RP:Problematic Probation

From HollowWiki

Summary: Upon announcing their engagement at their housewarming party, Tiber and Lanara ended the night abruptly as the final two guests arrived. Corrine, a member of the Amber Lunation, has broken a blood oath by bringing a date that had brought great harm to her Alpha and Luna. Nicolai Garter, the Backstreet Bard, claims that the pair had imprinted and he expects to be respected and allowed to join the Pack! It's the next day and Tiber calls a Pack meeting, which ends with a tied vote, meaning that Nick's fate is in balance. Knowing that the code of the group is sacred, Tiber allows Nick to semi-join their ranks, as he is now on a probationary period of one month.

Part of the New Moon, New Motion Arc

(Post 1 of 2) After the housewarming party had abruptly concluded the night prior, Tiber had called an emergency meeting with the Pack, as Corrine had seriously crossed the line for the last time. The announcement of their engagement had been well received by all it seemed, save for the fiery redhead, who had arrived moments later and insulted Lanara in front of her friends and family. To make matters worse, Corrine had brought a ‘date’ to the party, and it was none other than Nick, the bane of Tiber’s existence and Lanara’s long term stalker! The couple was wise enough not to make a scene, but it was obvious the party was over, as everyone chose to depart upon sensing the tension in the room. Greyson, thankfully, had ushered Corrine and Nick from the premises and had been calming things down back at the Pack’s headquarters. Before bed, Tiber and Lana had cleaned the house and opened the presents they received, before finding comfort in each other's arms.

(Post 2 of 2) Lanara sits on the bench before her vanity, running a brush through her thick locks, and merely staring into the mirror. She’s not seeing her reflection, she’s so deep in thought that she’s unaware she’s been staring blindly at the glass and coming her hair for the past thirty minutes. Corrine’s taunting words from the night before had been taken as both a threat and a cruel premonition, and Lanara fixates on the venom laced words now, wondering if the third time truly is a charm. This is her third engagement and so far, it’s the most rocky, but her feelings are also much stronger for Tiber than any man that had come before him. They are soulmates, wolf mates, twin flames, and she’s certain that he won’t leave her at the altar… But, what if he does? That miniscule inkling had been perfectly planted at the conclusion of their engagement party, coupled with the sight of the Backstreet Bard that had nearly killed her with his bare hands, and ever since the witch had been at a loss for words. She’s sure that her fiance picks up on her shift in mood, and even though she yearns for reassurance that everything will work out, she knows she needs to tell him that she’s also not going anywhere. Sliding from the bench, clad in a pale pink sweater and hip hugging jeans, Lana walks over to Tiber and wraps her arms around his torso. She sways in place for a moment, her head upon his chest, and she hugs him tightly, “I love you so much, and I just want to be your wife… I’m not sure what the Pack will vote on regarding Nick, but no matter what, it won’t change what -we- have.” Tiber is her stability and safe haven, and she feels strong saying those words aloud while in his arms.

(1 of 2) The night prior, Tiber was taken way back by the appearance of… Nick. It took every piece of him not to blow and swirl into a pit of red. The atmosphere the night prior was too thick to continue the night of celebration, but at least the newly engaged couple kept their cool, right? Well, for now. Tiberius did not sleep well that night, and for that, after Lanara had fallen slumber, he crept out to sit out on the balcony with a cigarette. Maybe a couple cigarettes. There were multiple things that came to mind… the plotting of Nick’s death was one, but after cigarette two, he thought another solid beating might do the trick, but as he turned in to lay back down, he saw Lanara’s face. There was no way he could risk another false move to be thrown in the clinker. Because the next time would be longer. Should he? Should he just take out Nick for good? His brain stirred on and on that night in a fit of thoughts. (2 of 2) The next morning, the man is down with, yet, another cigarette and a cup of coffee as he stared at a local paper he had picked up the day prior. His finger taps a bit of ash into a nearby ashtray. He knew he should not be smoking in the house, so he quickly dabs out the bud before Lanara awakens. When he strides up the stairs with another mug of coffee for his beloved, he leans against the frame. She is combing her hair and she looks tranced. The man sips on his own mug before slinking over to stand behind her in the mirror. “You’re going to wrinkle staring so hard like that.” And as she moves over to him to wrap herself within him, he looks up at her. “I love -you-, and I’m -not- letting him in this Godforsaken pack. I don’t care what the others think. Lanara, he tried to kill you because he was obsessed with you. And then he walks in with Corrine? Thinking that he can step into -our- house? See where -you- live? Can’t we have a choice, here? We lead the pack. I understand the ‘fairness’ or 'bond as a whole group' issue, but come on, Lana, this is ridiculous. He’s lucky he made it out alive last night.”

