RP:Two Vamps, A Naga, And A Lycan

From HollowWiki

Summary: Valen meets a Lycan, a Ha-Naga female, and finally loses his cool -- unfortunately, on Lady Larawen.

Cenril: Sandy Beach

Leoxander was pulled back in. To that common spot on the beach where the waves whispered to him. Although he had his back to the path that led to the city, the pirate was clearly armed with that newly crafted obsidian compound bow weighing on his back, strapped across his chest and shoulder. Over the dark shirt he wore, several visible blades were strapped in a harness against his ribs. But the mask that frequently covered his unshaven features and sun spotted nose was drawn down to his throat in a gathering of fabric that could have been confused for a thick collar or scarf. Seated on the low stone wall, blue eyes somehow saw through unkempt blond hair sometimes tousled by the ocean breeze, toward the east. It would not take a clairvoyant or mind reader to see that he was buried deep in contemplation, if someone got close enough, but Leo was ever aware of his surroundings and the scent on the wind.

Valen had decided, quite on a whim, to stretch his shadowy wings again, thoughts plaguing his mind. Making his way from Xalious to Cenril, and upon spying the shore-line, he gave off a smirk before vanishing his magnificent appendages...allowing himself to plummet to the waters below. Given it was day, it may be hard for -anyone- to spot him as he fell from the sky...if it was not for the fact that as he plummeted towards sapphire colored water...a brilliant light surrounded him as he went into a nose dive. Like a comet he fell from the sky, and went straight into the water some distance away from the being on the beach whom he had yet to identify. The brilliance of the light now extinguished by the waves, one might indeed guess that some heavenly celestial body might have indeed fallen from the sky to rest now at the near bottom of the shallows of the beach. Yet, mere minutes later, a being would stride from the waters...clad in only a pair of red swimming shorts with a white floral pattern, that hug his hips quite nicely. With steady hands, he would pull the trunks up just slightly, before making his way towards the stranger, a tentative grin on his face. He said nothing yet as he approached, though as he got closer and saw the contemplation a look of concern now graced his visage the closer he became before finally... "Sir? Are...are you alright?"

Leoxander blinked out of a bit of a daze as he saw a star falling toward the water. At first, one of his more prominent sins, Greed, called to him to investigate what might be something of worth from the sky, but a rare dose of patience kept him seated with squinted eyes to watch and wait. When red hair was the first to emergy from those white capped salt water waves, his breath caught in his chest, but rather than see the tall, long-legged feminine form of elf he almost expected, he recognized the broader shouldered, if lean form of a male stepping onto the shore. Valen wouldn't see it, but disappointment read across his eyes as his pupils dilated back out from their sharpened stare, and the edges of his jaw defined as his teeth clenched in frustration. He didn't know this stranger, but that approach brought a distinct and familiar scent of vampire just as he might, in return, catch Leo's scent of lycanthrope. Brow furrowed, with a generally unfriendly expression on his stubble covered features, he met the male's gaze like an agitated wolf. Not quite ready to attack. "Are you? Or is it a bloody common hobby for you to dive out of the damn sky?" Yeah, so maybe he was a little more moody than usual, but a closer look at the dark circles under his eyes suggested he hadn't slept much lately. Still, he was the one sitting there on the stone, in a more normal sense.

Valen would most certainly catch the whiff of Leo's predicament, the Lycanthropy that is, and would seem to not care one iota about such things as he continued to make the approach, hips swaying slightly as he did. While the male certainly did not look completely feminine, those hips certainly would be, and he had the gait of a female as well. His foice would me light and melodious, full of joy and excitement at this new meeting. The question posed to him, as he regarded this new male, would cause almost a giggle to spring forth. "It sometimes can be. I like to think I do it gracefully, though I'd not mind your critique. Was it beautiful? Or did it seem boring?" Surely this one was an odd duck, but perhaps that was all part of the charm he posessed. Those dark circles would be regarded, as well as the unfriendly expression and would stop his approach at that gaze. "I'm sorry if I intruded, truly I am. Would..." He would look off to the side, a bit forlorn and dissapointed that he felt his presence may actually be unwelcome. "Would you like me to leave you alone...?"

