RP:Releasing the Dragon

From HollowWiki

Awne made her way steadily, towards the fort, she had gotten lost a number of times but had found her way when she picked back up on the scent of the ogre that hated her most. He'd likely hate that notion that she found the fort with the help of his scent. no matter. Dressed warmly, the feline bore a coat of white, the hood over her head to give her more warmth, black gloves to her hands and a long sleeved peasent top of pale blue with a corset of brown over it, a long skirt of matching brown with a few layers beneath ending in brown soft boots. moving to the forts entrence she takes pause at the guards, gulping faintly she moves onward, attempting vainly to look as though it was no big thing she was there.

Gorkall stood silently by Trishtar's cage. The Ogre in full armor and wielding his staff tightly in his right hand. From behind he heard a shuffle of movement and turned to face a trio of beings. Two Ogre guards and a single white feline. The behemoth tilted his head back to Trishtar who seemed to be rather annoyed with the state of his imprisonment. The Ogre swallowed deep before speaking out. "The bail for the Dragon of Sage has been set at a firm forty thousand gold. I assume you have brought the funds to free your loved one?"

Awne nods her head, eyes looking over to her husband within the cage. true enough he looked more than annoyed at the state of things, but the smile to his lips for her was warming to her heart and soul. Turning her gaze back to the ogre she nods again "i have it..." she bites her lip slightly and shifts, he was always telling her she was too trusting, would it be bad to ask if he could keep his word to release him? would that do more damage?

Gorkall passed a glance to the duo of guards and they departed back to their stations outside of the Prison. The Ogre nodded to the feline and spoke in a rasp voice. "Let's see it then. I won't sit here all night waiting."

Awne shifts again but moves forward finally to hand him the purse of gold she had for him, the full amount, not a copper out of place. Moving quickly she goes to the bars, the dragon moving to them as well to brush his hand through her hair. turning to the ogre she asks him "rrelease him now? please?"

Awne gave 40000 gold to you.

Gorkall took the extended bag that was offered to him. The green-skin lifting the bag and shaking it. The jingling of the coins bringing an avid smile to his visage. He assumed it to be the correct amount and would simply hunt the couple down later if it weren't. Chaining the bag to his belt he turned to face Awne once more whom had pressed past him to see her loved one. Gorkall did not nod to her words but instead moved to the cage and pulled out a large iron key. He slid it into the keyhole and a light click would send the door creaking open. He stood to the side to allow Trishtar to escape from the confinement and offered no words to the duo as he awaited them to depart. A conversation seemed awkward due to the current status. He simply hoped that the dragon would remain what honor he had and not attack the Ogre.

Awne moved quickly to the door, the dragon following to scoop her up in his arms, a kiss being shared and then a tight embrace. Sighing softly the feline turns back to the ogre "thank you.." she says softly "forr keeping yourr worrd to me.." She looks down, she had actually made a wish at the well to all them to be friends, she didn't know if it would ever come true but she could certainly hope. She bites her lip and removes to vials from her bodice, offering them to him "One's forr oggy....the otherr is forr you..I...I don't know how magic worrks with you but it seems to hurrt you so...these...these arre potions...they'rre just as good as healing magic..when you need it more, nearr the end of yourr brreath orr hearrt beat, it will heal you." she holds jiggles the bright orange "it's a fail safe forr you. It...has a cost...it doesn't last long and the pain afterr will hurrt a lot, but it will help you to turrn the tide of a fight...the otherr." she taps the little white-blue vial "is forr oggy...his eye...it'll help his body heal it fasterr..kill off any harrmful bacterria."

Gorkall felt his lips curl into a snarl as the two embraced one another but he allowed it to fade as the feline cast another glance back to him. As she offered the potions Gorkall immediately thought them to be poisoned. Yet he resisted the urge to call out the healer and simply pulled a sack from his belt and held it out allowing the vials to drop together inside. He tied the bag back off and simply nodded to the door as he wrapped the cloth back to his belt. Crammer made himself known as he approached them and spoke. "Follow, I lil' uns'." The guard of the prison pulled his neck towards the exit and would lead Awne and Trishtar out of Gamorg.

Awne looked up to the new ogre, nodding to trish to go on, pushing him to exit "i'll be out in a moment." she tells him, watching him follow the other, well...not so much follow as get far enough away for the feline to 'think' he had left. She knew him better than to think that. turning back to the ogre, she shifts her feet "how's oggy..?"

Gorkall let his dulled-eyes turn to Awne and he remained silent. The shrieks of prisoners being tortured had grown loud. Whips could be heard cracking, gears turning and fires burning. The Ogre turned his back to the woman and began to proceed deeper into the prison calling out over his shoulder to her in a low voice. "Our business is done. Leave Gamorg, and never return." Those were the only words offered as the Ogre faded into the dark depths of the prison. Screams became louder, and the sound of a skull being cracked echoed through the shadows. 'No! Please! Noo~' 'Ger'of me ye' godam green'un!' 'Help! Help me! Help!'

Awne 's ears lowered to her skull as she sighed, she missed her friend, only wanted to know if he was alright.. turning she moves to the exit, gathering her hiding husband to return home, finally. Idly she leans into him, giving him room to lift her into his arms to fly off to the mainland; away from the prison , the ogre, and her friend that was lost to her.
