Shishi the Vampire; Assasin. Neutral Aligned.

Orange [Leralynn] (NPC) - Child of Shishi; daughter

Yellow [Unknown] (NPC) - Child of Shishi; son

Path to North

Shishi and his family look about ready to hike up towards Frostmaw. The trio heavily bundled up in preparation for frigid temperatures, most of all Leralynn, the nine year old girl who looks to be hindered by about five or six layers of clothing, compromising arm mobility in the process. Her twin brother scolds Shishi after Kwen speaks, "You upset him."

Kwen shook his head at the small child, several creatures are prejudice against the naga race; thus him traveling to Alithyra several times of the week. The Cryomancer was just about to climb the cliffs with severe caution; he was planning on hunting Mammoths, Frostmares, and the magical Imp’s. The naga never seen the family before, but it would nice to create allies and such, or just friends?

Shishi 's son waves weakly to the naga and puts on a stupid, apologetic grin. "Hi... I'm Yellow." the colorful nickname is given instead of the boy's less preferred real name. The odd ability the boy has been 'cursed' with that allows him to communicate perfectly with any manner of beast might shine thought here when he moves past introduction and asks while pointing northward, "This is the way to Frostmaw, aye?"

Kwen’s eyes widened at the statement. If they were traveling to Frostmaw then maybe the naga could travel with the family. Kwen’s love of killing living creatures could, no, would, be dismissed only because these creatures before him were sweet and innocent. The Cryomancer glanced at Shishi and the back at the two children, although not looking at the vampire, he was referring to him, “I am traveling to Frostmaw as well. Maybe I could come along?” Kwen would like to travel there only until they once reached the abandoned camp of elves that were threatened from the treacherous drow’s.

Shishi looks back towards and the pair makes eye contact as if the vampiric father is seeking permission for the naga to tag along. There is no visible response form the girl, but Shishi turns away from her with a slight smirk on his face and replies to Kwen with an "Aye." The assassin moves forward ahead of his son, patting the boy on the head twice as he steps past him, "Sure. You can come with us... Unless you want to eat any of us. Then you can't come and we'll kill you." This is said with a straight face and a flat tone that doesn't exactly sound threatening despite the words uttered. "Blue..." Yellow mutters under his breath towards his father.

Kwen chuckled although someone trying to kill him? Please, he could paralyze someone with a bite to the fingernail. The sea naga looked toward the north, which mountain tops with white snow glazed on the tops were visible from the area the vampire and naga were standing in. Kwen gazed back toward the family, “We better get moving if we are going to get to Frostmaw by night.” Kwen started to walk along the path with the family, handing out traveling herbs such as Supus’ and Sage Mixtures to enhance energy for each of them.

Kwen gave 1 sage mixture to Shishi.

Kwen gave 1 supus to Shishi.

Kwen gave 1 sage mixture to Yellow.

Kwen gave 1 sage mixture to Orange.

Kwen gave 1 supus to Yellow.

Kwen gave 1 supus to Orange.

Shishi takes a nibble of the herbs while following Kwen. The twins remained behind their father until he turned and gave them both a nod. At that point the blonde duo ingests the herbs, making a couple faces at the taste. Eventually Arius will sprint up to walk beside his father while his sister, poor over encumbered Orange, trails behind the other three. "Did that guy invite you to Frostmaw too?" Yellow asks of the naga.

Kwen said to Orange, "Him?" pointing at Shishi without him watching, "Why yes. I actually invited him to tag along with me. Vice versa, either or?" Slithering quickly to catch up to the human vampire, "I don't think we ever decided to exchange names. I am Kwen Ahwahk. A merchant who owns a small little shop above the two caverns a little west of here." The interdiction was an over-kill you might say, but there was no reason why the naga couldn't add a little about him as well. The Cryomancer examined the several creatures present; he would like to know each of their names as well.

Northern Highlands

Shishi 's children shake their head, Yellow clarifying his question, "Ah~ I meant. The other guy. Kasyr. He told us to come to Frostmaw... Oh... but I guess you're not really a vampire though..." the boy was more or less ranting and probably would have kept going if he wasn't interrupted by his father, "My name is Shishi." the vampire nods over his shoulder, "My daughter; Leralynn." The bundled up girl call out to correct her father with the preferred colorful nomenclature, "Orange."

Kwen nodded as each creature explained the mistakes he made. “No, Kasyr has not summoned me to his lands, although the Queen would be fine if I could ‘escort’ if one of the two ask why when we get to your destination. I am actually traveling there to study the creatures that take refuge. If any try to attack, I could easily defend us.” Kwen chuckled at his cockiness, “I am sure your father could as well.” Thoughts of children preferring colors than real names; that wouldn’t happen if he had children of his own. The path was becoming narrower as they passed each clearing; soon the cliffs would become visible that they would have to climb. The Cryomancer would soon have the temperature of ice running through his veins, and emotions would start to develop. Could the children really climb the steep cliff that lies ahead?

Northern Range

Shishi , despite being the least warmly dressed of his family, doesn't seem to even flinch at the descending temperature. The vampire eyes his children, Orange starting to pout a bit at the cold even behind her thick set of clothing. Yellow on the other hand has gone through some subtle kind of transformation, his eye color shifting from an oceanic blue to a vibrant red, this change perhaps allowing him to deal better with the cold. The boy, as if oblivious to the change in his irises responds to Kwen, "Gwah~... We've never been up to Frostmaw. Are there alot of monsters?"