Leoxander could only just stare hard toward Valen for several moments at that question. The pirate wasn't oblivious, nor was he really prejudice. But he wasn't sure he had the spirit or the patience for such a optimistic nature, right now. "It was bloody fabulous..." Sarcasm obvious in there, perhaps an unkind jab mixed in, but his voice was monotone. To each their own, and this character was definitely unique. It was not entirely surprising that for a brief moment at a distance he had mistaken the male for his elf. But truthfully, vampire or not, Valen had done nothing wrong. And even if Leo was not the best with company, that last question drew a sigh from his large nose. "It ain't my beach. I'm just.... tired. Jus' don't be think you're gettin' a bite out of anythin' here, savy?" He was just putting that out, giving a sidelong glance at the vampire who had roamed fairly close to an armed and brooding lycan. "What the hell were you even doin' out there?"

Valen's heart would sink, sarcasm being the bane of his existence as he tended to take things more to heart then what he probably should. At the words though following, a small smile would tug at the corners of his lips as those piercing blue eyes would stare right into Leoxander's own. "We all get tired silly...But it's okay." The comment about taking a bite out, would actually leave the male with a hint of embarrassment as he revealed softly "I..try to not feed off of others. It's wrong to do that without their permission, and even then, to me someone willingly giving a part of themself to you that is so precious to their life, well, such an action is one I deem to be intimate in nature, and we just met." Realizing that he probably just made things awkward, he would quickly recover. "But no, no bites here." Ah, and now the heart of the matter why Valen was out at Cenril. "Well, I come here to think. I like to swim, I like to just lay out in the sand, and let all my cares go. Something that seems to be hard, as of late, but.." A sigh of exasperation as the smile melted into a simple deadpan stare "Let's face it, I'm out here to try and forget things." It wa snot an abrupt stop, more than likely if the man wished to hear the Vampire would tell him, though Valen could tell that this one had his won things to worry about and may not be very sympathetic, nor interested, in his issues.

Leoxander was well aware that he was just called 'silly'. He decided to overlook it, for now. Valen would get one free pass on a nickname like that. "Well yer definitely like no blood su-... vampire I ever met." And he had known quite a few in his years. One in particular very close, for a half dozen years. A moment of silence might settle between them as the red head opened up, and then Leo might even to a little of that of his own after another sigh. "You an' me both, mate. It's a good place to try to forget. But you never really can." He started to lose some of his agitated expression, a little less tense or apt to draw a blade from his collection as the seconds passed. Then he said something funny, off the wall, something he had not expressed to anyone else since his return. "I never see many ships out there, no more." His gaze drifted back toward the sea where Valen had preformed that elegant dive.

Valen would most certainly not have minded being called a blood-sucker, who could fault one for an honest title? A bit archaic perhaps, but it certainly spoke the truth. "Well of course I'm not, and I don't want to be." A blink, as his left eye would glisten in the ducts. "I don't even want to be a vampire...I didnt ask for this you know." It would not have been said as a retort, or jab, or even to be sarcastic. It had merely been the pure and spoken truth, and everything about him would show that he was being honest. As it seemed though, they both came to forget the same thing, and no words needed to be said for him to pick up on it. The vampire was a master at recognizing a wounded heart, romantic or just wounded in general, though he was no Empath. He could simply sense familiarity in other's pain, and it broke his heart every time. Glad that the man seemed to be relaxing, he would dare to shuffle his bare feet towards him once more and look at him, as if asking he could sit next to him. "No, you don't. It's a shame. I used to love watching the sails be put out, the wind carrying those beautiful girls to freedom, and those strong men being so attentive in their daily tasks as they maintained and kept them clean from stem to stern. I almost joined a crew once, to be honest. Being out on the waters, to me I think, would feel even more free than flying. You can be whoever you want, say what you feel, and the only one that you ever answer to is the sea herself."

Leoxander was staring still, for other reasons, now. He had never asked to be a lycanthrope. So in that, he could relate. And even said, lowly. "Yeah. I do know." There was a scarred tattoo of a scorpion bit in half to prove it. And with that slight shuffle, despite all warning of that vampire scent, the armed pirate moved over on the wall to offer some space to the swim short clad Valen. "I had a ship... once..." He murmured without even realizing it, still staring ahead. "I've been lookin' for her since I got here." He wouldn't get that sad glimmer in his eye, but there was definitely an air of lost love in his person. "Eternity..." He just said that last word as he thought about his lost ship, and all she had given him. The ocean, that ship. They were his true love. Leoxander said to you, "I don't suppose you've seen any broken ships around..."