Lanara can smell the smoke that lingers on Tiber’s clothes and she rolls her eyes, “Great. I will have wrinkles and you will sound like you swallowed a frog… I guess I should stop looking into mirrors and you better quit smoking.” She’s sassy, as always, but the man is used to her on-the-fly comments. She sighs and accepts the mug of coffee, taking a long pull, as she is in great need of caffeine. “I don’t like it either, but you heard Corrine’s last words… Apparently, the two of them bumped into each other and they imprinted within seconds!” Lana shakes her head, “I don’t believe their story for a single second, especially since it seems like she sought him out shortly after we both told her that there would be no Backstreet Bards at our wedding. I’m guessing they are planning something elaborate to ruin our special day, and although I loathe them both… I do know that Nick has faced some hardship after what he did to me, to us.” The bard had been disowned from his family and as a result was banned from their wolfpack. Even his band had betrayed him, as they worked on a few new songs and went on tour, without Nick! “Look. I don’t like this any more than you, but if we go back on our original ‘rules’ for the Pack? Rules that we all took under a blood oath? We will lose any credibility that we’ve built with -everyone- in the Pack. I say that we all take a vote on it… All of us can plead our case, and if Nick is unfortunately let in the Pack? Well. It’s good to have our enemies closeby, right? Plus, he will be closely watched by all of us, and if he messes up again? You can kill him.” Lanara sips the rest of her coffee slowly, “If Nick screws up, even the slightest, Corrine will face the same punishment.”

Tiber furrows his brows at her thrown comment. Quit smoking? What? Tiberius Lowell quit smoking? “At least I’d be a sexy frog,” is all he really retorts with that quizzical, narrowed gaze. He shakes his head. Besides the point. “It’s oddly coincidental, if that is the case, but… it’s poor timing. Strange timing. I wonder what it would be like to really set the fear of Gods to really see if it’s true…” He stares over Lanara’s head, and she keeps talking, and he keeps that frown on his face on how Nick had ‘hardships’. “What happened to him was a natural consequence. What did he think would happen? Get to walk through the hall of fame for being the best psychopath?” A hand reaches over his face. The man is seething. More than the girl who was almost killed. Was Lanara really caring for him? Her words were like pins, but Lanara Banks had been resilient. Kind. Not forgiving, but… abiding by rules and understanding emotions. She goes on about the rules of the pack. The oath of the Amber Lunation and Tiber looks off to the side in resistance, but eventually, he falls back into her gaze. Mostly at the… ‘if he messes up again, you can kill him part’. “Fine. We will see what the group thinks, Sven let them have a brain, and then we will give them a chance.” He sharply inhales. “Why are you so… right?” A palm slides under his chin in that mild frustration. Then, his lips lower and brush against hers in a quick kiss. “I love you. And that... right brain of yours.” He scratches the side of his head. “We should probably get going.”

