Shesryn- Forest Path, Chaos side

Chapter Four: Family Feud

Kasyr is looking thoroughly bored, and slightly blood soaked-both of which can be attributed to spending a bit too much time in this forest. After all, It's not every day that they find themselves at least partially crippled by some encounter or another. "Non, it just seems to be every day -here-. Quand meme." Thankfully, the hybrid doesn't have to lug Riss around anymore, which has left the hybrid free to hunt just about any cute or not-so-cute woodland animal that happens to crop up. Because, as it is, they are still quite stuck in the midst of the forest they entered yesterday, Albeit at a much higher altitude.

Satoshi isn't spending her time hunting like the tiefling, not entirely hungry and far more keen on getting out of the forest. "Nyeh~. Everything's trying to kill everything else here~," the mage sighs to the mouse needlessly dozing on her shoulder, receiving a lazy flick of its bony tail in response. "And I thought home was a bloodthirsty place..." A sudden snap of a twig has the feline halting and whirling around, but upon finding nothing she sighs and turns back, hurrying up her pace to draw even with Riss. "Oi~. How much longer until we're outta here? I feel like we're being watched, and it's driving me crazy~. 'm not prey, dammit... I don't like this feeling."

Riss was finally better! Perfectly fine, in fact. What was so bad about being pushed near-death here? Oh right, Christian didn't really have to worry about it, but he was still rather mad about his trench-coat. Even after Kitten had matched pace with him, he had his head tilted down so he could stare at the ground, deep in thought. What was he thinking about? Well, that was made rather obvious after he threw his arms in the air, exclaiming, "I figured it out! If we run into that bastard again, I'm just going to skewer him within my own barrier. Or chop him up before he even sees me! Yes, yes-- that'll do the job quite nicely." Of course, this all happened after Satoshi had asked him the question; maybe he forgot that those two were even with him. Just maybe. "Oh-- eheh. Well, if we keep heading in this direction, we'll land in Order Territory. Hopefully none take notice to us. Having Kasyr with us is pretty much a death-sentence if they've a sensory-type with them~."

Kasyr claps his hands together once Christian finishes speaking, if only to draw everyones attention to him. "That's only -if- we can't outfight them, es it not? Or escape- Et er, to be quite frank... There es a flaw with something else you said, tu know." Stretching out, the hybrid than simply tips back and stares at Riss, a bemused expression on his face, "You'd have to hope you could see him, before he sees you- especially since he doesn't have to be seen, mmm? If he targets someone else next time- well, your a bit more vulnerable to something being rammed through your neck, et all." Shrugging, the hybrid straightens up once more, before simply marching onwards.

Satoshi's already glancing around anxiously at the surrounding trees with those words, suspicious of the faintest rustle of leaves and delivering a death glare to each flickering shadow. "They're all out to kill us and each other. But we just got to kill them first. Simple. Even if we can't see some of them," the magus mumbles into her scarf, earning her a curious look from Nom when she suddenly eyes him with equal wariness. "You don't care who dies, so long as you get some flesh to eat, hm? Tch. I'll kill you too, if you try anything." The tilt of the skeletal rodent's skull suggests he's blinking nonexistent eyes at the words, and with a rattling squeak he disappears into Satoshi's hood and out of her narrow-eyed sight. Undead mouse or not, there's no getting used to the stare of a hunting cat.

Satoshi whispered to Satoshi, "Just kill them first before they kill me~."

Riss was visibly disappointed when Kasyr had shattered his brilliant planning, planning that had taken him the entirety of a couple hours. For these reasons, Christian's body slumped forward, head and arms alike hanging as he stared at the ground. He surely did give off a 'don't talk to me' vibe. But all of that changed when his mind processed the comments about the Orders. "Wellll~ Killing an Order is easier said than done. When one dies, another gets stronger! And they usually work in teams of three. Matched based on compatibility of their powers." With a tilt of his head, he raised a finger to scratch at his cheek, lips curled into a boyish grin. "I actually like the way they work. It's brilliant, tactically. The right make-up, and they're pretty much unbeatable, even if one dies!" He was getting far too excited about this-- wait-- how did he know all of this? Odd. He had never really encountered many Orders aside from Ekaitz. And he didn't work in a team.