Valen's heart, could it beat, would be tapping out a tune of sorrow as he felt his pain, though that did not stop him from gracefully ascending to the top of that wall, and sit next to perhaps one of the few people that had showed him any decency in his time in this land. "I'm sorry then that you understand, truly." Eyes would regard the tattoo if it were visible, curiously wondering its significance, though said nothing as the next words were uttered. At his question however, Valen would nod excitedly. "A couple in fact! One is close here to the shore, and there is one that is a bit further up! I never caught the name on their hulls, but I do know where both of them are..assuming broken is meant quite literally, but I have!" If he could help him in any way bring relief to this lycan, he would do all in his power to help one in need. "Eternity sounds like a beautiful name, by the way. I am sure she would love to see you again if..." He bit his lower lip and a slight blush would come to his cheeks, but he felt it should be offered. "I -could- take you there. If you are interested?"

Leoxander couldn't help but look over at Valen. Because his sleeves were rolled up to his bend of arm in that roguish way, both that split scorpion and his nautical scar tattoo would be evident. But when the subject was changed, there was a crinkle in his brow and a slight hope in his eyes. He had scoured those shores, so it wasn't likely to be the first shipwreck Valen had seen. But perhaps... one of them. "She was beautiful. Three-mast schooner with over a dozen sails. Dark teak and three layers." He spoke of his ship as he might a long lost lover. Was it worth a trip? Most... definitely. "Anything like that ring a bell?"

Valen had to think hard, the roguish look not lost on him, but he had more important things to worry than this man's good looks...he had a ship to help him find. "Three masted..Was it, no..." Eyes would light up, and those piercing blue eyes would shine with pride, almsot as much as his smooth yet pale skin did still fresh with water droplets. "I do believe I know where your lady is, sir. though I cannot be for certain, I am almsot positive it is she." He would point out at the horizon, as if he could see it himself though perhaps it was his memory. "She lies out that way. You won't be able to reach her though on account of some fog, not by boat or ship at least, but if you flew..." He would trail off, he knew people did not like flying as he did, but this was for someone who needed it the most. a broken heart was something this Vampire would suffer no one to have. "I can give you wings and take you there." It was said firmly, though also posed in the manner of a question. "Right now."

Leoxander didn't want to give into too much hope, but those words, 'his lady'... his Eternity... he nearly sobbed with some relief. Blue eyes followed the direction that Valen pointed in, and he furrowed his brow at the idea of flight. Leo was safe in the water, but above it? He was not quite so comfortable. It could be worth trusting this complete stranger to find the love of his life, his ship, but even though he stood, he was uncertain. "Right... right now..." What condition would he find her in? Was this a trap? So many questions flipped through his mind and he tried to look at the vampire the judge him in someway, by appearance alone. A red haired, half naked man, offering to fly him into the ocean. Damn. "What'dya mean give me wings? Why can't you just tell me?" Still, he wasn't saying no. He was just... alone, vulnerable, and for once, optimistic.

Valen was almost exstatic to see the the look of hope on this man's face, and did not let the new line of questioning deter him. Every ounce of him spoke he was telling the truth. His eyes, his face, even just his very presence seemed to speak of a sweet innocent Vampire who only wanted to help. Not a trap, but the opportunity he had been searching for. "Wings. I can give you wings made out of Shadow. That's what I used to fly here, and they will not fail you as I would be the one controlling them....But if you would rather me give you a heading, a bearing, I can do that as well...I.." He looked away sadly "I understand if you do not trust me..." Deciding it would be best to give him some form of collateral, those eyes would lock back on to Leo's. "My name is Valen, by the way."