Lanara senses that Tiber is frustrated by this situation and she partially blames herself, because Nick had always lingered in her presence, since the day she had set foot upon the soil of Lithrydel. With a sigh, she runs a hand through her long locks, “I’m sorry… I didn’t think my stalker would be coming back into our lives so soon. Honestly? Nick isn’t -that- bright. If anyone’s cooking something up, it has to be Corrine, that's the mastermind.” She adds, “I’m not protecting Nick, nor do I feel bad for anything that has or may happen to him in the future. I’m not foolish enough to think he’s a changed man, either. I just think that we can sort of try and spin this to our advantage, too. Let them think we are naive and that our bond can be broken. The joke’s on them, Babe.” The quick kiss is eagerly met, and she feigns a small smile, trying to exude some confidence after having given her fiance a pep talk. “Ready? They’re probably waiting for us…” Hand in hand, the couple leaves their beautiful home and walks the short distance to the Pack’s location, only pausing when they arrive on the property. Lana sighs, “I’d much rather be cake tasting today, but I guess we have to get this over with, huh?” She playfully elbows him, “You’re lucky I love you, Lowell… Having to put up with the hag and the dejected man-boy first thing in the morning…”

Tiber tried his best to see Lanara’s view on the bard. Pretending to be naive? Tiber fiddles with the thought, and he is curious to see the outcome of what Corrine and Nick do…? Is Corrine trying to get under Lanara’s skin? Should Tiber and Lanara just play into it to foil Corrine’s mood, or are the lycans really imprinted? “Jokes on them.. Right,” he manages a small smile before following his future wife out the door and into the forest. Once they arrive, he lets out a small sigh. “And to think, that is -one- thing I’m truly interested in. Cake.” Tiber was just always a hungry boy, and loved sweets. Especially the sweet thang right next to him. The elbow makes him peer down at her with a playful frown. “You’re lucky I love you enough not to rip up a certain ‘man-boy’. Let’s just get this over with,” and then he would tug on her hand gently to guide them into the Pack house. Once stepping through the threshold, Tiber would holler throughout the house, “Knock, knock, children,” he taunts in a teasing tone to lighten some of the atmosphere. He knew he was trying to bite back anger with childish teasing. He looks around the living room to find Greyson in the distance of the kitchen with a mug of his own coffee and Violet lounging on a barstool with her cheek in her palm. A flat stare in those brown eyes. “Ha, ha,” she says dryly. “This better be worth me getting up so early,” the young adult says moodily. Clearly, Violet is not a morning person. Meanwhile, Greyson is coming out of the kitchen. “Hey, good morning sunshine,” he grins at Tiber for the most part, teasing the man back. “Morning, Lana,” he says calmly and carefully. He knew this was going to be a rocky meeting after some of the fill-in from Tiber the night before.

Lanara giggles at Tiber’s comment, because in truth, she loves seeing her man get all protective and jealous. It’s easy to rile the lycan up, but deep down, she isn’t enjoying the possibility of Nick joining the Amber Lunation. Anything that upsets her mate, upsets her, and Asha has been a bundle of nerves since seeing Corrine and Nick waltz into their home and ruin their housewarming party. She -loathes- Corrine, perhaps more so than Tiber hates the bard! They had only announced their engagement hours ago and they should be celebrating, not feeling sick to their stomachs and trying to tame their anger! Asha is getting upset, so Lana drops Tiber’s hand and breezes past Greyson, “Morning Grey, Morning Violet.” She aims to go into the restroom, so that she can look into the mirror and work on her game face. To hell with wrinkles! “Sorry…” The dimly lit hallway has her bumping into someone and immediately offering an apology, though as she realizes who it is, she growls, “-Not- sorry…” Nick holds his hands up and begins to stammer, stumbling over his words much as he had every single time he was this close to the pretty woman, “Nick. Shut. Up. I don’t want to hear it.” It’s proof that he’s still smitten with her, because if he was this nervous around her then there’s no way he imprinted with another female. “Go get your ‘mate’ and meet everyone in the living room. Tell the others, too. Be quick about it, we don’t have all day.” She’s seething and very possibly going to shift if he starts stuttering again, so Lana enters the restroom and slams the door behind her, so she can take a few deep breaths in peace. She remembers fully the way he had hurled her into a coffin, his fists making contact with her slight frame, the crunching of her rips, the ripping of the skin on her face… A moment later there is a knock upon the door and the witch curses, creeping it open with tearfilled eyes, only to faintly smile as she locks eyes with Tybalt. “Hey, Balto…” The kid excitedly shows off his new arm, pointing to various spots and babbling about each function, but he pauses upon seeing his Luna in tears. “I’m going to vote ‘no’ because that Backstreet Tard makes you sad…” Lana doesn’t correct him that he means to say -bard- but it stops her tears in their tracks, and so she takes Tybalt’s new hand and escorts him to the living room where everyone is seated. A nod is given to Tiber to begin and to let him know that she’s alright, before she takes a seat between her mate and Bjorn. “What? No popcorn?” At least Bjorn is taking this meeting seriously, as there aren’t -that- many crumbs on his shirt and he didn’t bring along any snacks.

