RP:Seeking a Fight

From HollowWiki

Location: Kelay Tavern

Daunn shambles into the room, using his knuckles as well as his feet. He throws himself down to sit in a corner of the room and just sits there glowering at everyone who even glances in his direction.

Judith looks at Daunn

Daunn glares back at Judith and bares his fangs at her.

Daunn looks at Judith

Judith says to Daunn, "There a problem?"

Daunn says to Judith , "I come here cuz I hear this tavern have all kinds of great fights. Been here days, and there is nothing but talk talk talk! Do you people here do nothing but talk?"

Daunn says, "Where the great fights at?"

Judith says to Daunn, "You idiot. They're not in the tavern... they're out -everywhere-. Why you wanna fight somethin'?"

Daunn snarls at Judith , "Dummy, all the stories say great fights happen here. I got bored with same fights all time at home, come looking for different fights."

Daunn looks at Judith

Lucia shifted her gaze, just for a moment, towards the troll. Daunn. Of course, she didn't actually know his name... but she could hear his 'hunting' for a fight even from her table. Grimacing, Lucia once more looked to Skylei and shook her head. "You... were sitting over there... for quite some time, now... watching me. Avoiding me. I may be... awkward... but I am not blind." Nancy's passing by gave the knight all the excuse she needed to break eye contact, instead quietly exchanging coin for a glass of juice. And then, staring down at the table, she sighed quietly and shook her head. "It was never my intention to behave so... poorly. You say that doubt my giving up would help... but... what good has persistence done me? I... am not made for this kind of thing. I would cause... less friction amongst those I am fond of... if I simply kept myself to being a soldier. At least -that- I know how to do properly."

Judith rests her hands on her hips. "Well, how do you think these fights are different? Are you sure you're not just all talk, huh?" She frowned and eyed the troll closely with grey clouded eyes.

Lucia oocly would love to see Judith fight the troll! That'd be hillarious!

Daunn casually swings his axe down, burying the blade into the tavern floor, then using it as leverage to stand up. With a splintering sound he wrenches the blade free from the floor and rests it casually upon his shoulder. "I hate talk. I love fights. You wanna fight?"

Judith oocly would think Judith would get severely hurt, but it would be funny. :D

Judith grins at the troll and his actions, Judi was shorter than the troll, so she gazed up. "I would fight, but I'd lose. I mean, it's not fair that I'm so small and you're so, big." She smirked and with a snap, ice formed around her knuckles and a ice staff came in her grip. "Besides, I'm terrible at fighting myself. I think capturing things is way more better to me." She shrugged.

Daunn snorts and drops heavily back onto the floor, and resumes staring blankly at the floor. "I want Epic Fights. Fights that be told as legend forever. Not just crunching up little girls and birds."

Cerinii says to daunn, "Then go fight the Prekleks. Or those who fight against them. Whatever side you choose, will surely be recorded."

Daunn perks up, his ears and nose rising. "Prekleks are back? Yesss! Where I go? Who is fighting them?!" He practically levitates back onto his feet and rushes over to Cerinii's table, knocking a table casually aside as he does so. "Tell me! Who fighting the Prekleks?"

Judith scowled and stepped forward. "Listen, you fat bastard, I'm no little girl. I'm a young woman. -Woman-. Crunching me up? That's probably true, but I really don't care." She leaned a bit on the staff and glared at him.

Cerinii says, "As if I know. Find out for yourselves, I've lost the will to care. But would it not be greater to fight against them? The glory would be epic und the spoils yours, rather than sharing them with the Prekleks."

Cerinii sighed softly, "I am being beckoned.. Supper is ready, it would seem."

Daunn would like to oocly point out that he's a troll, not an ogre. Scrawny is a better term than fat. ;)

Daunn growls when Cerinii slips out the door past him. He whirls around to face Judith . "You! You tell me! Who fighting the Prekleks?"

Judith oocly wants to think you're fat. >>

Judith oocly is teasin' alrighty change to 'scrawny bastard'.

Daunn ooc; nope. scrawny, thick red hide, black spiky mohawk hair, very sharp carnivore teeth, and about 6' long arms. ;) And a face no one can love, not even his mother.

Judith took a deep breath, still leaning on her staff. "Well... I know who is, but what would I get out of this?" Judi was a little rude and stubborn. She wanted to kind of watch him squirm.

Daunn growls at her and hefts his axe menacingly. "You tell me name and I leave this room in one piece. You not tell me, and I leave this room in many pieces."