Kasyr perks up at what Riss said, a small bit of Ekaitz's stolen knowledge floating to the forefront of the tieflings mind, "...Not just 'another'. They all get stronger. Just a bit, but every single Figment of Order out there gets stronger whenever one dies. It's why we don't tend to win fights, frequently- apparament. Most of them are stronger than 'us' as individuals to start with- et then they're co-ordinated. Er, a generalized us, since I believe myself et tu...et...that other one, are exceptional cases. ...Et the ghoul, it seems. He only seemed to have one thing going for him- but it was particularly strong- which seems to happen, rarely." At that, the tiefling scratchs his head, before hastening his pace once more, "...You know, if it wasn't for the fact I conveniently remember bits of knowledge I've stolen, et otherwise don't really use it all that actively- I think I'd permanently have a headache. You ever considered that? I mean, I've eaten quite a few people, et so... Yeah. Er, I guess both scenarios still aren't that favourable."

Satoshi continues following the duo, in a loose sense of the action as the feline's burying herself deeper into her thoughts the longer the conversation progresses, resulting in her pace slowing. She doesn't particularly care for the conversation anyway. All that matters is being able to kill the list of mystery foes before they get killed themselves. -Just kill them first.- With a muffled growl Satoshi whirls around in search of the voice. A moment of scanning the trees reveals nothing however, leaving the feline grumbling as she again resumes to tail the others. -Kill them before they kill us~.- "Right. I know. Before us," the mage mumurs without a trace of the prior alarm. She's heard that voice before, after all. "... Kill them before they kill me, right? Everyone's killing everyone..." Amber-flecked eyes narrow as they fix on Riss' back ahead, claws flexing and silent pace picking up. "I just need to be the one to strike first~." A few more steps and the feline can't resist a snarl, the sound soft and quiet, as Christian is brought into range for the biting edge of an abruptly manifested Asorial--scythe swung in a horizontal slash with all the ferocity the grinning little kit-vampire can muster. "You're not killing me first~!"

Riss had become lost in his own little world, imagining the brilliant tactics of those Order Figments. Oh, how they fascinated him! And his eyes were closed due to this, facial expression nothing more than a peaceful, complacent smile. That was, until his eyes opened once again, and emerald gaze focused on an odd flower that was in his path. Instead of taking notice to the snarl, or the scythe that was recklessly swung towards him, Christian's body was inclined forward to pluck the flower, "Look!" he exclaimed, rising to full height with the flower cautiously held between index-finger and thumb. Yes, when he bent down, the scythe had gone right over-top of him, and he hadn't even noticed. "It's-- so pretty!" he almost sang, before tucking the flower within the confines of his trench-coat for safe-keeping. Indignation was squalling within Christian's mind, but he couldn't figure out why. It must've just been having another one of its bitch-fits.

Kasyr has been doing his own thing, mostly. That is, until Satoshis murderous intent becomes a bit too noticeable to ignore, and he's coaxed into turning around. The sigh that greets him is a good many things- and it's an odd mix of confusion and worry that paints his face. ...At least until Riss narrowly 'avoids' his demise- by which point the hybrids expression simply becomes one of Disgust, "Keep going like that, et I'll try to kill you, too." That being said, the hybrid really doesn't seem intent on intervening; seemingly content with stuffing his hands in his pockets. Well, as long as the muted gleam of light was to be ignored. And the thunking noise overhead.

