Only rubble remains of this shop. No evidence of how or why this happened.

Mythayus had been looking for his friend. He wanted to tell him of the most recent goings on. He had finally caught a nap and hoped the little girl would stay asleep in his room, while he was gone. He still needed to find where she came from. He shook those thought from his head and walked into the area as various guard seemed to have point him. His long black hair hung loose for he wasnt wearing his que. His Royal blue eyes finally seeing his target. He'd approach but doesnt speak seeing as how he was in a conversation already.

Vahn dismissed Lydrain's proposal modestly, a hand moving to cover his mouth, the other swaying side-to-side -- and was that a blush? Yeah, it was. "No, no," he'd eventually say, "I could never be someone like that. You'd best be careful, though: if my business takes off, I may one day own you all." Mythathus' approach was more prepared for than that of his friend's, prompting a slight turn, eyes moving slowly from Lydrain, as if dragging them away. "I believe you've got a visitor."

Lydrain chuckled lightly at the 'own you all' comment. Noting her eyes darting from him to someone else, he turned, and smiled when he saw the sheriff. Walking towards him, "Mythayus, my friend, welcome to, what I believe to be, the next major business here in Larket."

Mythayus smile. "Oh, well then." He gives a gallent bow. "Pleasure, to meet you. Should you need anything i'd be more than happy to help." Lydrain would note that his friend is not wearing armor on the left arm. There seems to be faded bite marks on it. Another thing his left hand is badly scarred almost like it was mauled by a lycan or something. He gave a welcoming smile.

Vahn followed closely behind Lydrain and gave a curtsy to Mythathus in return to his bow; he didn't offer any credentials deserving of the bow he'd given Lydrain. "I appreciate the thought. It's getting late, though, and it'd be best to get in. It was a pleasure meeting you both." Truthfully, the hospitality of Larket was quite surprising. Vahn turned on his heels and headed back toward the Inn he'd been staying in, but made sure to turn back and offer a smile, alongside a cute twiddling of his fingers to the duo.

Lydrain upon actually inspecting Mythayus, his eyes grew full of concern. Though, he thought he would save that when they were not in company. Upon Vahn's departure, he nodded towards her, "Come by the Academy and we can talk about getting you up and running." Waving, once, as she left, he looked back towards Mythayus, "What happened?" .

Mythayus looks to lydrain confused, "What are you talking about?" He watched as the woman left.

Lydrain points to his arm, "What do you mean, what? You look loke you have been attacked by a pack of rabid wolves. What attacked you that scarred you so badly?"

Mythayus looks down at his arm. "Well these" He points to the fading bite marks on his forearm, "Are from a little dragon whelp, i found this morning, that decided i was more tasty then the brisket, i bought for her. As for my hand....My fiance did it."

Lydrain looked concerned for a moment, "You found a youngling dragon? Where? What colour? Any idea where the mother is?" Realizing that the questions were... unnecessary at this point in time, he focused more on his hand, "What do you mean, your fiance did it?"

Mythayus gave a sad smile, as he removed his armored glove on the right hand. and held it up as well. It had a scar dead center, it looked as though some slammed a bolt through it and twisted. "I poisoned my fiance, shortly after i met him, as pay back for killing my charge. My rider knew i had done something wrong and when i wouldnt tell her she took her bolts and put them through my hands and shoulders, and twisted, to get me to speak. I returned to my fiance badly bleeding. He was suffering from the poison. I told him to use my dragons blood to nullify the poison. He ended up destroying my hand."

Lydrain began to feel a hot bubbling anger building up in his gut. He forced himself to stay calm, however, "I'm not even sure what to say, Mythayus. Far be it from me to pass judgement, but it sounds as if you shouldn't be associating with either your 'rider' or your fiancee. I would ask, that if you do not want me to get involved, that we change the subject, as I am likely to be very, very upset if we continue to talk about this subject. If you have made peace with it, far be it from me to stomp on that..."

Mythayus smiles, "Yes lets change subjects, cause their are alot people who beleive i shouldnt be getting married." He reaches into his bag and pulls out two scrolls. He opens both to see which one is the correct one. The then holds one out for Lydrain to take.

Lydrain takes the scroll, "What is this Myth?"

Mythayus shrugs, "I havent read either but that one has weird marking like is a spell or ritual. This appears tobe a letter from my mother.

Lydrain opens the scroll and begins to read. (ooc What is it about?)

