RP:Tysinni is a Monster and Didn't Know it

Kelay Tavern

Eilyo sauntered into the room like always, immediately turning after crossing the threshold towards the board. After scanning the notes there, with very little interest, the woman turns and inspects the room. It was late and only a few patrons lingered around, mostly the alcoholics who had to be forced out at some point by Mesthak, but not yet. With a soft sigh, Eilyo makes her way to the bar, gingerly taking a seat there on an empty barstool. Once seated, she crossed one slender, half-naked leg over the other, idly tucking a loose strand of burgundy back from her pretty face as she orders a glass of rum. Glancing over her shoulder, the woman then proceeds to watch the nearly empty room in the hopes of something happening tonight, though she didn't expect much.

Celinia wasn't far behind Eilyo, in fact she was behind her enough to catch the door- and being in her own little world, caught it with her face. "Sonuva..."The rest was cut off once the door closed. A flushing, blond headed woman pushed the door back open and she quickly stepped inside before moving to the bar, muttering something along the lines of ' I need to watch where the door is next time."

Tysinni slid through the door looking much cleaner and put together than she had earlier in the day. Hand-me-down clothes and a bath had done much to improve the half-elf's appearance. She didn't know why exactly she had come back to this place. Except in a sea of unfamiliar, it stood out like a beacon. Dodging a couple of drunks on their way out, she slips into a chair at an empty table and looks around, staring in what is probably an uncomfortably intense way at anyone left.

Eilyo glanced towards the two women who followed in behind her, studying them both silently. Tysinni is given a curious look, but nothing more, the vampire's attention stolen away by someone else. Celinia is offered a sheepish, apologetic smile as the woman turns towards her slightly, legs still crossed. "I'm sorry 'bout the door, lass. If I had realized how close ya were I woulda held it open, eh?" Her voice was a light alto, the tones musical and friendly, with a hint of a foreign accent.

Celinia let out a small laugh before she shook her head, " Nonsense, I should have watched the door more closely, aye?" A hand is ran through her hair before she glances about the room, taking note of the people there before she turns her attention to the barkeep. "An ale please?"

Tysinni continues her oddly fixated stares, making a few patrons uncomfortable enough that they get up to leave. A frown tugs at her lips as she contemplates the women talking. She flexes her fingers subconsciously, the words from the bird lady earlier coming back to her. Maybe she was a thief afterall. It would explain the odd tingling sensation she got near certain people. As if she wanted to touch them...but not in any sort of overt way. "Blast..." She utters the curse softly, before resorting to more staring and chewing on her bottom lip. Surely if she was a thief, she could manage a few coins? But how to go about it...

Eilyo smiles at that, a soft, musical chuckle escaping past her full, rosy lips. "As long as you're not mad or anything, all is well, aye?" Her rum is set before her, the woman offering Mesthak a smile and nod of thanks while paying for her drink. The glass is then ignored as she glances back over at Tysinni a moment. She felt as if she'd seen the woman hanging around the tavern before, but it was nobody she was that familiar with, and with all the faces she's seen over the years she could just be losing her mind. Her attention turns back to Celinia finally, smile tugging at her lips again. "Awfully late to be ordering ale, eh?"

Celinia shook her head once again before looking down at the newly placed ale before handing the man a few coins. "Never too late. As long as there is entertainment and good company. " She gave the woman a bright smile before lifting the glass to her lips.

Katherine waited for a moment outside the tavern doors trying to listen intently to the voices inside as if she could decipher their races by this simple act. Upon reflection she let out a hearty sigh and opens the door, peering in slightly from a crack before sliding in, Kat's eyes rushed to the floor while tresses fell to cover part of her face. From her shaky memory of the tavern before she attempted to make her way over to an empty table, but before doing so, accidentally idling tipping into another table she had not seen. Kat slips into a chair before brushing away the chocolate curls that had fallen in front of her face revealing phantasmagoric cobalt hues that glanced up around the tavern to observe the other patrons.