(1 of 2) Tiber rolls his eyes at Greyson who has the grin plastered on his face. Eventually it fades, for the seriousness at hand. “Don’t worry, boss. Whatever it is, I’m on your side. Unless, it’s -clearly- wrong and you’re blinded by… well, you.” He gives Tiber a smack on the back before sitting on the arm of one of the couches with his mug of coffee. Violet slugs her way from the kitchen over to the couch where Bjorn is and lazily lets her body fall into the cushion like a dramatic teen. The eighteen year old rests her head on Bjorn’s shoulder, and it’s clear that Violet and Bjorn have more of a sibling bond because, of course, Violet is way younger than the man. Tiber hears the slam of the door in the distant hallway which makes him frown, and soon enough Corrine comes out with the, one and only, Nick. Back to the Street you belong to Nick. “Man-boy!” Tiber chimes in a very tight-teethed way, but his voice sounds mockingly chipper. Greyson keeps his eyes on the Alpha. Celeste quickly waltzes in as she glides by to sit on a distant barstool to observe in the background. Lanara comes in lastly with Tybalt with a look of… mild approval. With Bjorn’s statement, comes Violet’s groan, “Popcorn? More like another cup of coffee. Why couldn’t we do this later?” She throws an arm over her eyes dramatically in that monotone, teen angst way, but once she peeks and sees the Alpha’s face, she realizes this was no joking manner. “Sorry, Alpha. I’m just not a morning person, that’s all.” The silver-haired girl says quickly. Tiber nods in understanding.

(2 of 2) Tiber’s amber eyes trace the room and there is a moment where he stares at Lanara. Could he do this? Could he resist the urge to jump across the room at the dorky lunatic? Tiber’s teeth grind before he is able to get it together, and it is only Greyson who whispers “Boss,” that makes Tiberius speak. “I’m sorry Violet for getting you up so early. Everyone, in fact. Actually maybe -not- everyone.” Amber eyes glare at Nick and Corrine. “We are gathered this morning to talk about last night at the -engagement party-, mind you.” Yeah, Nick. Lanara’s about to be hitched soon, so back off, buddy. There is a threatening tone, but one that is careful. Territorial. “Corrine informed us that Nick and Corrine imprinted… and if that is the case, congratulations,” there was no sincerity, but only an intense stare. “But… there is a problem that we need to solve. I don’t know if Nick is the right man-boy to fit into this pack. Afterall, word has it… no one even wants you.” Cool it, Tiber. Luca in his mind had been howling, screaming with rage. “Get him out, Tiber, get him out! Kill him! Keep him away from Asha!” Luca was fierce. The true wolf within wanted to break out. Tiber takes a breath. “Corrine and Nick, you will have your chance to speak, but first, I get to speak and Lanara gets to speak, and then the rest of the group can hear what you have to say. At the end we will take a vote on how we see fit for the situation. Nick, you know very well you were supposed to stay away from Lanara because you have put her in danger before. You jeopardized her life, and made her feel unsafe. What makes you truly think that you won’t do it again? Even if you were with Corrine, wouldn’t there be any part of you that resented her for you getting kicked out of your boy band or your family for what you have done? After all, you were pretty clear with the blame game the night you assaulted my future wife.” Tiber’s tone was deadly low. Lanara best keep a hold on Tiber, as well. Greyson was already there with a hand on the man’s shoulder. “Calm down, boss… Let’s let Lanara speak, yeah?”