Mythayus looked to Lydrain maybe this will help. He began to read his mother's word aloud, "My dearest son, things are going to be different, for you now, but before i get into that. I wish to congratulate you, on finally becoming a knight. Though your father may not say it, he has always been proud of you. Here is your amulet, as you must have figured out, it is by no means a normal amulet. This amulet, I made speical for you, my son. For you are a very rare and powerful dragon. I hope you can forgive me for keeping this from you. The amulet surpressed your draconic powers, and kept you in a human form, until i could teach you how to control yourself and your powers. I wanted to tell you, so badly, I could see how much stress and agravation you were going through as certain powers came through. I was hoping to give this chest before you left on your mission but i missed you. So i'm writing this letter, just incase i'm not here when you come back. I have to report on my finding soon to the archmage and i will be gone for a while. Also all of this stays in between me and you. I fear that even though your father loves you, if he found out that you were a dragon he may kill you. I've always kept a watchful eye over as you trained, my son. I'm saden to see that you are only using one of your elements. I suspect this is due to the amulet and it only allowing certain things through. I was even more saden to see that even after the amulet was broken, you still only showed the signs of being a lowly blue dragon, when you are so much more powerful than that. I fear I trapped you in that, and if that is the case, my son, I have a mission for you. It will be long and dangerous, but i know you can handle it, as you have all the other challeneges that you have faced. First, my son, the amulet needs to be awakened before you can fix it. This is the easy part it requires you blood, as it is attuned and binding you. Once that is done, you will need to get souls akin to your own twelve, i believe should be enough. The amulet should repair it's self with every soul. Once the amulet is fixed you should know how it feels and know when it has been completely repair. The other scroll i believe to be the ritual to unbind that amulet. I hope you can forgive me, and come to peace with yourself. Also my dear Adrian, Never let what you are, change who you are, and you will always be the same couragous, handsome young man, i raised. Love, your mom.

Lydrain looked at Mythayus and raised an eyebrow, "I remember you telling me about your mother, and how she bound your dragon form, so she could raise you as a person, right? Simply to see if their greatest enemy could become their greatest weapon. Well, if this spell is correct, it would give me the ability to undo that binding. I would have to do a bit of research first. The dialact has been outdated for quite some time, and I simply would want to make sure nothing translates incorrectly...."

Mythayus nods, "Then i suppose i should work on fixing my amulet, while your doing that?" He tilted his head awaiting an answer.

Lydrain nodded towards Mythayus, "I don't necessarily enjoy your mother's tone in that note, lowly blue dragon, but, what can I expect from dragon hunters." He was obviously irritated, but, part of that could be due to his earlier anger. Reading over the spell once again, "I have some books that I need to cross-reference this with, but it shouldn't take me any longer than a few days, maybe a week if we have to deal with anything political here in Larket..."

Mythayus smiled, "Take your time, there is no rush. I've waited this long, i can wait alittle while longer." he sighed, "And i truly am sorry for my mother's tone."

Lydrain sighed, "No no, it isn't your fault. If I held you accountable for their actions and tone, then I could be ehld accountable for my mother, and I don't want that..."

Mythayus laughed, "Alright, Oh! The whelp. She three and she is a white, i have no clue where the mother is. But she is adorable." He changed the subject hoping to get a laugh.from his friend.

Lydrain simply nods, "It is unusual for a white to be in this temperate of a climate. Perhaps you should inquire around Frostmaw, that seems to be the most likely place of her home." Thinking for a moment, "Is she able to take human form, or is she too young for that still?"

Mythayus smiles, "She is fully capable of taking a human form, and apparently prefers my arm over beef brisket. I'd say you should come see her but i finally get her to go to sleep"

Lydrain nods, "That is for the best, I suppose. Though it is curious that she would be this far south, especially away from her parent."

Mythayus nods, "I agree, But right now i have her, safe. Though i should probably go check on her. It was nice to see you and i'm happy your willing to help me. "

Lydrain nods towards Mythayus, "Anytime, my friend. Also, white dragons eat their food partially frozen, just thought that might help, it also doesn't have to be cooked, they actually prefer it raw."

Mythayus laughed, "Well maybe thats why she was eating me instead of the brisket. Which was absolutely delicious." He turns and starts to walk off, "Oh, if you ever need anything dont hesitate and ask."

Lydrain begins to walk towards the Academy, back to his home.