Satoshi feels a hint of disappointment when the scythe finds itself embedded in a tree trunk rather than the desired flesh, but the emotion is short-lived as ice creeps rapidly across the trunk from its 'bleeding' wound, frosting over the entire towering plantlife before it shatters outward in an explosion of glassy shards. With Asorial freed and frigid projectiles unleashed, Satoshi rounds on Riss again, head bowed as the scythe is lowered to the ground in an almost submissive gesture--that lasts all of a second before the haft is gripped tightly anew and blade is swung upward abruptly, its edge dragging along the ground with the violent motion and unleashing a focused shockwave of pure kinetic energy at Christian. A raging wave that's swiftly followed up by Satoshi herself, grinning wildly with scythe swinging in wide arcs seemingly at random, intent upon cleaving anything it comes in contact with, or leveling it with the blunt force of Asorial's occasional aftershocks. Barely audible above the sounds of crackling ice and swinging blade is a whispered mantra from the berserking feline, "I'll kill you before you kill me~."

Riss tilted his to the side as Satoshi wielded Asorial with such violent nature, and his mouth curled upward into another boyish grin. "We aren't fighting anything, Kitten! There's no need for that right now," he explained with a friendly nod of his head-- and right as it returned to its normal upright position, that's when it happened: the kinetic force that was unleashed by that scythe collided with him, in the left shoulder, propelling him backward into a nearby tree, successfully crushing bone and tissue alike. Thankfully, this had saved him from the shards of ice that the tree had shattered into, but this blessing was far, far too painful to be considered such. After the force dissipated, Christian didn't seem to be fazed other than a limp, hanging arm, uselessly swaying, motions generated by his body's other movements. "W-why?" was the only thing to leave his lips, words that'd undoubtedly fall upon deaf ears. Indignation had be called at this time, taking its traditional form: the white katana, held firmly within his right hand. Eyes didn't once raise from the ground: he didn't want to see one of his friends under the influence of madness; he had seen it far too many times before, but ears were capable of detecting Satoshi's movements on the forest floor, and without setting stride in any direction, Christian simply raised the sword blindly, luck being his only guide in this battle. The blade would either rend his flesh, or become latched onto Indignation's blade. The latter was far, far more likely, considering the nature of the sword.

Kasyr isn't wasting any time either. Given Satoshi is rather focused on trying to kill her brother-in-law, the tiefling takes that moment to briefly slide a hand out of his pocket- momentarily unveiling Empera's crackling form. The revelation is quite short-lived, in fact; only lasting as long as it takes the hybrid to flick a finger in the Ice Magus' direction, before the glove once more is settled into the tieflings pockets. The plan itself is quite simple, really- a single strand of the wire sent arcing through the air towards Satoshi, specifically towards her weapon. Given the sentient nature of the weapon, the hybrids all but certain that the line will make it's way around the haft of Satoshis weapon- where it will simply rest.Given Kasyr only really intends on giving it a tug if it looks like Riss is going to receive a killing blow, since he doesn't quite want to reveal his 'hand' yet. "..Satoshi. Exactement what are you doing?" It was weird, he could almost swear he heard a grinding noise, in the background.

Satoshi||Background sounds, questions, all of it falls on deaf ears with the feline, eyes blazing with a maniacal light, looking upon Riss without recognition as her wild hacking and slashing relentlessly carries on. Still that same obsessive line is spoken by her, half-buried behind her scarf but becoming more audible as the usually innocuous accessory ripples into life. The fringed ends of the watery scarf flex and freeze, sharpening into claws that remain poised above the feline for a single breath before erupting toward Riss in a flurry of swipes and punches. There's no real logic behind Satoshi's assault, merely an obsessive need to get to him before he can get to her, and the best way she can think of in her frenzied state is to throw a volley of rapid-fire strikes at him at once. He can't block them all, of that she's certain, and when one breaks through his defense... the nearest vital point will be her target, to rend or crush.

