RP:Two Vampires and a Lycan

From HollowWiki

Rough Range and a random encounter

What a terrible place to travel, especially after the journey you have endured. You watch carefully as you walk, for one small step off just a little could easily twist or even break your anklebones. The terrain here is just terrible, not a flat spot around to even sit and rest comfortably. The only thing that is even remotely flat is what seems to be a small footpath, evened out somewhat by the many people who have walked along this way toward the mountains to the west. Looking up at these mountains, they stretch from just to the southwest of here, far into the northwest. A great line of rugged mountains, with very little civilization that you can see, they run almost forever to the west. To the north lies the same type terrain as is here, but to the west is a smoother mountain path. A scruffy looking human appears to have set up a ramshackle stall by the roadside. He is currently rubbing his palms together and waiting.

Shifty Albert is here

Trevalyn scowls at Shifty Albert. "You are the shiftiest man I have met yet who is still in business." Deciding not to buy any of the mans rather questionable goods, the human-form lycan turns to leave when he spots the young woman. Quirking his head, curious, he notes the pale skin and red eyes while breathing the scents of the area in through his nose. "Evening! Watch out for this guy." He thumbs to Albert. "He'll buy your mother and sell her into slavery before you know it."

Tanya glances at Albert with a slight incline of her head she nods to the man. " Ahh he knows not to mess with me. He has been rounds with me before. Plus I dont think he could buy my mother she wouldnt make a very good slave anyways. Either way good evening. I don't believe I have seen you around these parts before." The vampiress turns and inclines her head at the young man that had spoken to her.

Trevalyn shakes his head 'no' but smiles toothily, offering a hand. "Nope, I'm relatively newer to these parts. Came from… well, it's not important. I live here now and it's just grand. My name's Trevalyn." He offers a whimsical bow from the waist as if he were in court instead of the middle of the mountains. The man's armor looks scuffed with gouges long-patched and his skin is dirt but he still looks energetic. "What's yours, if I can ask? Hopefully it's not Shifty Alberta because that would make this whole conversation really much more awkward."

Tanya reached up and grasped her helm with her slender digits. Removing it from her head she knelt down and placed it upon the ground next to her. As she stood up her slender frame was able to be seen slightly beneath her armor which looked as if it was stained with blood. Her snow white hair fell gently to her shoulders. " I am Tanya Velandos. Tis nice to meet you Trevalynn."

Trevalyn watches the white hair fall in contrast to the sanguinary stains he can see on her armor. Beneath it all, she looks quite slender but he's long learned to not underestimate by size alone. Case in point, lycans. Normal one minute, rawr the next! "Tis indeed! I love meeting new people. This place never ceases to be interesting between rampaging demons, recruiting minotaur, and the glorious mudslinging people indulge in on all these little boards I find about." He notes her facial feature, how young she looks. "I love it. Always something to do. Except mine. I hate doing that. I keep getting kicked in the teeth by those big-footed dwarf-things right before they ski out of reach."

Trissayne appears from the north.

Tanya snickers slightly as she keeps her eyes on the man. " Yes those dwarf's can be a problem. I dont usually mine. I get my money from fighting the most. I tend to stay away from the boards simply because than I cant be drug into anything."

Trevalyn gives a sage nod. "Yes, I think I'm quite done with it too. I figure I'll just fight now as well. It's more entertaining that way anyways, eh?" He nods to the blood-stained armor she's wearing which, all in all, it fairly powerful looking and slightly intimidating in a deliciously dark sort of way. "I take it you're not a sloppy eater then and that that stuff used to belong to someone. The blood, that is. Remind me not to upset you."

Tanya looked down at her armor and laughed. " Oh yea sorry sometimes my fangs make it hard for me to be a clean eater when I have my meals. Well your safe from me unless you manage to get on my bad side which there hasnt been many lately that can do that. Would it make you more comfortable if I changed my clothing?"

Trissayne wandering around searching for food he spotted an old friend, before he was able to speak an awful stench invaded his nostrils. instantly his left hand shot towards the hilt of his blade. in preparation of coming across his next meal. looking around he spotted no 1 out of the ordinary, but kept his hand in place, should he need to use it. walking over to tanya as the foul stench got continuasly worst. looking at her companion "so who is your friend?"

