RP:Tyler Captures Celinia and... Himself?

Cliff Caves

The steep path eventually opens onto a wide ledge that appears to have been carved from the cliffs themselves. This gives a fine view of the town, the plains and, to the far-sighted, the distant city of Venturil. Two towns Guardsmen are here, preventing entry to a large, recently discovered cave opening.

Celinia had the restless feeling in her bones that she couldn't shake. Bare feet bring her to the place of her last duel, the caves. She cringed at the spikes that stuck up out of the ground, one of them still sporting her blood. She'd always have a reminder of that, a minor limp if she wore herself out too much. " Well Celi... You screwed that one up." She grumbled to herself before turning to look around the open area.

Tyler :: The area surrounding the cliff caves was oddly quiet on this day, crashing waves overtook the familiar sound of peasants socializing and birds screeching. The area of Celinia's duel was vacant from any other persons, the battlefield left an eerie vibe as the two guards whom usually kept the entrance to the cave off limits were no where to be seen. As Celinia made her way into view and fell into a state of reminiscent memories she would find herself in a difficult situation. The shining sun's rays began to fade from around her as if an eclipse were taking place, followed by immense whispers of various voices that encased the mind. Before her she would notice multiple hooded figures appearing where, only moments before, nothing had stood. The whispers would grow louder as the number of beings began to increase until they surrounded the woman by ten. The approach was slow, and it would feel as if the Oxygen were being sucked from her lungs as the malevolent sentient beings continued their march forward until eventually her world would turn black as she proceeds to lose all consciousness. Upon her awakening she would hear the sound of hammers and chain collided against other metals and find herself seated at the base of a large, rusted metal cage that hung from the interior of the cave. To her right sits another, a human who has been badly beaten in the face with multiple cuts and bruises sporting a large steel collar clamped around his neck that is held to a clamp connected by a chain to the cave wall. His mouth is bound by a bloodied rag which leaves the impression that his tongue may no longer be present. Upon closer inspection the woman might find that she is familiar with the human. He is the male she ran into at the square with the battered hands and aggressive lover. He seems to be having trouble staying alert with his head tilted down and eyes struggling to open as if weighed down by fatigue. To her front she would find multiple hooded figures at work crafting additional cages and bindings. One of them takes notice of her and a dry, violently rasp voice echoes out as he moved to stand before her cage. "Ahh, The pretty one's awake is she? It's about time lass, you've been snorin' for well over the hour." The creature removes his hood to reveal and horrifically scarred dark-skinned visage with blood-red eyes of a drow. His hair is butchered and spiked in a wretched manner and his sharp teeth are rotting with stains. Eyes look to address Celinia and a crooked smirk is offered as his tasteless vocal chords ring out once more; "I think you'll be fetchin' a right price, unlike the bloody one there." A nod is provided to Tyler who is rocking too and fro with a light head. "Tell me lass, who've we got the pleasure of speakin' with?"

Celinia 's eyes dart between the hooded figures and the woman's first reaction was to search for her dagger, which had unfortunately been left at the garrison. Her gaze snapped to the left and to the right as a rise of panic began in her chest, every fiber of her being telling her to run. She was a warrior first of all, but she wasn't stupid. She fought with her own lungs as the wind seemed to be squeezed out of them before her body dropped unceremoniously to the ground- unconscious. By the time she came too in the cage, it was with a jerk. She sat up abruptly before her gaze moved about the area, falling first on the male beside her then on the iron workings in the distance. "By the seven hells-" Her curses trailed off as soon as one of the men move in front of her cage. A right price? Oh hells... She didn't speak, however. Only reaction the drow would get would be spit to the face. Not the smartest idea, but who said anything about her being smart?