Riss didn't have many options. He couldn't stand the sight of a friend being swayed by Madness. He wanted it gone. He hated Chaos, and vowed to bring Balance to every world he stepped foot in. The edges of Christian's trench-coat began to flicker, before Satoshi's scarf even came to life, and as the claws formed and sought a meeting with his flesh, he disappeared, only dust, and the sparks generated by a swift grinding of Indignation against Asorial in his wake, but if Kitten's sense of smell was sharp enough, she would undoubtedly realize that he wasn't gone. And even if it wasn't, if she didn't pick up on his scent, the katana that snaked its way between scythe and flesh to hover above her gut was more than enough to make her aware of his presence. In slow motion, one would have been able to see a sharp pivot, matched by a slide of sandals against ground and complete turn to send him behind Satoshi, and move Indignation meticulously into place. "You're no different than my other friends, my other family: if it comes down to it, I ~will~ kill you." Internally, Christian was already damaged, more than just on the emotional level. He had never used such a quick burst of speed before, and though it wasn't for nearly as long as usual, it still took its toll. Blood trickled from a corner of his frowning lips.

Kasyr sighs, before simply withdrawing his hands from his pockets. Whether or not Satoshi could perceive him wasn't really an issue anymore- and as long as she didn't realize there was a wire around her scythe, yet... "Can't we just knock her unconscious et take her to the order side? That should work, should it not?" Though the hybrids' speech seems relaxed- a tension is working it's way through his body, rippling through him as he waited for the feline to snap. He's all too prepared for that moment, really- with the intention of sending enough electrical energy through the wire about Satoshis scythe to hopefully disable her. If it came to that. "...Or get her to walk there. We are nearly there, aren't we?" Idly, the hybrid couldn't help but be grateful that the grinding noise in the background had stopped, though, he felt as though he was overlooking something.

Satoshi does indeed snap, all too suddenly with the combination of Riss' words and entrapment, and the glint of dreaded gold and platinum from Kasyr, both working to trigger that instinctive reaction of fight or flight. And with Asorial in hand, fight is the only real option. Two things happen in that single moment: the pair of scarf ends cease their slashing to suddenly plunge down in front and behind Satoshi, a frozen pair of barriers between herself, Riss, and Indignation, even as the feline turns sharply into a swing with Asorial, the haft released at the end of the arc to send the scythe spinning like a twisted shuriken toward Kasyr and those hated vambraces. The quick pivot serves a dual purpose as well, the force of the motion working to send frozen scarf ends up and out in a windmill fashion, intending to smash aside Christian and his blade, freeing up Satoshi anew long enough to determine which of the two to go after next. And how, considering her Wrathful companion's tiefling-bound at the moment.

Riss was, indeed, smashed aside by that scythe, the blunt force matched by vampiric strength more than enough to send his body hurdling and twisting away to land on the ground, Indignation's form fading from existence somewhere in the process. Of course, he had managed to land on his face. It was always his face. "Damn it~" he muttered against the forest floor, deciding to just accept it, and lay there for a minute, maybe just a bit detached from the situation. He didn't want to accept the truth, to accept that another of his friends had succumbed to the sway of his creator. But, maybe, just maybe that's what gave him the strength to crawl to his knees and brush himself off with a boyish grin tugging at his lips. All things considered, fighting just leads to more madness, and the longer this all dragged out, the more potent the effects would become. "Kitttttten~" he yelled before giving a wave with his right, non-limp hand. "Bet you can't catch me~" It was then that he ran off, in the direction they were supposed to go, the direction leading toward the Order side, where all of this would be forced to go away

