The onslaught of little Sanmichel

Tiphin steps through the door and into the shop. The bard looks about carefully, readying himself for the onslaught of little Sanmichel. Catching sight of Sophie, he offers a smile and a wave. "Greetings, Lady Sophie. How are you this fine day." At his side, the Spellsinger clutches Edeva's hand in his own, half fearing that she will suddenly disappear should he let her go.

Edeva stayed nice and tightly next to Tiphin, but did not know he also knew Sohpie. She smiles to the woman and was about to approach before feeling Tiphin clutch at her hand. The woman stays loyally close to him and also looks about the room for the children, "Indeed, Greeting, Lady Sophie.. Sorry I have not been around to be with the kids, I've.. Found someone.." She says softly, before looking towards Tiphin with a gentle smile, and then back to Sophie. She knew this woman rather well, as she was also allowed to stay and watch the kids when she liked here, or stay the night, but beds were still strange to her.

Little Sanmichel the pixie is indeed riding along the counter top on his warhamster Champion. "Hello Tiphin! Edeva!" Sophie is also pleased to see her bard friend, and the young lycan who has been staying with them, particularly pleased to see them holding hands, she suspects they will be good for each other.

Tiphin hails the mighty Sanmichel with a salute

Tiphin hails the mighty Sanmichel with a salute. "There's my little warrior! And how does the day find you young sir?" He turns a grin toward the women and shakes his head. It is good to see that Edeva and Sophie are already acquainted and his cheeks flush at hearing Edeva's words about him. Reluctantly, he lets go of her hand so he will not seem so possessive. Turning back to the pixie child, he speaks once more. "And what sort of creatures have you been defending Hollow against, young Sir? Sea Monsters? Hellhounds? I heard a story of a man that actually swam into the mouth of a giant squid in order to kill it from the inside. Have you heard that tale?"

Edeva was rather reluctant once he did infact let go of her hand. She would march right up to Sophie and give a gentle and loving hug, "I missed you, Friend." She confesses before taking a step back, and watching Tiphin play with Sanny. She just smirks, and noted how well he was with children. "Or perhaps he's saving damsels in distress, hm?" She questions the young pixie knight. Edeva would rest her back against the countertop to watch them all, she would probably also have to pay a visit to Muraski later - to quit the job he had given her. So many things ran through her mind, but alas, she didn't have time to worry, she needed to live for what was going on in the presence. The lycaness also seemed rather intrigued by the tale Tiphin was talking about - she never heard of such a thing, maybe he would have to tell her later?

Sophie warmly returns her fellow lycan's hug. "It is great to see you two, both of you." Sanmichel boasts "I've been doing all of 'em." His tiny eyes go wide at the tale of the man who swam into a giant squid to attack it from the inside. Sophie was actually present when Gylan performed this heroic feat, but keeps quiet knowing the bard will make a much better job of telling the story than she. Little Sanny is eager to hear the tale. "Can you do illusions too, like when I was a hero fighting that army of drow when you played your song?"

They find themselves standing on the deck of a ship

Tiphin smiles and turns his eyes toward the women for a brief moment, making sure that neither minded him practicing his storytelling. Seeing no objection, he sets his stuff on a counter and rifles through it for a moment. Finally, he removes a small, ancient looking harp and sets it before him. His fingers move gracefully across the strings as he plucks out the beginnings of a song. Weaving his words expertly through the music, he begins to tell the tale. The magesong creeps slowly into the words and the shadows about the room begin to draw in. Suddenly there is a burst of light and they find themselves standing on the deck of a ship. All about them there are shouts and screams as people dash to and fro, preparing for some sort of battle. Suddenly, a huge tentacle wraps about the ship in front of them. The story plays out in vivid detail, though the bard is not technically accurate in the telling, he greatly exaggerates Gylan's part in the battle. He shows the paladin leaping straight from the deck and into the waiting maw of the beast. Seconds later, a loud groan escapes the squid just before it bursts apart into millions of pieces. Sophie would know that this is far from the truth, but a story has to have a hero, right? Lowering his voice, the Spellsinger ends the song and his magic, bringing them all slowly back to reality.

There was no way she was having seafood again!

Edeva stayed standing until the room turned into a deck, she soon found herself falling right onto her back. Landing with a thud, she looks up and about the ship now, watching people run in fear. The lycaness appeared to be confused by this, and didn't move, in fear someone was going to notice her. Hearing her man sing his tale, her attention is drawn to the hero leaping into the beasts mouth. And BOOM! There goes the pieces of squid, and Edeva's face turns a green - gross! Once the room turns to normal, she stays close to the countertop and takes in deep breathes. "That.. Was exciting.." She ment it, but there was no way she was having seafood again! Yuckie! Forest green eyes look over to Tiphin with a feint smile as she is a bit nauseaus from the scene of squid blood - blue blood!