Kwen shook his head to ease the children’s worries of the several monsters that lie ahead. The motion was a lie though, Kwen winked at Shishi although he probably already knew what was out there in the frozen land. The air was becoming thinner, the naga now began to worry about the children; the moans only begun. The Cryomancer thought about what they would do when they reached the top of the cliff, or the base of the cliff?! “Has everyone finished their Supus’ and Sage Mixtures; because if not you better do it now. We are heading up toward the base now and the thin air shouldn’t be noticed if you have devoured the rest of the traveling herbs.”

Winding Paths

Shishi was the only member of the family that had been out to Frostmaw before. The trip was some time ago and hostile giants and a certain meddlesome owl had kept the vampire from making the trip again with the twins. Shishi was however, confident in his offspring's ability to reach the frozen city as much will likely be demonstrated once they reach the cliff in a few moments. A slight nod towards Kwen is meant to acknowledge his wink and assure the naga that the vampire and his children were capable of dealing with whatever might be lurking in the ice and snow. "Oh!" Yellow exclaims before quickly downing the last of his herbs that he had neglected to finish. Even now the girl of the group is the only one that seems to be affected negatively by the temperature. The girl constantly blowing breath into her gloved hands and hugging her arms around her body.

Kwen glanced at the child, she was cold obviously. The herbs he handed out didn’t prevent coldness, but that was unpreventable because Frostmaw was just the kinda of place you can’t run away from the cold temperatures. “I am sorry younglin’s. I don’t have any other herbs. I have a few drinks, would milk suit the each of you?” The Cryomancer couldn’t just stand by and let the children freeze into an icicle. The naga developed manners, although he is quite evil. Finally, they have reached the base of the cliff!!

Frozen Walk

Shishi frowns slightly towards Leralynn. He had thought the seven or so layers would have been enough to keep the girl feeling comfortable, but it appears he's underestimated how much she dislikes the cold. Kwen's offer of milk is met with a pair of "Aye!"s. While they were waiting to be treated Yellow informs his sister, "It's not really that cold, Orange..." In response to this the girl takes a swipe at her brother with a gloved hand which the boy rather stylishly avoids by leaning back on his heels while grinning mockingly at the girl, "What? It isn't." Once milk has been handed out Yellow will turn his currently red stare up towards the cliff, "We're gonna climb that, huh?"

Kwen nodded before giving the milk to each child. After devouring the drink, Kwen clutched his hand onto one of the ledges, pulling his tail; finally his whole body was onto one of many ledges of the cliff. The naga threw his hand down, to pick up each child from the ground to relieve the father of his duties so far~ The Cryomancer looked up to the sky that held the city of Frostmaw. I long way to go he thought. The darkness of the moon powered his soul of a Cryomancer; he could climb a million cliffs because his goal right now was to get this family unit to their destination.

Frozen Climb

Shishi 's children might have had a method in mind for climbing the cliff themselves, but with Kwen offering his help they wouldn't need to exert themselves as much and this was fine with the family. Shishi brings up the rear pushing the children upward whenever needed and boosting them up when such was necessary as well as being in position should any slips or falls occur. With the vampire's help Kwen's task of pulling the twins up the cliff might not be as difficult as he had anticipated.

Kwen pushed and climbed, pulled and climbed, before they reached the end of the rather large cliffs; boulders fell nearly crushing his tail. The children seemed out of breath, as he was but he didn’t show it. The end was near, although they have been climbing for an hour or so, it seemed this adventure has been going on forever. Finally a large boulder was in site, it would take an effort to move it. The children would even be needed.

Higher Among The Mountains

Shishi wipes at his brow when they reach the boulder although no sweat had accumulated there. The action was done almost reflexively after the strenuous task of pushing Orange and Yellow up the cliffs. The vampire points towards the object in their way and explains to the twins, "We need to move that." Whenever Kwen was ready Shishi would join him in pushing his shoulder against the large rock. Not long after the assassin has started pushing, the children, after taking a moment to catch their breath, are pushing against the boulder as well, a considerable amount of strength can be felt coming from Yellow once he starts trying to move the boulder and his might be the bit of extra power they needed to finally move the obstacle out of the way.

Kwen joined along pushing the large boulder that stood in there way. After five minutes of heaving and pushing, in started to budge one foot per minute. The family unit and the naga have finally moved the large boulder to where they could cross the path that once stood a large boulder than kept them from reaching their destinations; or rather the familes destination.

Frozen Pathway

Shishi tilts his head and looks towards his son with some pride showing on his face while Leralynn lets out a long, "Gwah~!" after helping to move the boulder, "Are we almost there?" "Aye. I think so." Shishi responds to his daughter before looking towards Kwen for confirmation.

Kwen looked over the events that previously occurred throughout this long evening. They have accomplished something very important today, especially the kids. The important lesson for the day for the children, team work is important. The adult lesson? That someone always needs help, and you should always be willing to give it; or that is what Kwen thinks. Finally the destination was reached, and the Cryomancer felt accomplished for helping the family that he had met only prior to that day. “Thank you Shishi, Orange, Yellow for allowing me to meet such a wonderful hard-working family.” Kwen presented a saluting motion for the fun, while heading toward the hills saying, “Monsters, here I come!”

Shishi offers a bright smile and places a hand behind his head, "Aye. Thanks a lot, Kwen Ahwahk." as the naga makes his departure the children send him waves and thanks as well while wispering between each other, "Do you think he'll really get a monster?" "I thought I saw one for sure by the cliff."