Tysinni catches Eilyo looking at her and decides that maybe she was being a little to intense. She quickly stretches her lips into a what she hopes is a reassuring smile, but probably looks a bit more like baring her teeth in warning. Realizing almost immediately that she wasn't conveying the right look, she wiggles her shoulders to relax herself before adopting a look that she hopes promotes an innocent, angelic presence. Unfortunately, she happens to catch her reflection on a nearby cup and immediately frowns, destroying the look. Why was this so hard? She certainly didn't want to look as if she needed to use the necessary.

Tysinni finds her reverie disturbed by another person who not only runs into her table, but sits down at it! Her eyes widen slightly before darting to either side. Oh no! Had she inadvertently threatened someone? Was this a person who knew her? Was she simply at the wrong table? The half elf looked as if she might flee at any second. "Um...Hi?"

Eilyo chuckles again, offering the woman beside her a wink and a smirk. "Too true, dear. Too true." A glance over her shoulder is offered to the others before she glanced at her drink. With a heavy sigh, she slips from her stool, ignoring the still untouched liquid before offering Celinia a smile. "I hate to almost hit you with a door and run, but I need to head out of here. Have fun, eh? And lets hope we bump into each other again, eh? You seem like fun." She winks again, leaving a few extra coins on the bartop for the woman.

Katherine stares wide eyed at Tysinni after realizing she had placed herself at a table with another person occupying it, her mouth slightly agape from pure dread. Would this creature also try to eat her? She looked relatively normal… Cannabis? "I..this wood, on er- table is nice." She manages to spit out confusingly, leaning back in her chair in discomfort.

Tysinni recognizes the look of abject terror on the woman's face. Well, blast. She couldn't be all suspicious of someone who looked like that, could she? The half elf purses her lips together, allowing her gaze to drop to the table. It was a table. Made out of wood...the brown kind. Oh, great, another crazy lady. "Erm....yes. " She smooths down the bottom of her hand-me-down-too-large shirt before shrugging. "If you like that sort of thing, I suppose. Its not at all shiny. Or sparkly." She pauses, a frown on her face. Now where did that come from? She loses herself in her thoughts for a long, quiet moment before realizing the woman still sat at the table. "Oh! Er...do we know each other?" It could be. She wouldn't know. She didn't know anything about anything anymore.

Katherine's continued to stay wide as she watched Tysinni closely, looking for any specifics that would make her a physical threat. As being a new comer to the lands and not quite understanding the severity the creatures ranged from; she was quite a bit hesitant to trust any of them. "I don't really like it… I just don't want you to morph into a dragon or worm man…" She states rather quietly with a slight frown, her experiences not being the friendliest since arriving.

Tysinni looks quite appalled at the very thought of morphing into...well, anything. She looks down at herself, momentarily horrified. Could it be? Was she seconds away from turning into some other type of creature? Perhaps one that would terrorize villages and demand maidenly sacrifices. "Do you think...? I mean...I don't..." Reaching up, she grabs her own face, pulling at the skin as if she could somehow remove the mask. Quickly the bite of pain makes her let go of her ownself before she looks back to Katherine in panic. "Oh god! I'm a monster!" Her voice carries through the room, causing conversations to cease all around. Mesthak glares at her from behind the bar before resuming cleaning. The half elf chews on her lower lip, her thoughts racing before she speaks again, this time much more quietly. "I don't remember!"

Katherine squirms uncomfortably in the chair for a moment, taking in the words… those terrifying word. Quick tears swelled to haze her eyes as she jumped from the seat the Tysinni's reaction. "Oh god you'll eat me!" She squeaks and she tears for the door, knocking over several doors in the process.

Tysinni leaps up as well, knocking over her own chair and jumping up and down in very real horror. The lady was terrified of her! Obviously she was a nightmarish ghoul of unknown horror. "Blast! " She yells the curse, stomping one of her feet and swiping everything from a nearby table in a fit of rage. "I don't want to eat anyone!"