Manasa The Ha-naga had been out to sea, swimming and enjoying sun bathing on the beach. A good day of naps and swimming to cool back off. She had moved close to the shore now, when she lifted her head out of the water. Spotting Leo, and with him a nude red hair man, that was interesting. She didn't pick up that Leo was gay, but eh to each their own. Moving her tail in a whirl wind behind her she pushed herself onto the beach, the jewel that were on her yesterday gone. The tight pony tail was replaced with long wet Violet hair, her lavender lips placed in the familiar scowl. It was her natural look, she had a constant resting b*tch face. Before she chose to speak the long forked purple tongue flicked outwards taking in the scent of those near, wrapped at the end of her tail was a hammer head shark. For now still alive, tossing it beside Leo as she moved closer. Her scales fully sparkling after being freshly cleaned, "Leo." Her voice came out like a sing song manner, sweet, but with a lace of death to it. Copper serpent eyes looked up and down the stranger, moving to stand beside Leo. Her tail claiming the shark once more, constricting, the sound of crushing echoing along the beach.

Leoxander might have considered giving his name, but he was paused, by the second sighting out at sea. This time, not a vampire falling like a shooting star, but a serpent slithering with rainbow scales in rising moonlight, definitely not mistaken for his red haired female elf. Still, he recognized the ha-naga at once from the night before, and already on his feet, he decided to keep the bow on his back, as he felt no real threat from her now. Despite that both she and Valen had some predatory scent to the lycan. "Manasa..." He responded, soberly. He looked from the tall, deadly serpent-woman to the beautifully crafted vampire and tried his best to introduce them. "This is... Valen. Manasa." A look from the red to violet haired being, and he went so far as to explain. "He thinks he knows where my ship is. But I ain't particularly fond of flight." Blue eyes trailed back to a brighter, far more illuminated blue. "I really wanna find her, Valen."

Valen, was accustomed to seeing what a naga looked like by now, part of the reason he had decided to be here at the beach, and yet as he gazed at this female with that look on her face he could not help but feel...uneasy. It was not a pleasant feeling for him, but perhaps it was his nature around females normally that caused this type of response, but for now he remained as cool as a cucumber. The bit with the shark was just as unsettling however, and he almost even felt like he was going to be sick at the sound of the crushing. The poor shark.. "It's....a pleasure to meet you, lady Manasa." It was really all he could muster, though apology was abound in his eyes. "Trust in me, Sir. I...I know you do. But I do not have a ship, I can't swim that far, but if you want another means with which to go I..." Dammit all why did he ever think that anyone would ever for once, just accept an offer to fly with him....just once. Finally, it was almost like seeing a dam creak...and crack as his eyes started to well up with tears. He hated people seeing him like this but after everything that he had been through, it was getting too much. A hand would move to wipe them away, and a sigh would be given. "How would you like we go about this then. You tell me what you are comfortable with, and I will see to it it happens. On my word, sir, I will get you to that ship."

Manasa 's eyes met Valen's own, nodding her head. Leo seemed relaxed today, instead of sizing each other up even Valen seemed relaxed with Leo. With a cringe of her nose, flick of her tongue she released the now dead shark. "I'm not hungry, I can leave this for you two to enjoy. He tried to bite my tail, I did not like something trying to take a bite out of me without permission." She had no clue what the two were going on about, it was not her business either, thus the Ha-naga would not ask. Looking back to Leo, she shook her head for being six foot nine she dropped down to a six foot three. Her tail left, seemingly to absorb into a pair of two long legs, left over scales appeared to be a knee length skirt. Walking off a few feet she sat down, looking out to the ocean. "Nice to meet you Valen."

Leoxander just found it very difficult to trust. Anything, or anyone. He was working on it, but it wasn't necessarily a flaw in his line of work of existence. A glance was given to the dying... dead hammerhead shark on the sand beside him, as he stood in front of that four foot tall stone wall, but he looked back to the vampire without much emotion on his unshaven face. "And what do I have to do, Valen?" Nothing came without a price, in his experience. He wanted his ship. He... wanted his ship. This was perhaps an opportunity to get that said ship. After so much frustration. What did he have to lose? It was about then that Manasa began to shift, and he would double take toward the sight, almost grabbing for the bow off his back. Instead, her retreat caused him to follow after, and he couldn't help but take in that new lower half with a confused expression as he let his hand fall again. "..What the hell...?"