Tears actually come to the gentle healer's eyes at the illusion, reminding it as it does of her beloved Gylan, the brave Paladin. Little Sanmichel has left Champion to roam freely and is turning somersaults in mid air, a sign that the tiny lad is really excited! "That was awesome mister Tiphin! I felt like I was really diving into squid! I am brave enough!"

That's not at all the way I remember it

Tiphin takes a bow, happy that the show was entertaining to those present. He makes his way over to Edeva, his eyes seeking her's out for a moment. "Are you okay? I suppose I should have warned you about how real the illusions can be. He draws her into his arms. As always, her closeness causes his stomach to do flips and his breathing to increase. He is so engrossed with holding her close that he almost doesn't hear the voice from the back of the room. A tall man stands unnoticed in the back, but his voice finally fills the room. "That's not at all the way I remember it... In fact, I have the scar on my back to prove that it wasn't that easy..."

Sophie runs to lovingly embrace Gylan "What a time for you to arrive dear!" Little Sanmichel is impressed at meeting the hero of the epic tale. "Can you teach me to jump into a giant squid's mouth mister? I am a brave pixie knight!"

Edeva looks up at Tiphin and quickly looks back to the stable ground - ugh, everything felt so funny right now! Once she is drawn up and into his arms, the girl takes in a slow deep breaths before she nuzzles into his chest lovingly, "Ugh.. Yeah.." She groans lightly, head a bit dizzy from his strong magic. Too bad her magic wasn't anything like that! Forest green eyes lock onto the other man as she blinks and raises a brow. Now who could this be? Edeva wasn't feeling so good and wanted to go lay down sometime soon.

Tiphin turns a few different shades of red

You remembering she has other guest, Sophie reluctantly disentangles herself from Gylan's strong arms after a minute or so. "So would you all like to stay for dinner? A customer from Cenril made me a gift of some fresh squid. How about if I cook paella?"

Tiphin turns a few different shades of red as he realizes that the hero of his story is now standing before them. He continues to hold Edeva close, gently stroking her hair. He clears his throat uncomfortably as he regards the large man. "I..uh.. Yeah, I kind of embellished the details a little. But only to make the story exciting for the boy. Gylan does not looked pleased, though he tenderly accepts Sophie into his arms. He turns his attention to the bard once more and speaks. "I am not one that should be praised for my deeds... There are those far more deserving than I. Perhaps you should ask about the deeds of Lady Valiana. She would be far more suitable for such tales.."

Both little Sanny and his Brother Kassy have met lady Valiana many times. Kassy the pirate mad kid volunteers. "Lady Valiana is half dragon, she would never tell me which half though." Little Sanny's grins joyfully. "Please do tell us stories about brave lady Valiana, mister Gylan!"

Edeva however turns green

Edeva just stays in Tiphin's arms, before hearing what Sophie was going to make, her face goes green again and she can be seen sprinting out the door to puke somewhere. Oh, the poor lass.

Sophie hurries after poor Edeva, she is after all a healer. "Can I help my dear?" The elven lycan asks compassionately. Sadly Sophie has not made the link between her offer of a squid containing meal and her young house guest's nausea. Perhaps Edeva should request an alternative meal.

Gylan the great squid hero

Sophie welcomes her clan sister Arnatuile "I was just about to cook us all a meal my dear, but sadly it will be delayed a little as Edeva here is feeling a little unwell." Tiny Sanmichel the pixie flies over to Arnatuile. "Meet Gylan the great squid hero!" The lad gestures at a huge man

Tiphin sighs as Edeva runs out the door, the sour look on her face making her intentions obvious. "I'm sorry Lady Sophie, but I'm afraid we will probably have to decline your offer." He struggles with whether he should follow Edeva and help her or if she would be too embarrassed by his presence so he just kind of shuffles his feet a bit, avoiding the eyes of the paladin. Gylan watches the bard with some amusement before turning his gaze toward Sophie. "I must go, dear. Perhaps later, I can tell some tales of Lady Valiana and her husband's exploits." Before anyone can object, he turns and is gone as quickly as he appeared.

Edeva has now turned pale

Edeva reappears after a while looking a bit pale in the face, and wiping her crimson lips clean. "Sorry.. Sophie.. I don't think I have an appetite.." The lycaness lets out a soft burp before covering her mouth up swiftly. IT probably reaked of rabbit blood. She barely got out of the way for the man, as she found herself falling back onto her rump yet again! Ugh. The she-wolf let out a small, "Ow..." As she then slowly got back up to her feet, "Oii.. Sophie.. Maybe another time?"

Sophie understands all too well the problems of being a lycan trying to live with non -wolves. The healer smiles gently "But of course my dear."

Tiphin jumps forward to help Edeva back to her feet, casting a glare in the direction of the retreating paladin. "Jerk..." he mumbles under his breath. }}