Judith laughs. "Is that right? Well, do it." She shrugged. "I wanna see you try it." She bounced a little playfully.

Damonn looked at the troll and blinks slinking backwards far away and smashes his body to the ground hoping to be hidden.

Daunn slams his axe down through the top of the nearest table, splintering it into at least two pieces. Reaching over with his other hand he grabs one of the pieces and tosses it behind him, where it slides across the floor and into a wall. He takes two steps closer to Judith, glaring at her, then casually repeats his earlier action and buries the blade of the axe into the floorboards just in front of her feet. "Who?"

Damonn moves across the floor quickly and goes under Lucia 's chair watching, he whines lightly looking around quickly.

Judith looked a little puzzled and she lifted her staff and pointed it at him. "Back off. I'm not saying a damn word. I don't take sides, sir." One more threat and she'd try to lung for him...

Daunn leaves his axe buried in the floorboards and reaches out with one oversized hand and grabs the end of her ice-covered staff and uses it to drag her forward until she's face-to-ugly-face with him. "I is not interested in what side you is on. I want to know who is fighting the Preks. You tiny peoples not like Troll ways of getting information. You no heal like we do. Tell me name. Now."

Warren says to Daunn, "I am fighting the preks beast."

Daunn will oocly wait for Judith 's post before reacting.

Judith blinked, she shifted around. "Eh... Like I care, go to hell." She then snapped her gaze on who spoke. "Thank gosh..." She rolled her eyes and looked back at him. "There you go. You have your answer, now let me go." A frown tugged at the corners of her mouth.

Judith oocly meant looked back at the troll. Bleh. Sorry, I'm sick, so it's really hard to think.

Daunn oocly pats Judith on the head. "Quite alright. And sorry if Daunn's a bit rough around the edges. I could try RPing him as suave with a sophisticated British accent, but why break tradition?" ;)

Daunn releases Judith's staff, leaving small chunks of his flesh frozen into the ice and whirls around to face the other man. He rips his axe out of the floorboards with a splintering crunch. "You fight the Preks? Good!" he grins nastily at him. "Where I go to fight them?" The troll advances until he's standing towering over the shorter man.

Warren stands like a stalwart sentinel before the towering brute, no emotion visable upon his hooded features, though both hands rest upon hilts wrapped in iris cloth. " They coem to us for a fight troll, and soon there shall be many of the damned lizards to fight." A moment passes before Alexander asks. "Why?"

Judith turned around and walked over to an empty table. "Damn... that's nasty." She gazed at the staff. It wasn't very pleasant, but she took a hand and took the flesh off of the ice staff anyway. Shaking her head while doing so. She then settled the staff on top of her table and leaned back. Watching all the conversations throughout the establishment.

Daunn growls and runs one of his hands down his face in frustration at having to explain the obvious again to one of these people. "I came to this tavern because Great Fights happen here in stories. But all anyone do here is talk. All talk talk talk. I want Epic Fights! Fighting the Preklek would be Epic Fights. Fights that stories and legends told about. Now, where I go for that?" He bends down disturbingly close to the human, his rotten breath blowing into the man's face. "Tell me."

Lucia says to Daunn, "The Sage Forest... all around you. That is where there will be war, soon. You'll get all the fight you bargained for, and more."

Warren again is as readable as smooth stone, nor does he move an inch. Rather, the ranger removes his hood and faces the troll with a smirk upon his lips. He liked this guys additude. " You know, if you wanna fight preks, I might have a job for you." He would let this settle before he said. " If you -can- fight, that is."

Judith oocly thinks of rotted breath. >> Gag.

Daunn snorts, blowing the hair on Warren's head around, and straightens up with a vicious smirk on his face. "You want proof, you got proof. You want fight me? Now? Here? Or you want I have a challenge instead? Give me something hard to do."

Daunn would like to oocly point out to Judith that trolls don't floss either. ;) And a carnivore's breath always stinks, just like your dog or cat's breath. ;) Scaled up to 9' tall.

Warren holds the smirk as he says. " We shall fight soon enough, sound good?"

Daunn grunts, satisfied. "Good. Soon. All this talk is boring. When we fight?"

Warren says to daunn, "Tommorow, agreed? I'll let you choose the place."

Daunn jerks his head, indicating to the south. "Forest. Clearing west of fishing hole. Morning. Good?"

Warren nods his head with a calm that would unnerve most. To fight a troll was no small feat for a human, but it was a challenge Warren accepted without hesitation. " Very good. Until then troll, stay alive."