(Post 1 of 2) Lanara listens intently to Tiber’s speech but her gaze isn’t on the male, as she’s closely watching each expression in the circle, as though trying to gauge which way the Pack would vote on this matter. She can sense the ire that lies dangerously close to combusting in Tiber’s tone, and after a moment she lifts her hand to snatch his, so that she can trace kisses on the inside of his wrist. Her lush lips are soothing and sensual against his flesh, but if he’s to gaze down at his mate, he would see that her big brown eyes are bleeding into his amber orbs, urging him to keep his cool. They could work through their tension in private, but for now, they had to show the Pack that being threatened by a single bard isn’t enough to untether all that they’ve built. She’s slow to speak once it’s her turn, as she feels a mixture of anxiety from trying to quell Tiber’s anger and the fact that she’s only a few feet across from Nick, a man that had left her battered and bloodied. Asha is -angry- and she desperately wants to let loose and rip out both Corrine and Nick’s throats, but alas, she is Luna of the Amber Lunation and so her duties must come first. With a final nip to Tiber’s wrist, she crosses her legs and her arms, forcing her gaze to rest upon the table in the center of the room. The current centerpiece is one of Tybalt’s dinosaur puzzles and it’s oddly calming, “As most of you know, Nick and I were friends for a very long time. I hired the Bards to perform at a lot of my functions, we’d occasionally meet for lunch, it was all very innocent and strictly platonic. At some point, he crossed the line, and so I distanced myself because I never saw him in a romantic light.” She swallows, “There were a few occasions where he crossed the line… Such as drugging me, forcing his affections on me, leaving me for dead, abducting my pets and helping me ‘rescue’ them, befriending my sister, holding me captive in his mothers psychiatric hospital for nearly a year… The list goes on.” Shaking her head, she looks at Nick, “At one time I called you a friend, and there was that time that you helped me when I was on trial. The donations to Happy Tails. I thank you for all of that… But you do -not- belong with this Pack, or anywhere near me. The last time I saw you?!” She laughs sarcastically as a tear trickles down her cheek, “You broke my ribs. You busted my face! You kicked and punched me so many times, when I was -already- on my deathbed, and you threw me into a COFFIN! What’s worse? You taunted me for -weeks- and left me sick gifts! You stalked me, endlessly, ever since I came to these lands. I cannot forget what you’ve done to me, and I will -not- forgive you. No one in this Pack should trust you, and I’m not sure we can trust Corrine, either. Given her choice of your company, or the fact that she blatantly ignored a direct order from her Alpha. But, this isn’t about Corrine… And so, I think that if Nick should be allowed into this Pack? That we won’t be as safe, because he will again cross the line with me, or perhaps if he truly has chosen Corrine as his mate, he will horribly hurt her. I think he is weak and that he always has a hidden motive. I think this will also put your Alpha and Luna under great stress.”

(Post 2 of 2) Nick clears his throat once Lana stops speaking, and he rises to his feet, his cerulean hues glued upon the brunette. “Hurting you was never my intention, Lana, I only did that so you would want to fight, to live! I guess in my head it made sense, but I’m so sorry that I did that… I love yo-Corrine now. A part of my heart will always belong to you, true, because you were the first girl I’ve ever been attracted to…” Bjorn guffaws, “So… You were a homosexual until you saw our Luna? She changed you?” Nick ignores the interruption, “Corrine and I imprinted, as I said, we are wolf mates, and as the code states… I am to be welcome and protected amongst the Amber Lunation. I will swear my fealty to this Pack, and I will provide you all with any coin or assistance you may need, at any time. I truly don’t mean to make any trouble, I just want to be with you…” He catches himself, as he stares at Lana, and so he turns to awkwardly pat Corrine on the head, “You. My dear. Corrine. I only want to be at your side.” It’s so quiet in the room as everyone seems deep in thought, except Bjorn, who is -still- laughing and cracking jokes about Nick’s sexuality. At one point he refers to him as a ‘Backside’ Bard! Next up is Corrine, but she waits for Tiber to nod his head and acknowledge her turn.