Valen was not big on seafood, let alone something that had once been the king of the sea, and could have eaten him for lunch itself. "N-No thank you, Lady Manasa." It was said with appreciation, though at the same time perhaps just a -little- bit of disgust. He had to admit though, he understood her words. Had it tried to eat him, well, there may have still been one less shark in the world with half a dozen arrows made of shadow sticking from it's belly. "It is a pleasure to meet you as well!" That was more sincere, he did like meeting new people after all and had to say he was impressed at her new legs. That, was a very nifty trick if he said so himself, which he did. The question of what the price was, built up a somewhat sly grin on his face as he sauntered after him. "Well...It could cost you all your memories of before you were three years old, It could cost you the color of your hair?" Idle teases, and he knew after he said them that they were not very humerous, and he felt like such a tool. "N-..." He looks away "No price. No cost...Unless...well, unless you would not mind just one thing for me in return? A simple gesture, a...token, if you will. I promise it will not be anything of great importance to you, a small trifle really." Gods what was he doing. He would either end up embarrassed or this man would break his nose without a single thought but yet...there it was.

Larewen had little reason to be at the beach, but she was there nonetheless - searching for someone. The elf finally wrangled a little bit of free time for herself amidst her scheming, doling out punishment, and seeking out other necromancers, and thus she decided to spend it searching for a certain pirate who ought to be well enough to speak, as opposed to when she’d pulled him from the beach. Dressed in a red bodice and black skirt, the heavily scarred elf made her way to Cenril and the water beyond. Her arrival would be heard via the crunching of her boots on sand. While Valen had seen her recently, Leoxander had not seen her since that day, and thus the runes carved into her flesh, blackened by use of dragon’s blood, would be new to him. Only the right side of her face was free of the markings. A ‘Y’ shaped incision was scaring over on her chest, courtesy of a ‘live’ autopsy. The ha naga’s voice was heard first, followed by Valen’s name which led to an arching of the elf’s brow. She’d not expected to encounter the newest of her house mates here, but it seemed that was the case. Valen received her mismatched stare next, and then lastly it fell upon Leoxander as the familiar voice, a ghost of her past, posed its query. If she was concerned with the dead shark, it did not show. Her nose wrinkled slightly, and of the three that she encountered, only one was greeted, “Leoxander.” Her voice held a faint warmth to it, something that had become unheard of as of late.

Manasa didn't even look up at him, she was trying to enjoy the sea view. Alone. Why did he have to leave Valen to follow her, ugh she should had tried to kill him yesterday instead of something like this. Why did she even will her change? 'Damnit Manasa', she thought to herself. Grabbing a handful of sand, tossing it at his feet, "I can shift, so what? Go away back to Valen." She crossed her arms, this naga was definitely not good at making friends, just mostly grumpy. But if around long enough, and earned her trust she might offer a soft-ish side to her. She looked back to Valen, around Leo of needed, "Pleasure, I'm not use to talking to people or trying to be friendly I apologize I usually look at others not naga as a meal or lesser. Old habits die hard, I guess?" She offered a quick smile, eight canines revealed in total. Two on top left, two on top right as well mimicked onto her bottom. The smile didn't fade until she looked up at Leo, crossing her legs. "Should I just go back to a tail, smack you with it?" She actually laughed, catching herself having fun she looked back out to see quickly, the scowl back. Larewen arrived and she didn't want to acknowledge another person, it was getting crowded.

Leoxander didn't recognize them as a tease, as he took almost everything too seriously. Fact was, he only had half of his memories, and only half of his hair color these days, anyhow. He was going darker blond, maybe a few grays. He couldn't remember a lot of his past. When Valen renounced the price, he stopped just a few steps out, sand thrown at his direction, and he didn't feel that much more relieved. Leo knew nothing came without a debt. "What do'ya want, Valen?" About then, he caught a new scent, and lifted his head to look down the beach and from a distance, meet his savior's gaze. The last person he expected on that same beach was the first person who had found him. He didn't know what to say to her. And despite being in range of the serpent he was still being rejected, thoroughly. "F*ck you." He said blatantly, to the Ha'naga. He wasn't any woman's bitch.