Kasyr , whether or not Riss' ruse will work, has his own machinations underway. The foremost of which become apparent when the hybrid flicks his wrist upwards, those wires which are coiled about Asorial causing the glacial scythe to abruptly change course- twirling haphazardly into the air before plunking into the higher up branches of a tree with an audible "Whoa!" ....And a thunk. Whilst he had expected the latter, it's the former that has him briefly stealing a glance up at the forests foliage in an attempt to perceive this third party. His curiosity is short-lived however, his focus slipping back to Satoshi, if only so he could utter a simple, sad sentence, "Hold still, et don't speak." It's not a request, either- not some hopeful attempt at the hybrid to call on some part of the feline that had slipped away into the madness. It's an order- from Sire to fledgling, and even the hybrids sorry can't detract from the urgency of it. Hoping that the madness hasn't yet weakened the bond between the two of them, Kasyr simply charges forward from there- Empera's wires flicking back to the vambraces in sudden, sparking bursts- if only to coalesce into the palm of the items. It's only when the hybrids blitz ends within arms reach of the feline that the reason becomes apparent, Emperas' functionality having been reverted to the less abused form of wrist blades. Thrusting both hands towards her chest, Kasyr simply focuses at making contact with her skin- so that he could promptly discharge as much electrical energy into her body as possible. Even if she strikes out at him, the hybrid simply aims to use that brief moment of contact to fry her senseless. ...And, given the rather excessive amount of magic the hybrid is using- probably send her flying off in Riss' direction. ...Thunk! No, that wasn't the sound of Satoshi- that was another of those tiresome background noises.

Satoshi has no intentions whatsoever of chasing after Riss, with the single step she takes in his direction a predator's reflex only, an instinct to tail fleeing prey. But no, her state of mind isn't a hunting one. It's one of obsessive self-preservation. She's certain Christian will come back to kill her later, and that she can deal with him then, but now however, there's another to focus on. As Satoshi turns to face the tiefling she abruptly goes rigid, a jolt running down her spine freezing her in place as eyes widen--a glimmer of something disbelieving and hurt managing to break through the paranoid glaze as the command takes hold. Contact with Empera is almost welcomed at that point, a painful distraction to being fully under the sway of those words. But Satoshi's denied even that, at least to its fullest extent. With an enraged screech--somehow still musical in tone--the frost-katana awakens in a flash of azure light, flooding out of its sheath and into the feline's immobile grasp in a single fluid motion, refreezing in time to set its crystalline blade between Empera and Satoshi. That Weapon that fancies itself a Shield lives up to its duties again in more ways than are immediately visible. The mage is given half a second to blink, eyes clear and coherent, before the loathed electricity does what it does best, traveling down the katana's length--the ice weakening its potency marginally--before coursing through her. In an involuntary obedience to Kasyr's order, the feline's cries of pain are soundless throughout, and only the vaguest of groans precedes her slipping into darkness and collapsing with the katana--keening miserably--still gripped tight.

Riss didn't stop running. At all. It was almost like he was running from something, rather than attempting to lead Satoshi away from the Chaos-side of Shesryn. And was that a cloud of dust that stirred in his wake? Yes, it was! Eventually, he found himself, both Kitten and Kasyr out of sight, and there he let out a little sigh, before wide eyes glanced to the treetops above. "And~ that didn't work," he muttered before finding a tree to rest his back against, body sliding down into a sitting position so he could catch his breath, even if it was for just a moment. It was weird, though. Oddly, he could already feel the torn tissue and ligaments that caused his left arm to fall limp reforming, but he still wouldn't attempt moving it.

Kasyr only allows himself a few moments to digest the pained look that had flicked through Satoshis features- forcing himself to look at her as she slowly crumpled to the ground. He's not allowed to mire in his misery- the tiefling moving with haste to scoop up his wife, if only to turn towards the source of the noise and that funny feeling. It's only now that Kasyrs' placed it- that odd sensation tugging at the back of his mind being the presence of another person. The hybrid doesn't even have to look long for this to be wholly confirmed- eyes settling onto a thin black wire extending out from the tree they'd been fighting beneath, and a gloved hand currently tugging on it. "In case you're getting any bright ideas of picking a fight with us, or rather, moi- I should let you know that she's my wife. ....So think about what I'd do to you, Hmm?" And Kasyrs' words certainly do elicit a response, albeit in the form of a hasty tug on the line, and a second wire emerging from the tree, well away from him, just like the other line. It's only when a slender, cloaked figure bursts out from the tree that it dawns on the hybrid, "...Oh. Escaping." Though, the hybrid certainly didn't see the -manner- coming, as the figure simply proceeds to slide down the topmost wire, a grip of some sort allowing them to ride down the length without harming their hand. And...something at their hip seemed to be attached to the second wire, which was...pulling them? The hybrids so busy gawking that he only barely catchs the sound of the 'visitor' uttering "Bye! Don't want to meet you again~!" Which, just leaves the hybrid thoroughly stumped- and only halfway glad it hadn't deteriorated into another fight where he gets invariably punched through something or mauled.