Tyler :: The drow offers a cruel, maniac chuckle as he wipes the saliva from his face with the back of his hand. "A fiesty one, eh? I like'em rowdy, mayhaps I'll be keepin' you for myself." A heavy intake through his nostrils is provided as he musters the needed mucus to hawk a loogie which he promptly used to return fire upon the warrior's visage before wiping his mouth clean and calling out "Og, I think this little lass might need a lesson or two." From out of the shadows stepped a behemoth of a creature, standing around eight feet tall and weighing no less than two tons was a massive green Ogre he began popping his knuckles and snarled to the woman. The drow holds up his hand to have the Ogre hold his ground for a moment; "But I like to think I'm a kind man, so I'll ask you once more little one, what's your name? Then better yet, who've you got that'll pay a price for ya? Who knows, perhaps we can get this over with quickly and move on to Kelay." The demonic red gaze would shift from Celinia to Tyler who was having trouble coughing due to his mouth being blocked by the rag, blood splatters releasing through his nostrils with each heavy heave. The drow begins laughing once more as he moves to the humans side and takes his chin in between his index finger and thumb. "The thing is, Lass, this one spoke. Told us 'is name and everythin', the bloke goes by Tyler. Unluckily for him he couldn't manage to think of a -single- soul that would pay a penny for his release. 'Course, we might be able to get a bundle deal for the two of ya's to the slavers." His head slowly cranes to the right to face Celinia as his defiled teeth become present once more. "Then again. Public execution usually excites enough for profit." Reeling back he casts a heavy blow to Tyler's jaw which manifests an ungodly popping of bone as the humans neck snaps to face Celinia under the impact and he begins screaming from beneath the cloth with tears pouring from his eyes as his feet kick the dust into the air trying to back further into the wall for safety.

Celinia let out a growl and wiped the spit from her face before she shook her head slightly. " Lina. " Never her full name, she's learned from her past. She winced slightly at the sight of the ogre but she stood on weak knees, leaned against the bars till the fear edged away, replaced with stubborn resolve. "No one I would wish myself upon." Eyes narrow before she stood straighter, "Stop." She growled out suddenly, her voice surprising herself. She was getting soft, great.

Tyler :: The drow chuckles once more at Celinia's attempt of defiance before he turns to Og; "You 'erd 'er? Lina. Such a lovely name. Send 'Alfax off to the local pub, post the message. Sumone's bound to come for 'em. Let's see... price... price, price, price." His examination of the two prisoners begins and he once again makes insulting remarks about the worthless human and his frail form noting that no one would care to make a decent purchase on him. Though as he turns to Celinia he offers rough compliments. "Pretty 'air, nice voice... Mmm, -Wonderful- body." His devilish grin appears once more as he calls over his shoulder to Og. "Ten on the both of'em. We ain't got time for kickin' round while penny pinchers scrap about in the cushions. Three days' 'till we off the boy and take the girl to Gamorg." Og grunts before moving back into the shadows to inform Halifax of the asking price for the duo. The drow moves closer to Celinia's cage and would wrap slender digits around the thin bars. "Ye' ain't got to worry lass, someone's gonna' snatch you up quickly I'm sure. Oh, and before you make your next move I'd think might wise about it." His right index finger moves to tap on his left wrist signaling the female to look at her own where enchanted bracers now rest. "The shock's a killer."

Celinia let out another growl before she glances down at her wrist. "Well, ain't this a fine way to go." She slumped down onto her arse again, an apologetic glance given to Tyler before she looked back up to the man. " Who said I was worried?" She offered before leaning her head back against the bars, willing this all to go away. " Leave him be, please? He already looks like hell. Who'll buy him if he looks like he's close to death?" She offered, her gaze still on the top of the cage.

Tyler :: The drow watches as Celinia makes her move to the back of the cage and he once again offers a dominate crooked smile. "Ah, you worried about the filthy little 'uman?" He turns once more and looks to Tyler who had returned the stare to Celinia with a horrified pleading glance. The drow rears back and brings his boot to connect with the males jaw which knocks him out cold as his limp body slumps over to the ground, the chain pulling at his neck and cutting off his air supply. "Ain't no one worried about 'im. Said so 'imself." Dark hands reach out to straighten the human to allow him to breath. "But merchandise is merchandise. Don't want any damages, I s'pose. Whoever comes for you can have the lad, if they dun' wan't him then we will just give'em a show." His fingers cross over his neck in a demonstration of slitting the males throat wide open. "That is' if he's got any blood left by the time we get a buyer." The foul creature moves back to Celinia's side once more and kneels down to make eye contact with her. "It's nothin' personal lass, wrong place, wrong time. If we didn't need the coin so bad, I'd cut ya' loose right now. A man's gotta' eat ya' know?" A coy wink is given to the warrior as another rasp laugh emits, the drow then standing and moving back to his work area with other cloaked members of his band.

Celinia simply moved her gaze down to stare at the man, she honestly didn't believe a word he said. But she wouldn't mention so. After he moved, her attention moved back to Tyler, watching for his breathing until she finally seemed to fall into a patchy sleep herself.