Valen was almost in sensory ovrload with everything that was happening and he started to feel like running at the sight of Larewen. Last time she had seen him, she had threatened to take a very near and dear appendage and hold it ransom. Thankfully, not the case. At seeing her however he would immediately bow. "Lady Larewen. I...hope I am not taking up too much of this gentlemans time I..Was simply going to take him to his ship. He misses it..." A pleading look was given to her, oethat showed that this task was very important to him as it wa shelping someone else. At the trade of words between Leo and the naga, he would find himself moving to stand right between the two, arms spread open to keep them seperated, and gave off a very exasperated sigh as he tried to remain his composure. Politeness was a necessity, and decorum just as much. Had he been wearing his dress he would perhaps look more like a stern woman at this point, but for now he just looked like....well...a very effiminate, beautiful, caring, yet ticked off individual all wrapped into one at this moment. "That's enough, please? Both of you?" Looking now to Leo, trying hard to catch his gaze with perhaps the very first time he had tried this, but a sort of entrancing stare as well. "I'm...sorry I just dont like fighting."Please, you are going to be in a war on Sunday. "Look...all I want...In return for your ship..." Another bite to his lower lip, as he moved his way up to the male and whispered something as he leaned up, in a non-threatening manner, then back away, head turned in a soft tinger on his cheeks once more. He...was ready for the fist to his face now, and he did not know when it was going to stop.

Larewen tilted her head slightly, this time arching both brows at Valen. The faint flush, the bite to his lip as he lowered his voice in whisper to the pirate drew from the depths of her throat an unsettling bout of laughter. Her approach did not stop until she drew up alongside Leoxander, curious as to what the other vampire had requested. A scarred hand reached out to touch the pirate’s forearm, tentatively - it was as if she expected her hand to pass right through him. Tenebrae had told her that she had not killed him, and even with the male standing before her, it was a hard truth for her to swallow. To Valen, the elf spoke, “What price are you demanding of him?” A sneer curled her pale lips upward.

Leoxander scoffed a bit at the term 'gentleman'. Clearly Valen did not understand him that well. But his ship. HIS ship... that was something he had wanted since the day he had rolled up broken on that very shore. Nothing Valen said was untrue. Looking away from Manasa, he decided he liked the woman much more destroying the deer and hissing her worth in the forest. But for now, his attention turned between the vampire and... the vampire. ...Damn vampires. That whisper came, and he gave Valen a frustrated and aggressive look. He wanted his ship, but that price was probably out of his range considering the reaction it caused. When that hand reached out for him he initially flinched, then almost ducked to Larewen's side for help. He could not do this. Leoxander said, "If you know where my ship is... I'll give you whatever gold you want..."

Manasa had to laugh hard at what Leo said to her, it was awesome. Yes! Back to challenge each other for dominate basically, which was the better predator. Almost let down he guard for Leo, almost! Almost wanted to trust him, the was strictly business nothing friendly not friends. She leaned back on her elbows, smiling more wide her cheeks felt on fire she rarely smiled prefer that way. "Wrong species for me, Leo. Not half snake, not going to happen." She laughed even at that, it barely got out! Then it happen, she was having fun, damnit! Why did she try to even socialize, good grief! Standing up, a bit wobbly as the scales spread down her legs giving her tail back, seven feet and nine inches of rainbow boa tail. The tip tapping the sand in manner of a cat would do, looking to Valen as he stood between them. "Valen, you must have a kind soul. I wasn't going to fight Leo, last night I was tempted as he wanted to get in on some of the doe I hunted. I think I am trying to be playful?" Those words made her hiss, and immediately moving back out to the water to place her whole tail back into the sea. Laying on her stomach, watching what happens next. This was getting interesting, and damn Leo for him getting her guard down slightly. Way the new female, Larewen spoke to Valen raised both her Violet brows. Oh this is good.

Valen would pale immediately at Larewen's question but would go over and whisper what he had asked for, then saw the look he had given and immediately felt ashamed at himself. "I dont want gold. I just...dont want anything. I'l take you to your ship when you are ready, no price. No anything." He would hold his hand up across his chest "I swear to you...Leo was it?" He had heard Larewen say the name. "If you don't trust me after that fact then I can't say I blame you. Either way....I think I overstayed my welcome." The words from the Naga to him about having a kind soul made him smile, for a brief moment, and hugged her tightly. "That...was really nice of you. I'm sorry I ruined your fun." With that, he would kiss her cheek before turningto Larewen, bowing with a sigh " Lady Larewen, if it is alright with you I am going to take my leave. I...am sorry that our time right now together is short. I...have to prepare for the war." And with that, he would start to walk away. If anyone of thos egathered needed him, they would all surely be fast enough to grab him but if not, he would simply continue on towards the way to Kelay.