Satoshi groans as she comes to in time to completely miss the stranger's sudden departure. Before she even opens her eyes the feline has her hands clasped over her ears--receiving a knock upside the head from the katana still held and eliciting another groan. "My ears are ringing..." Symptom of the 'electroshock therapy', or side effect of abruptly digging up old, deeply-rooted fears and going into a fit of murderous rage over them? Judging by the growing intensity of Satoshi's headache, both is the safe bet. Hands still firmly in place, the mage sends a narrow-eyed gaze up at the tiefling, the look carrying more meaning than the quietly growled, "That hurt..."

Kasyr huffs, before quietly looking off to one side- the one that doesn't have his wife slung over it, to be precise. Rather than answer, the hybrid begins to move in the direction Riss went- only deigning it safe to answer after a few moments passed, "...I didn't enjoy it either, but it was necessary. You were losing yourself, mon amour. ..And it was certainly better than Riss' Alternative- For the ones who are wholly lost."

Satoshi echoes the huff as she traces the katana's hilt thoughtfully. "I know that. Well, now. Not then. You can set me down too, by the way..." She'll wait until she's back on her feet before continuing. "I can't really remember it, aside from being angry. ..And scared. It's all kinda fuzzy an' vague like those bits of your memories I have... But," the mage falls quiet a moment while turning the humming blade over, "-why- did I?"

Kasyr let's Satoshi down, albeit waiting to make sure that she can stand properly before fully relinquishing her. It's only then that he jams his hands into his pockets, Empera having apparently dissapeared during the commotion. When the tiefling speaks, it's more docile- tamed, even. " It's something about this portion of the island. Drives everyone insane, apparament. Bit by bit, it eats away at them, at who they are- twisting it around to lunacy. I know this, because of..who I dealt with. Et how I dealt with him. Erm. Anyways. We ought to depart. Faster still, n'est ce pas?" Really, the only bit of enthusiasm the hybrid is showing, is for the act of following Riss.

Satoshi doesn't move to follow, only uttering a quiet, "Wait." followed by a finger curled in a beckoning gesture. "C'mere for a second. Need to do something, to set things right and such." More beckoning, along with a lopsided smirk, suggest the hybrid bring himself to her eye level.

Kasyr does, in fact, stop in his tracks- and even turns to face the feline. He doesn't immediately heed the felines instructions however, choosing instead to look her over with a certain degree of wary concern. It's only when he's certain of her emotional, and thus mental state- that the hybrid deems it safe to sidle forward, stooping forward so as to meet the felines request. "...Hrm?" The hybrids sense of self preservation might be shouting warnings to him right now. Just maybe. Cats smirking are bad news, indeed.

Satoshi's smirk widens then as she very nearly purrs, "I'm using that I.O.U. from you. So..." the purr gains just the slightest tinge of a growl, claws flexing before clenching into a fist, "...'hold still, et don't speak', hm?" Now Satoshi's no hand-to-hand fighter, but spending years with the Monk of Aramoth has taught her a thing or two. At least when it comes to throwing a punch at an unmoving target. Cuki might have instructed the feline in how to deliver a particularly mean left hook, and she's putting that to use now.