(1 of 2) Tiber eventually feels the brush of lips against his warm skin. It brings a sense of calm, although he had been tense in his shoulders. Eyes shift to look at Lanara and he connects with his beloved. A pleading stare. One that is so deep, strong, but slightly fearful. At this point, looking into those pools of brown, he falters. The hand she holds is now squeezing hers. He knew. He knew he could not let it get chaotic again… like what happened to her before. He nods and lets the Kelvarian take her time. Eyes keep steady on his Luna while Greyson does the job to watch the other lycans around the room. As Lanara talks, Tiber keeps her hand steady in his. He is firm in his grasp, for he wanted her to know that he was her rock. Someone to lean on. Forever. To love. To hold. This was not the ideal morning they wanted after celebrating their announcement of forever, but this was what forever was about. Keeping each other steady. With every reflecting memory, Luca growls in the back of Tiber’s mind. “Please, Tiber. Please. We can end this.” Tiber does not hesitate, but only keeps his eyes on Lanara, for that is the only way he can get himself together. The man needed to be regulated for her. The man keeps his cool as that tear trickles down Lanara’s face and an inhale is taken in as he sees the pain she had been caused. In the background, Celeste can be seen with her lips sealed tightly with pained eyes. The raw emotion from her Luna had been almost suffocating and relatable in a small sense to Celeste’s past. Being drugged that is and attempted at being taken captive. There was a clear sense of knowing… Nick was a bad man in her view, but she would abide until the conversation was done.

(2 of 2) Then, it is Nick’s turn and suddenly Tiber turns to address the bard attentively. Tiber seems more at ease which causes Greyson to lower back down on the arm of one of the sofas. Nick explains his sorrow. His twisted mindset. His love for… who? Was he about to say… Lanara? Did Tiber almost hear that, right? Did the others? He looks around at each individual to also figure out expressions. Anything. Once Nick is done, Tiber lifts his chin and sucks in his cheeks again. “You understand that imprinting is a very rare form of bond… right? To have it happen so quickly… Seems…” Tiber hesitates as he reflects on Nick’s long stare at Lanara. “Corrine, I’d like to hear from you. You have to understand where Lanara is coming from,” Tiberius pauses and his gaze lingers expectantly on Corrine. He keeps his cool. “If you don’t understand where Lanara is coming from, I get it, you two have had a rocky start with each other. At least try to understand my perspective. I’m just trying to gauge what is right for the pack,” he gestures to the group. “And, you. Nick has done some reckless things, and I’d hate to see you hurt, too. You’re, after all, part of the family.” Tiber was hoping to give a softer side for the red head to cave in. This would be the time to tell the truth, right?

(Post 1 of 2) Lanara keeps a hold of Tiber’s hand, squeezing it so tightly that her knuckles have gone white, as Nick addresses her directly. She believes his apology, because love can make someone do crazy things, but this love was entirely one sided, and she had fought off his advances from the start. She’s still imagining how she had nearly died, and she would have, if Tiber didn’t find her in time. She’s fighting to keep her composure, but she visibly pales when the bard nearly states that he loves her, in front of the entire Pack. Others caught that slip of the tongue, right?! Tiber must have, because he begins to question Corrine, and she somewhat relaxes. At least those blue eyes weren’t lingering on her face anymore, and thankfully, Bjorn’s attempt at humor lessens the intensity of the moment. Violet is rolling her eyes, but Bjorn is trying to seriously figure out what BSB stands for, and just before Corrine is about to give her speech, he claps his hands, “I got it! Butt Slapping Boys! Right?! That’s it?!” The witch knows she’s supposed to be serious, at this -is- a serious matter, but she cannot stop the burst of laughter that escapes. Before long, the contagious giggle reaches a few others in the room, even Tybalt who clearly doesn’t understand the joke. Nick is all red faced as he glares at Bjorn, “It’s Backstreet Bards!”