Larewen had an inkling as to what price Valen had requested, simply by watching his expression and the change the way he spoke. The elf was not a kind soul by any means, but rarely did she do things simply out of spite either. She turned toward Leoxander, the hand that had touched his forearm raising to curl beneath the pirate’s chin. Her thumb sought purchase below his lip and, unless the lycanthrope pulled away, she would tilt his head toward her own press her mouth against his. Her only reason, as far as she was aware, was to steal something from Leo that Valen had requested, a cold, cruel thing for her to do. Simultaneously, it also served the purpose of proving that he was real and so was she. Neither of them were ghosts, at least.

Manasa jerked out of the water she wanted to ignore the kiss to her cheek, but he caused a pink flush to her cheeks. -Son of a..- then she froze, someone stole a kiss from Leo's mouth. And she got jealous! Why was she jealous!? Her face went red with such anger, lighting flick3red from finger tips to tips. "I'll see you around beastly." She refused to call him by his name, it pissed her off she even got jealous. First experience of the emotion, and it was cruel feeling. She wanted to go kill something, bath in its blood. The naga began leaving, moving past the kissing couple. A hiss given, she was upset but why? "Valen! wait up!"

Leoxander was a bit overwhelmed. The naga, whom he hoped an accomplice. Valen. Who he had been told to find his ship. And then Larewen, who had found him from the start. He was still looking toward the first of the two when Lady Dragana captured his mouth and gifted him with a kiss. No, he didn't pull away, but damn if he couldn't taste the emotion and vampire on her. His eyes blinked open and he did stumble back, right back into that wall he had been originally seated on. His hand wiped across his mouth, and he looked toward where the Naga, the Ha-Naga, and the Shooting-Star stood. Was he going to get his ship or not? "War...?" He licked his lips of the taste of a recent kiss. "What war?" A look back at Larewen. "And what the hell are you trying to pull?" This woman who had thought him dead, who he had tried to find, who had found him first. This naga who he sought alliance with, grown legs and back to scales. What the hell was going on?

Valen...had had enough. Properly, and finally, had enough. Rounding on his feet, that barechested, barefoot male would walk right up to Larewen and glare daggers right in her face. "That...was uncalled for. Just because I can tell you were unhappy at your own failed or failing relationship does not mean you have to torment others." He doesnt care that at this point he had walked past Manasa to get to Larewen, he was fuming. "You think I didnt see the pain on your face in the tavern? After I told you I would serve you, even felt sorry for you, you pull this stunt? I hope it makes you feel like a big girl Larewen because all it shows me is that you delight in making everyone miserable, a poison, that is withering itself away until there will be nothing left but that lump of coal you call a heart, dead, useless. So help me I am sick and tired of watching my own happiness be cast adrift, well no more. I dont give a damn what you think about me, I dont give three damns about what you do to me, and I certainly dont give a rats ass about who you spend your time with or who you admire but so help me, one day, of your own doing, you are going to end up with no one around you if you keep on like this. Yeah, it may not seem like it will be different, but your going to think one day 'Oh, if only there was some Vampire I hadnt pushed away.' When that day comes Larewen, I certainly hope that you have grown up, and realized that this type of sh*t will -never- bring you lasting happiness." Looking over to Leoxander, he would hold out his hand to him with a determined look. "Let's go find your ship. I'm done here."

Larewen curled her lip at Leoxander. The elf hadn’t expected the ha-naga’s reaction, but it amused her. Even as the pirate wiped his mouth of her kiss, the elf appeared unfazed. She hadn’t expected anything different, and was in fact mildly surprised that he hadn’t pulled away. Her mismatched gaze centered on Valen, Leoxander’s query left unanswered as she took a step away from him. “I don’t need your pity, Valen,” the elf hissed. His words had struck a chord, somewhere within the elf though, for the blackened runes suddenly took on a verdant glow and pain seared her body, seeking to extinguish the sadness brought on by his outburst. Her mind began to slip toward a certain fledgling lodged in Frostmaw, and she had half a mind to reopen the wound upon her chest, to show the other that she did not, in fact, have a heart. Her heart was in Emrith’s pocket - literally. The anguish accompanying those thoughts deepened the pain and there was a tremor in her voice when she continued to speak. “Lasting happiness does not exist, Valen. You should know that.”