Trevalyn quirks his head. "Fangs? Ah, red eyes, pale skin, lack of strong body oils and musk on your skin. Vampire?" The lycan emits an excited grin. "I hadn't met any and now I've met two in two days! No, no, I'm comfortable with you wearing the armor. Plus, there's no where to change out here and Albert, I suspect, would peep. Then you'd kill him, he'd rise up, go looking for me since I started the whole thing… gets out of hand. You know how it goes." A chuckle, then he smells the approach of another. His eyes look to the drow, noting the hand near the blade. "Friend of yours I take it, Tanya?"

Tanya laughed at the comment of Albert and turned her head sharply as she heard a Familiar voice. " Well hello Triss. This is Trevalyn. I just met him but he seems friendly enough." The Vampiress turns her attention back to Trevalyn. " Yes this is Trissayne he is as you say it in a way likes to play my bodyguard. Him and I also have a project that we are working on. Let me introduce the two of you." Tanya lifts a hand and grins at Trissayne. " This is Trevalyn." Turning back to Trevalyn as she moves her hand to Trissayne. " This is Trissayne."

Trissayne glancing between the 2 "speaking of bodyguards watch your back,I can smell a lycan near by. although I kind of hope it shows itself i can use a good fight." grinning the most wicked grin (dont let triss know you are a lycan, he will straight out attack you. he is still getting use to pin pointing the location right now he knows one is within 500 yrds)

Trevalyn gives the drow a nod and a curious look, surprised once more by this land. More and more the lycan is realizing he can't take any established status quos for granted within the confines of this place. "Pleasure, Trissayn. That's me, friendly Trevalyn." At the lycan comment Trevalyn looks about, alarmed, before giving Albert a suspicious look, glancing back to Triss, and thumbing at the merchant once more. "Probably him. He doesn't look trustworthy. Dirty shapechangers. I can't stand them."

Tanya glances between the two and watches Trevalyn point towards Albert. " I could agree with Trevalyn it could be Albert beings he is a shady person." A slight chuckle leaves the woman's lips as she just shakes her head a little bit.

Trissayne looking towards the merchant as he unsheaths his blade and slams it into the ground sending as the blade disappeared from sight. A few moments later 100 spikes shot up fron the ground surrounding the shady merchant. upon seeing no real reaction he grabs a hold of the blade and pulls it out of the ground polling the spikes out with it. "I don't think who I'm smelling is him ." he said as he look at the other 2 . turning towards Trev he extend a hand "'Tis a pleasure" before asking tanya "is this is the new recruit?"

Trevalyn smiles but doesn't reveal his sharp teeth with it as Tanya adds to the statement, figuring he'll owe the vampiress in a pinch if it ever comes down to it. One on one? The lycan doesn't like it but could make a go. Two on one? Good way to die of a severe allergy to steel. Trevalyn shakes his hand, blinking at the sudden display of violence courtesy of the man's sword. "I still don't trust Albert, should have seen the way he was looking at Tanya. Lycan or not, he's trouble. New recruit?" He looks between them both. "Aww, I'd feel so special! I don't think I am though since I just met you both by chance.

Tanya grins at Trissayne. " I hadn't even mentioned to him about the clan. Like he said just met him."

Trissayne said, "Ahh. That would make sense. However maybe we should talk about it."

Trevalyn wonders how much longer he can keep his nature from the sharp-nosed drow, pushing his luck as it is. If the reaction to a possible lycan is to do that with the sword then Trev's not inclined to linger about to find out what Trissayne would do if he actually found his target. "I'd love to but if there's a lycan nearby? I'm going to find the bastard." Trevalyn grins to Tanya and offers a bow at the waist, giving Trissayne a bow as well. "It was a pleasure meeting you both! I'm sure we'll meet again in some distant land,at some distant time, in some exotic setting… ideally where they serve alcohol." With that, he flashes them both a smile and trots off at a steady pace to the west. {