(Post 2 of 2) Corrine waits for the commotion about her ‘mates’ sexuality to settle, before she flutters her long lashes, and gives Tiberius a saucy smirk, “I’m fully aware about how serious an imprint is, and that’s why I demand that Nick be allowed to join the Pack. I know he hurt Lanara, and I can’t erase his past, but if he accepts the oath that means he will have to be loyal to the Pack. Plus, why would he want -that- when he has me?!” Her vivid green eyes flash with desire as she looks Tiber up and down, before she forces her gaze to Nick, the man she’s feigning interest in. “I didn’t expect to fall in love, neither did Nick, but we did and that’s why we are pleading our case. How would you feel if the roles were reversed? And we were hesitant about letting Lana join? How would -you- feel, Alpha, if you weren’t allowed to be with your mate?” She’s teetering on dangerous territory as she taunts Tiber, and Greyson clears his throat, “Maybe we should all vote now?” There’s a long pause as everyone takes the quartet’s words into consideration, and Lana lifts her hand, “For those -not- in favor of Nick joining the Amber Lunation… Please raise your hand.” She counts Tiber, Greyson, Tybalt, and herself as a ‘no’ and frowning, she exchanges a look with her mate. “Those in favor of Nick joining the Amber Lunation, please raise your hand…” Again, the total is four, and she blinks, “Celeste, you didn’t vote?!”

(1 of 2) Once the whole group cracks off about Bjorn’s cluelessness, Tiber pinches the bridge of his nose due to Bjorn’s ignorance. This was quite the meeting and Tiber was about to be thrown overboard. Lanara is laughing, but she has a stick-in-the-mud as a fiance when it comes to serious conflict. Tiber did not say anything, for by now he knows who his family is. Who his love is. Lanara needed some laughter right now in such a tight room. As it is Corrine’s time to speak, Tiberius is oblivious to the sultry look she is giving him. He is so frustrated, stern, and frazzled to be thinking of the longing stares. Besides, his mind is on Nick. All he could think about is that longing looking gaze Nick made at Lanara. That happened, right? Right? Corrine says… the right things. As in that Nick cannot change his past, that he would have to be loyal, that he would have to love… Corrine. Loving Corrine? Was she really what Nick was looking for? Talk about a difference between Lanara and Corrine. Corrine was confident and not ugly by any means, but she was bossy, rude, and at times, selfish. Perhaps Nick wanted a hard-headed woman? As Corrine goes on and pushes the line about Lanara, Tiber takes a step forward and is about to open his mouth when Greyson steps in. Luca is screaming in the back of Tiber’s mind. “How -dare- she talk about Asha that way! Lanara -saved- all of them! That’s not even a possibili--” and then Luca’s and Tiber’s racing thoughts were cut off by the vote. Violet states her case with her vote, “Thing is, Corrine said they imprinted. If it’s part of the code, I’m not about to go against it. I understand Alpha, but I’m very black and white when it comes to these types of things. We don’t have to all like each other.” Violet was not mean about it, but clearly stating the facts.

(2 of 2) Tiber blinks at each hand that is raised. How could Bjorn and Violet vote against Tiber and Lanara? Then… Celeste. Celeste is looking down in a very low, uncomfortable state. As the others question the pale blonde, she slowly looks up. “I get the pain that Lanara suffered. I feel it. I… It hurts so much what that man did to her. But… there is also mild forgiveness. But… I also feel… other energies in the room despite Luna’s. I feel a mixture with that pain, but I’m not sure where it’s coming from… it’s just too overwhelming. I feel great confusion, great passion, worry, love… I can’t think. I just don’t know. I’m sorry, everyone.” She looks at everyone in an apologetic way, but also… still uneasy. Tiber then looks at everyone. “Fine. Then, it’s settled, Nick is not -officially- part of the Amber Lunation, but on probation. I give him a month or so before we reassess. Lanara and I will discuss the time of your probationary period. You’re on thin ice, man-boy. Corrine will help situate you. Meeting adjourned.” With that, he turns to the Kelvarian. “I think it’s best if we take a little breather.”
