches the afterbirth. "Uh. It's not a baby," he utters, then quickly bundles it up in the pillowcase he used to wipe off the baby. Looking between her legs again, he looked up and sighed. "Now I think that has to be all of everything that's coming out." Wiping his hands as best he could, he took back his knife and looped the cord. The sharp three inch blade severed it cleanly, and he wiped the knife clean. "Think it's hungry, or maybe thirsty... Ah... hmmm... I dunno if'n I gots anythin' fer it." Frowning, he glanced down again and asked, "Think I should try ta bandage yer spot, or...?"

Dawn looking extremely tired, lays back in the blankets. "I didn't` think so..one baby is enough "cuddling the snuggle wrap newborn to her cheek "watching kain cut the cord attaching the baby to the after birth. "are you hungry my love?"as the baby scrows up her eyes and strats waling "here you go" letting the baby suckle, hoping this wouldn't be to embarrassing for the kain "no no, it will stop..come and sit with me"

kain smiles and blushes a little, but after everything that had just happened, seeing the baby happily enjoying her first meal, and the relief on Dawn's face was more than enough to dispell any embarasment. Sitting down next to Dawn, he watched the tiny newborn and chuckled lightly. "Well," he said in a soft voice, "I see why it's private now. But still, I'm glad I was here for you. Have any thoughts as to what you're yer gonna call her, yet?"

Dawn smiles, her eyes starting to \droop from tierdness " its not the most glamorises way to enter the world..I have to it admit, but thank yoy you for being here for me. Brother " lifting the now sleeping newborn into her arms the avainess lays back looking down on the infant a smile spreading over her face "I think I will call her Violet. after the flower. What do you" but before she coukd get the words out the avianess was asleep violet nestled in her arms.