Kasyr actually looks fairly serious for a moment, though he certainly isn't forthcoming with the reason why. But then, not speaking tends to result in a lack of forthcomingness, doesn't it? Either way, the tiefling simply sits there, not moving until the feline hits him- and even then it's only to crumple to the ground. It certainly -isn't- a ghoul punching him through a building...but hell if it isn't unpleasant anyways. And the tiefling just doesn't particularly feel like standing in front of the feline with a smarting jaw, and practically ask for her to keep punching him. So thus, the hybrid is quite comfortable, staring at the foliage of the forest.

Satoshi is forced to bite her bottom lip to keep from hissing in pain. Yes, Cuki had taught her how to punch, but she's also forgetful... and not remembering exactly how to punch -hurts-. Hiding her smarting hand in her sleeve, the feline glances sidelong at Kasyr and nods sharply. "Don't do that again," she states simply before leaning toward him, a hand--the one that's not possibly broken--offered to return him to his feet.

Kasyr graciously accepts the felines extended hand, though he makes sure that he's got a firm grip on her hand. After all, if she actually did try to help him out, she was going to have to cope with his weight, and the armoured coats weight- And then possibly spill over when the tiefling actually gets to his feet. So, with care taken that the felines forgiveness doesn't end with her more flustered than she began, Kasyrs on his feet again~ "I won't. But don't go insane again, madamoiselle. ...The idea of having to fight tu es not a pleasant one. Not when it's..serious. Let's..leave here. ...Please. I don't want to risk that incident." It's on that note that Kasyr squeezes her hand, before gently inclining his head off towards the almost dissipated dust cloud that had been left in Riss' wake.

Satoshi did indeed forget to calculate in the coat's weight too and almost suffers the unbalanced fall were it not for the tiefling's forethought--and haphazard flailing of her free arm. With tumble avoided and husband on his feet, Satoshi can properly sidle up alongside and return the squeeze of hand. "I don't want that either... Leaving sounds nice." And off in Riss' direction she goes, at the same time that she swallows her pride long enough to hold up her injured left hand to Kasyr, a sheepish grin on her face. "I... think I broke it."

Kasyr stops walking for just a moment, before his pace picks up. And it's not only his pace that's picked up- the tieflings free hand moving towards the wrist of that broken appendage. "...Er..that. That doesn't- you know? Sacre bleu..." Not quite sure what he's looking for, or what to say- the hybrid simply continues walking, an incredulous look painted on his face. "...I could try et heal it, I suppose. You're not like Riss, so it's not like you have his issue et all...j'suppose." The tiefling seems all too ready to try, really- seeing as it's his fault, and all.

Satoshi isn't given much choice in following, considering Kasyr's got both her hands now, leaving her hurrying her own pace to try and match his. "A-all right. Let's find that brother of yours first, though? If we run into anyone along the way... it's not like I need my hands to fight, y'know?" With that, the feline falls silent and resigns herself to playing keep-up. It at least gives her a chance to mull over recent events and attempt to sort things out.

Kasyr mostly agrees with the felines thoughts, were it not for one particular facet of her response. The hybrid doesn't exactly -need- to stop moving. It'd certainly make the process a lot faster, but seeing as they need to walk/jog/run all the way to where Riss is- there really is no harm in gradually invoking the rite that will restore the Magus' hand. Whether she needs it or not is besides the point, as long as the hybrid doesn't have anything left to feel guilty about.

Satoshi doesn't really need that fit of giggles that comes with any healing magic, but hey, it's worth enduring for the sake of a hand that's not stabbing with pain. Even if it means she has to resort to burying her face into the tiefling's side to stifle the sound. Really, alerting likely-nearby enemies to their location by laughing is just not the way to do things.

Kasyr is aware of how conspicuous a giggling feline is- but, he's also aware that if anything was on the particular route they were now traveling, they had long since run off to track down and beat Riss to a bloody pulp, before dismembering his unconscious body, and wearing his limbs like various not-so-stylish accessories. And that was in the somewhat unlikely scenario they won. ..Somewhat meaning anything except for any equal to the last few things they encountered. Really, when the hybrid thinks about it, it's sort of worrying.
