RP:Valor helps Alastair

From HollowWiki

Location: Blackstone Dungeon.

About a day after Alastairs duel with the vampire, Xzarren.

Alastair peered out of the eyes slit the iron maiden had to offer, and tried to shrug, though the spikes ripping through his flesh from both sides made it a little hard. Stuck here for a whole day... Well, this was the slightest bit unpleasant, he'd yelled once or twice, but he honestly didn't expect to get out of here soon. The constant blood pouring from the bottom didn't help anything. His blood kept regenerating, continually pouring down the drain next to the device. He shivered, making the whole thing shake. What the hell, why not, " Hello?! " He laughed a bit wickedly, curious if he'd be here long enough that his magic, holding his form together, would stand. He loved being undead, any time he got screwed up, the magic tethering him to the world would completely regenerate him in a week or so.

Valor kept hearing screams or yells and she followed them once she arrived in the city. Slowly she appeared and looked around carefully to make sure she wasn't in any danger. The centaur comes into view of the Iron Maiden and looks at it with both her Jeweled Daggers held in her hand. She really didn't have an other weapon besides a bow and that would do little good in this confined area. She was already on edge having to be inside a building, let alone underground.

Alastair laughed again, it would probably bring a shiver down the spine of mostly anyone sane. " Well... " His voice rang out, muffled, but it was still clearly his. " Seems we could have met under better circumstances. " The spikes effectively kept him from healing, it would be torture if he couldn't stomach pain. But gods had he been sliced and chopped a million times over. Maybe even impaled on spikes once or twice. " So, what would I be paying the madam to get me out of my... Sleeping accommodations? " A Little dagger held it close, normally he could have opened it himself, but the magic that would heal his muscles was more concerned with the humongous holes in him.

Valor really did shiver and the result could be seen on her skin. Wearing her hair up in a bun, she finally recognizes the voice and edges closer, "Well well, seems we have gotten ourselves in a predicament." She smiles and laughs a bit, while she looks the whole situation over, finding it quite amusing. "What is it that you can offer me. Surely someone such as yourself could have gotten out of this container on his own."

Alastair took a few moments, and chuckled from inside the casket like torture device. " Well, interesting way to put it, " He looking down at his body in the device, and pushing his head slightly back on the spike, drew a twitch, causing more blood to spill out. " I would, but that Vamp did a number on my muscles. How about... " He thought for a moment, " I won't offer anything of worth, knowing how my head works. So just name the price, I'm not really in a position to refuse, now am I? "

Valor smiles, "When the time comes and I need your help, you will come when called upon. That is what you can give me. If this is something you can do, I will let you out." She stood there, waiting for his reply, knowing fully that he may not stand up to his end of the bargain. But it didn't really matter to her.

Alastair grinned from behind the metal, but it wasn't malicious, " An interesting deal. I definitely honor my deals. And thats more then reasonable to keep me from bleeding out in this damned thing. " He winked from the slit, just barely showing his shiny blue eyes. " I'm all yours when you need. "

Valor didn't like it when others winked at her. It made her feel funny, but she went ahead and moved the small dagger, opening the iron casing. She took a few steps back and dropped the dagger, then shattered the blade under her horse shoe'd hoof. "There. You are free to do as you please now."

Alastair slumped out of the device, hitting the floor face first with a sickening wet thud. He slowly pushed himself up, looking to her, his nose caved into his face with that nice little face plant, and it would take a minute before he could stand properly. So for the moment, he just layed on the floor, looking up, and finally, as he stood. " Why thankyou Miss Valor. " Holes had cut through him, staining his white outfit completely red. Looking down, he sight slightly, " I don't like my new fashion, red doesn't suit me. "

Valor was lucky to have been born with a strong stomach, but that is what you get when you are born to be a warrior and lover of tanning and butchery. "You're welcome. Lucky I came along too and I don't want to know how you go in there, but lets not try it again, hmmm?"

Alastair nodded quickly, he rolled his shoulder, and a few wince worthy cracks let free from him. " Seems like every time I get stuck in something like this, I end in debt to someone. " He looking himself over, messing with his clothing for a moment, " I'll make sure to try. But I'll gladly pay you back for this, just speak my name. Undeads tend to have a nice connection with it. "

Valor cringed at all the cracking and popping of bones. She really didn't like it. "Oh don't worry. I'll make sure I get my use out of you someday soon. For now, you need to worry about your well being and looks."

Alastair chuckled at how squeamish she was, finally he stopped his body check over though. " Well, give me a week, and I should be good as new, I may need to sew a few of these holes up to speed up the process. But otherwise, I should be completely fine. " He looked to the ground, " I'll be needing to get my magic renewed though too if I want to do anything more like this. "

Valor said, "I don't know about you, but I hate being in places like this. If you want to talk or take care of yourself more, I will be outside where I belong. " *she turned to make her way back up, her walks still like a high step prancing. Course, it all comes from the draft in her.*

Alastair shrugged just a little, figuring what would lead him next, he shrugged though, just letting himself explore the rest of the dungeon. But soon enough he was on his merry way.
