Kintor (Valkor's Brother; RPed by Valkor)

Gwenilyn smiles softly as she greets Thea, 'Greetings, Thea. Tis good to see you again.' *pauses* Is it alright for me to be here? Valkor looks around in awe at this silent place.

Thea returns the smile to the pair though concern rests on the pixie's brow, "Wonderful to see you both." Thea seems a bit distracted, attentions torn between her friends and something off to the south. Snapping from her daze she looks to Gwenilyn, "Of course it is alright."

Keter appears from the south.

Thea spots Keter, offering the Drow a polite nod before she turns once more to the giant and pixie.

Keter said to Thea, "I was exploring the area down south there, through that ominous dead tree. There are tunnels now, channeling through a Shadow Gnome camp, all the way up to Sage, and linking to the Sewers of Larket."

Gwenilyn nods politely to the drow, a soft smile gracing her lips. 'Greetings.' *Turns back to Thea* Thank you, Thea.' *glances up at Valkor*

Keter said to Thea, "There also appears to be a right tense situation brewing somewhere around the area beneath Sage between those putrid little Fermin creatures and the Shadow Gnomes; it appears war could break out between them at any time."

Thea 's concerned expression grows more prevalent at Keter's confessions, listening carefully as she looks between the trio before her, luminous gaze drifting off to the south.

Keter nods to those others in attendance

Valkor follows the fae Thea's look with a polite bow to the other who entered this quiet place. The giant stands next to his fae to take her hand.

Thea nods sagely, digesting this information for a moment, "Aye, so my instincts were right. I was just exploring a bit the other day and felt something was amiss." Turning to the couple she asks softly, "Have the two of you seen the posts on the board in Kelay about this plague that is going about?"

Gwenilyn nods quickly in affirmation. 'Indeed tis true. I *blushes* I get lost quite a bit and managed to get good and lost in the Serpent City not long ago. I discovered many of the same network of tunnels, particularly the one that leads here.'

Gwenilyn shakes her head. 'No I haven't. I fear I avoid the tavern as much as possible.'

Keter said, "I think Enchantment needs to bolster it's defenses on this front, I sneaked deeper into the sewer areas to explore covertly, and it appears as though the Fermin are preparing for war, they are producing food and weapons and have a fully manned barracks in place."

Gwenilyn groans softly to herself as she digests Keter's information. Not more war, she thinks. please no.*

Valkor narrows his eyes to Keter with a nod of agreement. The giant looks around for what resources lay nearby, that he could uses to fortify this location of the kingdom. He face falls abit, having found nothing of stone or wood that could be bent to their need. they must go elsewhere for materials, he thinks.

Keter said, "The Shadow Gnomes like any of the other Underdark races make alliances based on potential gain and not principles, if for some reason they allied with the Fermin, they would have a direct path into enchantment, completely bypassing the main protective Gateway."

Gwenilyn nods at this, spares a glance at Valkor then turns to Thea. 'Thea? Could not another protective Gateway be made here? So long as we Fae band together and pool our magics, could this not be accomplished?'

Valkor listens to the exchange of the others in silence and reaches a comforting hand to his Gwen.

Thea 's face is a bit flushed, mind racing at possible solutions to seal off her beloved city. Looking to Valkor and Gwenilyn she speaks in an even, low tone, "The thought of war with one other race is never a pleasant one, but to think of shadow gnomes being allies with those rat-people is even more disheartening. I am in possession of an item that may be of assistance, and yes Gwenilyn..it will take as many as we can gather to pull our magics for what needs to happen."

Thea 's gaze travels upward through the brittle branches of what was once an ominous feature in this place, "I will make a public announcement in search of others. In the meantime, Valkor.." she pauses and collects her thoughts before continuing, "suppose a few of your..bigger friends, would be willing to guard the passage to the south in the interim?"

Keter looks up at the once grandiose tree, now cracked deeply through it's core. "It's a shame the Trembling Tree has been reduced to it's current state, it held powerful energies at one time that would be useful in a time like this."

Valkor nods to the command of his friend with firm grin. "Aye. None of these creepy nasties will get pass me and my brothers."

Gwenilyn thinks for a moment as she hears Keter's words. She looks up at the massive tree with an air of speculation. 'I wonder if it is possible to revive? *mumbles to herself* I am a healer, it would seem possible to delve into the tree's essence and discover what I can....hmmm..'

Thea 's expression turns to one of hope upon hearing the suggestions from both Keter and Gwenilyn, a nod of appreciation delivered to Valkor. The human-sized pixie then removes from her bag the blessed tool that aided in the healing of the main Gateway, "I believe, you may just be on the right track there Gwen."

Gwenilyn said Forgive me friends, but I must leave for now. I shall try to return soon. Just let me know how I can be of assistance!

Valkor :A distant pounding of large foot steps seems to be coming from the west. Valkor tilts his brow and said. "Sounds like my brother has come out of hiding to aid us in this endeavor. " Another winged giant with skin of rich black rubbles into the area. Kintor said. "Greetings Brother, Valkor, Lady Gwenilyn. Is Moonlight in trouble?"

Thea said to Valkor, "Thank you so much, my giant friend. Your support of this city means so much to me. I would never expect you or any of your brothers to go without compensation for such a task, so let it be known that I will gladly pay for your services."

Valkor shakes his head. "This is a free city good lady. For my brother and myself our protection comes without pay, though I can not speak for the others." He turns to his brother Kintor. "Thea and the Kingdom of enchantment is in need, brother." The other giant seems disappointed, but stands firm next to Valkor. "Oh, Kintor will help fae folk. They pretty and have good magic."

Thea chuckles quietly as the siblings converse, "I insist. There is still much work to be done on the castle as well, so if you are free to be in my employ once this situation is under control..?" The pixie stands awaiting confirmation before moving ahead.

Keter looks to Thea and the Giant brothers, "I'm going to go search for information on this plague situation, it seemed to come about right around the same time as these rat-folk"

Thea nods to the Drow, hand offering a slight wave, "Very well, Keter. Hope to see you about later."

Keter departs westward with a determined pace

Valkor nods his head, "We are at your service, Thea. We will not insult you if you wish to reward our service."