Leoxander spoke out loud, and dominantly. "Enough!" He almost couldn't believe his own voice. Leo glanced at Valen, first, and spoke certainly. "I'll find you, and you will find my ship, and we'll figure out the price that is good between us." He then looked to the Ha Naga. "You... we will find a reason to work together. And if you aren't interested in that, so be it." And finally, to Larewen he said. "Take me home, because I need a good g'damn night's sleep, savy?"

Manasa turned and raised up to a good six foot nine, her eyes narrowed as Valen seemed to go off on the other female. Only if she had some popcorn, oh the shark! A snack while she watched on what happen next, moving to the dead corpse she placed her hands against it. Sending flicker of lightning into it, which soon looked like a glow Sticks with steam rolling off of it. She was using her magic to cook the large creature, using her nails she cut the open. Starting with the heart, taking a large bite. My, what this was, why did she surface and not stay in the ocean. Looking to Leo, he was against the wall, and she was tempted to go to him. But once again she thought, damn you Leo. The other female's words hit hard, happiness never last or was there for a ha naga like her. She was the bridge of connection to the naga god, and here she was crushing on someone. 'Wait, am I really crushing on something not naga? The hell is wrong with me? Get a grip!' She had ticked herself off which brought upon another hiss, but more deeply as it caused lighting in the sky to show its face. Followed by the drum. of thunder, "Leo.." She moved to stand beside him, looking over to him. She didn't know what else to say, a love hundred of years, and virgin. Nothing of affection was known to her.

Leoxander turned to Manasa. He reached into his sleeve of his shirt and removed what seemed to be a double twined bracelet of obsidian. Untangled, it became a necklace, and if allowed he reached up to drape it around the Ha naga's neck. Whether she wore her fancier jewely or not. "I have to go. But I expect you to find me, just as I'll find you, when we need each other." He murmured those words, before he began to walk off the beach, giving a look at Valen, but pausing to wait for Larewen.

Valen would still be glaring at Larewen but her last words caused him to sigh and reach out for her hand, regardless if she hissed at him. He had not meant to cause her pain but he was tired of his own. "Lasting happiness does exist. If you havent found it yet, try to be nicer. You catch more flies with honey." He noticed the tremor and spoke deadpanedly, still feeling the pain in his own self. "You think that you can't be truly happy? Look at the people around you Larewen. You have true friends, like myself, yes I view you as a friend or else I would not have spoken as such. You have true friends that can give you what you deserve, and you need to quit trying to force your unhappiness on others...Truly. It will only cause the pain to grow deeper. I know...that you can be better than this. I know that you can do much better....If you ever want to see my son, you need to be. I will not allow you to show him how to be cruel." It was finite, and resolute. He needed to think about Percivaale. Turning to Leoxander he would say "I apologize for my actions. We will talk later, I hope that you have a pleasant eve and a good nights rest. Merry meet, until we merry meet again." To manasa however he would remain silent. He simply would watch her as she had that placed upon her, and that was that. He literally had nothing else to say...to anyone.

It was Larewen’s turn to flinch, and she did so with such suddenness and violence that she practically ripped her hand out of Valen’s. She glared at him, her lips curled into a contemptuous sneer. “If you wish to hold your son back from greatness, then that will fall on you - it will be you that has failed him in his tutelage, because of your regard for me. And should he ever seek me out when he is older, I will inform him of that.” A glance was cast toward Leoxander, the elf’s bewilderment briefly visible. “Home?” she echoed, blinking. Her answer was delayed, but finally she lifted her chin. The only farewell offered to the others was a dip of her head before she turned to approach Leoxander with every intention of guiding him back to House Dragana.

Valen would only sigh at those words, shaking his head "I did not mean that the way it sounds Larewen. But you have your own point of view, and that is fine. I hope that in time you will see where your true happiness is, just as I know where mine lays....and -mine- is in my bed." With a wince, he knew he had hit a chord...even in his own gut he knew that was below the belt, so he added "Because I am nice to them." With that, he would spread his wings of shadow from his back...and depart.

Larewen said nothing to his words, her jaw tensing as she led Leoxander away.
